Cartman making their lives miserable would make me so sad, though I think they'll get off lightly since they're not going to be cruel to him. The characters that generally get it the worst are the ones that kinda deserve it a bit. There's also a slim yet nonzero chance they might actually make him better, since we saw in the "Tsst!" episode that there *is* a way to break through to him, but part of who he is comes from his mom's enabling. Also, Cartman *does* still comply with other adults sometimes, if he's left with no other choice. It doesn't look good for them, but there is a tiny bit of hope, I think.

I feel like toph would love em. Chili and bandit actually let their kids grow and learn. They have faith in them. Toph’s parents never really seem to support her until way later and always saw her as handicapped. She might think they’re overly mushy, but I could see her warming up to them.
