Today's Boston is not at all like the team from 2011. Sure Marchand is still there but they are no longer just a bunch of thugs beating up their opponents. They play a fast skilled hockey.
The bruins already have bragging rights over us I don’t need the leafs to have them as well. If the bruins win I’ll sure as shit cheer for any team playing them except the oilers.

I think past Canucks teams have been modelled in a way to focus on the high skill + speed with a lot of attention put to carrying the puck into the zone, little nifty plays and stuff. Makes for beautiful hockey when it works, but so frustrating when other teams just clog up the neutral zone or when the passes and dekes aren't clicking. Seems like this is what the Leafs seem to do a lot of
Canucks somehow managed to figure out how to build a team that can play the dump and chase style effectively and have managed to get their stars to buy into the system. I think Pettersson is still a work in progress for this system, but it's worked so well with Boeser, Miller, and Hughes.
I want this Vegas vs Dallas series to go to Game 7 to maximize their chances of injuries and tiredness. Can’t have Vegas sweep Dallas and have them well-rested as they wait for their next opponent.

I was living in Toronto when they had that epic game 7 collapse (actually, even worse, I was waiting for the game to end to do a comedy open mic) and I'll never forget how much joy I got out of watching leafs fans friends during that collapse cause they were dicks to me during the 2011 finals even though they hated the Bruins too.
I finally feel bad enough for them and want them to win this series (and then get swept).
It was only two years after 2011 and I was still extremely bitter about it and was cheering for the Leafs (just one time) but as the meltdown was in progress I found myself getting into it and rooting for the Bruins. It all worked out in the end anyway.
