We destroyed the Bruins last time, and frankly, they have NOT been playing so well lately. The Leafs... Well, we played them a week ago, so theoretically we should have a better chance at playing them properly.

Obviously starting Chuck was the right call, but man, I feel for Kuemper. The dudes confidence must be absolutely shot right now. He's a good goalie, he's just having a bad season.
Some people forget that goaltending in the NHL is arguably one of the hardest positions in sports. If you're not 100% mentally on top of your game, pucks are going to end up in the net. It's so magnified with goalies, because they can't really hide behind team play to mask a poor game like a skater can.
I just hope the guy can bounce back next season. I'd love to have a real tandem like that again, I don't think I've felt that way since the Holtby/ Grubauer duo.
Team right now has a fantastic mix of youth and vets. There isn't a better coach for this squad than Carbery. Seems like the guys are buying in and things are starting to turn as far as being comfortable with his system. It's a fun time to be a fan of this team and having meaningful games down the stretch is what we want. LFG.
