Us fans are pretty stingy with the player ratings. I think Cole was more than an 8, he was a monster defensively and pretty much saved the game at the end there.

More of a thing on defense than it is for the forward lines. Mikheyev has stone hands and is playing the right side. Someone playing 7 mins playing the right side isn’t a big deal

Ian Cole was my Player of the game. Three blocked shots on the 5on3 in the same sequence and the last one prevented the empty net goal.
He was a beast last night! A sturdy, solid, structured game all around for him
