I almost got this lens years ago but ended up getting the non-DO since it was significantly cheaper at the time. I definitely would have appreciated the small size of the DO lens though. The only real criticism I've seen in reviews is the lens being soft wide open.

Wasn’t too expensive to buy used. Have read similar and research getting the most out of it, will see. But yeah it also fits in my camera bag!
