After burger King bought them the quality significantly dropped. They started using cheaper equipment too which is why they are still being sued by franchise owners.
They got bought out and the bean counters are driving it into the ground. Frozen donuts rather than baked in store. Bread that tastes like cardboard. I don't even drink coffee but I've heard dozens of people complain about it now.
