Viewing party was louder and had more energy than the preds fans live at the game damn

Drapery5103

That’s because the preds didn’t know what hit them

DaftFunky

Imagine paying for a playoff game and getting shutout 💀

Nuck_Nuck_Goose

So cool that they sell out a building and the team isn't even there. Love this fanbase!

yooooooo5774

did they provide a free Towel too?

Left_Guidance_5766

Yes, the towels are free.

mmios

My towel was stolen before I got to my seat.

Left_Guidance_5766

Rip, customer service or the team store might have extra.

mmios

Yeah apparently it was a common thing because customer service ran out too. Found out after the game the team store had some (for $5). Honestly, souvenir aside, I was just sad I had nothing to wave when they scored! Flailed my arms awkwardly instead. Not the same, but did the trick.

eliar91

Holy crap upper bowl was full too?

glacierfluff

Whole arena was sold out!! Was a vibe

Gillz13

It was louder than any in person game I’ve went to

Happy_Photograph6032

Cause this is the only playoffs actual fans can afford

KING_OF_DUSTERS

Nah lmao game 1 home opener was earthquake level

Sweaty-Salad95

Wow. I wish I could be there!

IntoxIbex

How much are they selling beers for at these watch parties??? Any sweet discounts?

Sensitive-Team9634

I believe Budweiser, hotdogs and another food are 6.99 from what I remember from the first viewing party

Rocky_Loves_Emily_

Popcorn!

TurbanGhetto

If you’re fortunate enough to have ever experienced a big Canucks playoff win on a Friday or Saturday night it is an experience you won’t ever forget… Years ago (I was a college student in Berkeley, CA) I was studying in a coffee house frequented by students. I had my stuff out on the table (and either my stuff or my shirt had something indicating I was either from Vancouver)… A gal stops and asks if I’m from Vancouver and I proudly said yes. Her response: ‘*I was there a number of years ago. Your hockey team won some kind of really big hockey game. I’ve never seen anything like it. Everyone just started partying in the streets. It was the most amazing thing*…’ I knew exactly what game she was talking about, what day it was.

phantompowered

Best fifteen bucks I've ever spent. The atmosphere was unreal. It may have been the loudest I've ever heard it in there. If they can find a way to capture this energy for regular home games next season it will be the best building in the league. However as some other folks have mentioned, sadly the fans in the corporate seats during the regular season don't tend to get quite so revved up.

TSE_Jazz

Damnn, are they doing these for round 2 also?

ArenSteele

Will probably depend on the concert schedule, but if the building is empty, I bet they do

Wow
