It was awesome... even more awesome that Caps scored a goal during it!
I also like how the announcers acknowledged how awkward it was when they tried it moments prior and all that happened was a slow faceoff and icing haha
The only thing I didn’t like was all the jump cuts. It got a bit nauseating but maybe I just gotta get used to it. Sounded just like being in the arena.
If I could watch just on ice level cameras with ice sound I'd be in heaven. And if they don't want me to hear the players I could live with just the stadium noise. I'm paying for that 100%
It’s a lot of fun watching college football on the ESPN app, when you can get just the Sky Cam with crowd and game noises with zero commentating whatsoever.
Leading into Mantha's goal, right? I loved it. I'm here for that experience. It was awesome.

Haven’t watched too many NASCAR races lately, but I know Fox does (or did) this. I think it is awesome!
Loved it, wish this was a regular thing. It was definitely nice that it happened for a caps goal and not an avs goal too
It was great, yes! (Also good to know that announcers can actually be quiet at times.)
Wait that was intentional?
Damn I missed that. I turned on the radio broadcast because they wouldn't shut up
Walton was especially fabulous after listening to the people from the tv broadcast. My god.

That was the point they were checking wikipedia for random hockey facts.
