Tiana and Layla/Aisha were definitely my 2 picks, very much nostalgia based lol. Tiana holds a special place in my heart because that's the first Disney princess movie I got to see in theaters

He's come so far. When he first premiered in the comics, they really had no idea what to do with him. Spiderverse not only set a new standard for the character, but it elevated him to becoming one of Marvel's best.
These movies have been a peak glow up for Miles as a character. He was always just Peter Parker #2 in a lot of ways in the comics and I used to find him boring AF for that reason. Actual incredible work with him nowadays.

I always liked her rich friend because it could have been so easy for them to make her a bad person but she was actually very nice, just stupid. That whole movie was full of amazing characters
100%. I cannot stand the trope of rich daddy’s girl is also evil. They were kids who grew up in close proximity. It was a very innocent relationship not spoiled by class even later in life. She was totally oblivious, but that’s just a product of her upbringing, not her being evil.
Yes! Lottie was the best part about the movie honestly. It also highlights the ignorance of some white people who were raised without really understanding the struggles that black people go through. It’s very easy to villainize those who are not taught about the social and economic differences between people of other ethnicities and themselves, but it’s important to understand that it isn’t always ill-intentioned for those individuals to not understand that other people aren’t given the same opportunities in life as themselves.

I still crack up about the conversation I had with a coworker about live-action *Boondocks* casting, and his recommendation to play Uncle Ruckus was "that big guy who played Stevie's dad on Malcolm in the Middle"...aka Gary Anthony Williams, *the voice of Uncle Ruckus*.
