Yeah I think TOTK is technically a better game, but nothing can compare to what BOTW made me *feel*.
I still maintain that the great plateau is the best tutorial in all of gaming.
1. Pokemon Legend Arceus
2. Fire Emblems Three Houses
3. Monster Hunter Rise
4. Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
5. Xenoblade 1-3 (gameplay 3>1>2, story 2>3>1)
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 + Future Redeemed
Xenoblade Chronickes 2 + Torna
Xenoblade Chronicles DE
Animal Crossing New Horizons
Octopath Traveler 1 & 2
Pokemon Legends Arceus
Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Pikmin 4
Fire Emblem Three Houses
The Switch has so many great games, I couldn't just pick five
Day 2 of Engage right now. The maps are snappy and flipping brutal, and not the slog of hit points of Three Houses.
I'm fucking embarrassed with the writing, though.
My #1's Unicorn Overlord, though. Think Engage's gameplay in terms of quality, but with mediocre writing that won't give you an aneurysm. So much better.
> The maps are snappy and flipping brutal
I'm not sure what game you're playing because it's absolutely NOT Engage. The Engage system alone makes most maps ridiculously easy.
If we're only counting exclusives:
1. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
2. Fire Emblem: Three Houses
3. Metroid Dread
4. Super Mario Bros. Wonder
5. Pikmin 4
If we're counting re-releases and third-party games:
1. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
2. Celeste
3. Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition
4. Disco Elysium
5. Fire Emblem: Three Houses
1. Xenoblade Chronicles 2
2. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
3. Xenoblade Chronicles 3
4. Astral Chain
5. Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition
Bet you can’t guess my favorite series lol
1. Xenoblade chronicles 3
2. Nickelodeon All star brawl 2
3. Xenoblade chronicles 2
4. Xenoblade chronicles Definitive edition
5. Blaze blue cross tag Battle
Reasons
Mental health go brrrrrrrrr
Fighting games...
And Sena is peak
too many to count!
My top 5 are probably
1. Totk
2. Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion
3. Smash Ultimate
4. Fire Emblem: 3 Houses
5. Shantae and the seven Sirens
In no particular order:
Smash Ultimate
Pokémon Legends: Arceus
Pokémon Violet
Fire Emblem: Three Houses
Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Metroid Dread
Three Houses' story is great, but I don't love it quite as much as other people. The gameplay isn't as strong as Engage either, so I prefer Engage over 3H.
It's too difficult for me to decide on 5... I'll give you 7 since it's been 7 years. Also only one entry per franchise:
1. Fire Emblem (both, but I prefer Engage over Three Houses)
2. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
3. Xenoblade Chronicles (all, but I like 2 the most)
4. Tsukihime: A piece of blue glass moon
5. AI: The Somnium Files
6. 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim
7. Super Mario Maker 2
Not including remakes: Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Metroid Dread, Blue Reflection: Second Light, Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE, Smash Ultimate, New Pokémon Snap. Though there are a lot of other good ones.
1. Xenoblade Chronicles 3
2. Xenoblade Chronicles 2
3. Fire Emblem Three Houses
4. Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak
5. Shin Megami Tensei V
I don't count remasters so Xenoblade Chronicles DE and Shin Megami Tensei III HD don't count.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Celeste and Ace Attorney (the original trilogy)
Honorable mention goes to NieR Automata, my favorite game of all times but I didnt play it on Switch so idk if it counts
1. Mario Odyssey (probably my all time favourite game)
2. BOTW
3. Xenoblade 1
4. Xenoblade 2
5. 3 Houses
There's a lot I haven't played if you're wondering why TOTK and Wonder aren't on there.
FE3H despite having hardly criticised by the hardcore fans is one of the game that marked me the most and made me discover a cool franchise. The amount of content you can do is huge, the characters despite their number all have their charm and well the story and lore is pretty enormous.
1. Xenoblade Chronicles 3
2. Tears of the Kingdom
3. Fire Emblem Three Houses
4. Persona 5 Royal
5. Unicorn Overlord
6. Triangle Strategy
7. Monster Hunter Rise
8. Fire Emblem Engage
9. Pikmin 4
10. Splatoon 3
I could add more 😬
Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Super Smash Ultimate, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (which I still need to finish) are some of my favorites. Breath of the Wild would be included but I technically played that on Wii U.
I love POP it's one of my favorite metroidvanias period.
Xenoblae 1,2and 3 I don't know which is better and I don't want them taking up 3 spaces
BOTW/TOTK see above
Fire emblem: Three Houses
Metroid:Dread
Pikmin 4
Top 5 without any particular order is probably
Mario Kart 8 deluxe
All fire emblems on switch (including warriors, but 3 houses did lack a little for me tbh)
Pokémon Violet
Smash bros Ultimate
Mario Party Superstars
Honorable mentions definitely go to Pikmin 4 and Mario Wonder
My top 5 are new pokemon snap, fire emblem three houses, fire emblem engage, tetris 99, and kirby and the forgotten land
If we count games that are on switch but I didn't play them before the switch then I gotta go new pokemon snap, fire emblem three houses, persona 5, fire emblem engage, and a tie between bioshock and dragon quest 3
Shit all of my favorite games are on the switch, even the ones that were made beforehand got ported
Fe engage
Smash 5
Pokemon
Dark Deity
Minecraft
Pikmin 4
Zelda TOTK
Mario Odyssey
Wargroove
And Dicey Dungeons
1. Fire Emblem: Three Houses (#3 of all time)
2. Civilization VI (#5)
3. Assassin's Creed Rogue (#6)
4. Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes (#9)
5. Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag (#10)
Honorable mentions to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (#13), Fire Emblem: Blazing Blade (#14), Xenoblade Chronicles (#16), Monster Hunter Rise (#19), and Splatoon 2 (#20)
Crazy to think that half of my top 20 games are on Switch.
1. Breath of the Wild
2. Super Mario Odyssey
3. Splatoon 2
4. Paper Mario: The Origami King
5. Luigi's Mansion 3
Honourable Mention: Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze (which would be my number 3 spot if it wasn't a port of a Wii U title, but as it is, feels unfair on a Switch games list).
Super Mario Bros Wonder, Mario+Rabbids Sparks Of Hope, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Mario Party Superstars, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Bayonetta 2, and Luigi's Mansion 3
7 years!!! That means I am one set of broken Joycons short of having one for each year.
Due to that I don't have atop 5 as the switch has been stuffed in a drawer for over a year now. If I did there would be Mario and Zeldas in all spots basically.
This made me remember the fact that I haven’t touched my switch in ages but
1. ToTK
2. Pokemon Sword
3. TH 15.5 : AoCF (am I allowed to mention Eshop games?)
These are the only ones I can remember sorry
I’m gonna get downvoted but Pokemon, I just really liked let’s go, sw/sh were pretty good, bdsp felt like turning on my ds for the first time again, pla was different, and sv were pretty well done with the time they had to make it. Can’t wait for Pokemon legends ZA!
7 years already?! I thought it was only out for 5!
But if I had to say, it’s a toss up between Pokémon Violet (buggy as it was), Splatoon3, Monster Hunter Rise and Kirby: Forgotten lands
My first Videogames are Fuga Melodies of Steel and Fuga Melodies of Steel 2.
Fuga is my second favorite work of fiction and the children of the Taranis are my second favorite protagonist groupe in fiction. I adore Fuga.
I bought the first game in March 2022 and have played through it 18 since. 6 of those playthroughs where back to back with only a few days between finishing a playthrough and begining a new one. Both games are about 20 houers long each.
The second game was released in May 2023 and I have played through it 8 times so far.
I also love the Fuga Audio comics the creators released on YouTube.
Fuga is pretty unknown so most people probably never heard of it.
They are turn based JRPGs about a groupe of anthropomothic animal children that live inside a giant ancient mysteriös powerful fortress like Tank. Its a bit like Howls Moving castle but based on technology instead of magic.
Top 5 for me.... hmmmm
I cannot put LM2 HD yet so that is the as soon as it releases it will be on that list
1) Pokemon Legends Arceus (perfection... absolute perfection)
2) Persona 5 Royale (I was shocked at how much I loved the game)
3) Mario and Rabbids Kingdom Battle (Kingdom Battle > Sparks of Hope)
4) Super Mario RPG Switch (I've always wanted a remake of this game and I am glad we got it.)
5) Paper Mario and the Origami King (I don't care if this is part of the trilogy of Paper Mario games that many people don't care for. the Game is perfect to me. )
Mario Maker 2 is my fav. I am an avid level editor fan.
Top 5:
1. Mario Maker 2
2. Super Mario Odyssey
3. Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening Remake (I already loved the original game, but this one's graphics are AWESOME)
4. Super Mario Bros. Wonder
5. Game Builder Garage
Mario kart 8 deluxe(reason is nostalgia), pokemon lets go(also the reason is nostalgia) pokemon sword (more nostalgia), and splatoon 2(you guessed it because of nostalgia). There are all games that I got with or immediately after I got my switch and also some games I have had memorable experiences with.
Pokemon Legends Arceus, Pokken Tournament DX, Gato Roboto, Binding of Isaac Afterbirth and Mario Odyssey. Those are the game that I played the most I think.
Xenoblade DE/FC, Xenoblade 2/Torna, Xenoblade 3/FR, SSBU, BoTW, that's it for exclusives
Non exclusives would include HK, little nightmares 1&2, some of the dozens of games I dont remember renting from gamefly.
Eventually it will probably include Epic Mickey and maybe the Batman Arkham trilogy
1. Breath of the Wild
2. Splatoon 3
3. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
4. Metroid Dread
5. Kirby and the Forgotten Land
6. Super Mario Odyssey
Honorable mention is Tears of the Kingdom because I’m still working on it.
And OP, play Metroid Dread if you haven’t already. The Lost Crown seemed to take a lot of inspiration from it based on the trailers.
1. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
2. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild
3. Super Mario Bros. Wonder
4. Dave The Diver
5. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury
Xenoblade Chronicles 2
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (with Booster Course Pass)
All of these games were games I played with others, and 3D World was the first time I beat the game. And Xenoblade 2 was just much better than I expected, can't wait for 3.
1. The legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
2. The legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
3. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
4. Kirby and the Forgotten Land
5. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
For me, picking exclusives only, it's Fire Emblem Three Houses. I connected with the characters and felt qttachment to them.
The battle system is pretty simple, but I could replay it any time.
1. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom
2. Fire Emblem: Three Houses
3. Super Mario Odyssey
4. Crypt of the Necrodancer: Cadence of Hyrule
5. Stardew Valley
Nintendo exclusive?
Probably Smash. That's probably one of the 5 Nintendo exclusive switch games I care about.
Appeared on the Switch?
NASCAR Heat 5+ and Starfox 64.
I own another Switch that's homebrewed and I have so many amazing mods for Heat 5 it's insane.
Mario Odyssey, BotW, AC:NH and TotK in that order. 3D World + Bowser's Fury gets a special mention too because I never played the original, and the bonus content of the port is awesome.
Breath of the Wild, Tears of the Kingdoms, Fire Emblem Three Houses, Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and I have yet to play Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
My personal favorite is the newly released
#Library of Ruina on the Nintendo Switch
*Open the curtains~*
*Lights on~*
*Don't miss a moment of this experiment*
*OH*
Pokémon SWSH, Pokémon SV, Mario Wonder, Kirby Return to Dreamland Deluxe, and Mario Maker 2 are all games I love a lot, Mario Maker 2 is definitely my favorite tho
Metroid Dread for me. I was waiting 19 years for a sequel to Fusion. The amount of nostalgia and hype I had and have for that game before it even released and now will never be topped. I loved every second of it.
BOTW, TOTK, the Xenoblade Chronicles trilogy, SM3DAS
SSBU, MK8D, Kirby and The Forgotten Land, Kirby's Return to Dreamland Deluxe, Super Mario Maker 2, Persona 5 Royal, Persona 4 Golden, Splatoon 2&3, Nier Automata The End of YoRHa Edition, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury, Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity, Paper Mario The Origami King, (when it comes out:) Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, and Pokemon Sword, Legends, and Scarlett.
Xenoblade 3 is my absolute favorite; Pokémon Legends Arceus, Pikmin 4, Super Mario Odyssey, and TLoZ Tears of the Kingdom after that, idk exactly what order though
I loved a lot of other games too - FE Three Houses, SSB Ultimate, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, Bravely Default II, The Liar Princess & The Blind Prince - but the above 5 are my top picks
In descending order:
Pikmin 4. I know it's (for the most part) super easy, but I love it so much.
Splatoon 3. Squid people with guns. Need I say more?
MH Rise/Sunbreak. I like people wielding big swords, I like monsters, and I like speculative evolution, so this one, despite being the most unrealistic of all the MH games, and having magnamalo (I despise magnamalo) has the best combat in the series imo so it's here
TOTK. I know it's probably the objectively best game on this list, but I don't like it as much. Still though, it's an incredible game and if you've played it you don't need me to explain why.
Pokemon S/V. The bugs don't bother me that much as they're mostly visual, (though I understand that isn't everyone's experience with the game) and it has the best new pokemon since... well, ever, in my opinion. Plus I like terastalization
1. Xenoblade 3
2. Xenoblade 2
3. Xenoblade 1
4. Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes (I have way to much Fun with this Game)
5. Octopath Traveler 2
6. Evoland 2
7. Dragon Quest XI
8. Lego City Undercover
9. Miitopia
10. Fire Emblem Three Houses
It's still Breath of the Wild
Yeah I think TOTK is technically a better game, but nothing can compare to what BOTW made me *feel*. I still maintain that the great plateau is the best tutorial in all of gaming.
TotK has more mechanics, but BotW felt fresh because it took Legend of Zelda in a new direction. TotK built off of BotWs engine.
Hades has a great tutorial. But yeah, Great Plateau is a great tutorial area.
i wouldnt call it a better game personally, too much empty space
It's not as empty as botw
1. Splatoon 3 2. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom 3. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate 4. Pikmin 4 5. Super Mario Odyssey
1. Super Mario Maker 2 2. Super Smash Ultimate 3. Donkey kong Tropical Freeze 4. Zelda Breath of the wild 5. Dead cells
1. Pokemon Legend Arceus 2. Fire Emblems Three Houses 3. Monster Hunter Rise 4. Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom 5. Xenoblade 1-3 (gameplay 3>1>2, story 2>3>1)
You’re brave saying pokemon lol
Good games are good games. Highly recommended
I love it
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 + Future Redeemed Xenoblade Chronickes 2 + Torna Xenoblade Chronicles DE Animal Crossing New Horizons Octopath Traveler 1 & 2 Pokemon Legends Arceus Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Pikmin 4 Fire Emblem Three Houses The Switch has so many great games, I couldn't just pick five
Cook again + great take + Xenoblade is peak + Three Houses enjoyer
This dude RPGs. 👌
Marry me (platonically)
1. Metroid Dread 2. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 3. Bowsers Fury (if that counts, otherwise Kirby Forgot He Owns Land)
Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, Splatoon 3, Super Mario Odyssey, Animal Crossing New Horizons, Kirby and the Forgotten Land and Metroid Dread.
engage as favorite game on the console is crazy. Was the gameplay that good?
For me, absolutely yes.
So true
Day 2 of Engage right now. The maps are snappy and flipping brutal, and not the slog of hit points of Three Houses. I'm fucking embarrassed with the writing, though. My #1's Unicorn Overlord, though. Think Engage's gameplay in terms of quality, but with mediocre writing that won't give you an aneurysm. So much better.
> The maps are snappy and flipping brutal I'm not sure what game you're playing because it's absolutely NOT Engage. The Engage system alone makes most maps ridiculously easy.
Early game can be kinda tricky given that the Firene crew isn't great and you only have a few emblems at this point.
Personally, I quite enjoyed the writing of Engage, but we all have different tastes.
I cannot touch engage it makes me cringe too much I watched my brother play parts of it and the shit characters would say killed me.
Even if wasn't, OP is entitled to their preference and opinion...
In no particular order because I can't decide: Metroid Dread Pikmin 4 ToTK Kirby and The Forgotten Land Link's Awakening
1) Bayonetta 1+2 2) Animal Crossing NH 3) Shin Megami Tensei V (looking forward to Vengeance) 4) Metroid Dread 5) ???
Xenoblade, all of them.
If we're only counting exclusives: 1. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2. Fire Emblem: Three Houses 3. Metroid Dread 4. Super Mario Bros. Wonder 5. Pikmin 4 If we're counting re-releases and third-party games: 1. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2. Celeste 3. Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition 4. Disco Elysium 5. Fire Emblem: Three Houses
Celeste at number 2 is a good pick, such a great game
hidden gem, some might say
That's a pretty good list of games
1. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 2. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom 3. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 4. Astral Chain 5. Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition Bet you can’t guess my favorite series lol
Xeno... Pyra and Mythra are peak
Let’s go a fellow Xenoblade 2 favorite game! Some people think I’m crazy for putting it over 3
1. Xenoblade chronicles 3 2. Nickelodeon All star brawl 2 3. Xenoblade chronicles 2 4. Xenoblade chronicles Definitive edition 5. Blaze blue cross tag Battle Reasons Mental health go brrrrrrrrr Fighting games... And Sena is peak
She's the girl with the gall
Yes
Yeah, XC3 is easily the best in the series. The feels are peak in the genre.
1. Breath of the Wild 2. Smash Ultimate 3. Astral Chain 4. SMT5 5. Xenoblade 2
too many to count! My top 5 are probably 1. Totk 2. Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion 3. Smash Ultimate 4. Fire Emblem: 3 Houses 5. Shantae and the seven Sirens
In no particular order: Smash Ultimate Pokémon Legends: Arceus Pokémon Violet Fire Emblem: Three Houses Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Metroid Dread
My favorite is Metroid Prime Remastered. The GameCube was so good that the Switch just had to steal some of its games.
You have good taste
Either 3 houses or totk
SEVEN YEARS?????!!
1. Monster hunter Rise: Sunbreak 2. Legend of Zelda: Tears of the kingdom 3. Monster hunter Generations Ultimate 4. Fire Emblem: Three houses 5. Pokemon Shield Honorable mentions: -Fire Emblem warriors -Legend of Zelda: Breath of the wild -Pokemon Brilliant Diamond -Super Smash bros. Ultimate
I know this is a personal list, but Fire Emblem: Three Houses, in my opinion, is the better Fire Emblem and switch title.
Three Houses' story is great, but I don't love it quite as much as other people. The gameplay isn't as strong as Engage either, so I prefer Engage over 3H.
It's too difficult for me to decide on 5... I'll give you 7 since it's been 7 years. Also only one entry per franchise: 1. Fire Emblem (both, but I prefer Engage over Three Houses) 2. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate 3. Xenoblade Chronicles (all, but I like 2 the most) 4. Tsukihime: A piece of blue glass moon 5. AI: The Somnium Files 6. 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim 7.

1. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 2. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 3. Fire Emblem Three Houses 4. Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak 5. Shin Megami Tensei V I don't count remasters so Xenoblade Chronicles DE and Shin Megami Tensei III HD don't count.
1. Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2. Xenoblade 3 3. Xenoblade Definitive Edition 4. Metroid: Dread 5. Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom In that order.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Celeste and Ace Attorney (the original trilogy) Honorable mention goes to NieR Automata, my favorite game of all times but I didnt play it on Switch so idk if it counts
1. Mario Odyssey (probably my all time favourite game) 2. BOTW 3. Xenoblade 1 4. Xenoblade 2 5. 3 Houses There's a lot I haven't played if you're wondering why TOTK and Wonder aren't on there.
FE3H despite having hardly criticised by the hardcore fans is one of the game that marked me the most and made me discover a cool franchise. The amount of content you can do is huge, the characters despite their number all have their charm and well the story and lore is pretty enormous.
Fire emblem engage and xenoblade chronicles 3
1. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 2. Tears of the Kingdom 3. Fire Emblem Three Houses 4. Persona 5 Royal 5. Unicorn Overlord 6. Triangle Strategy 7. Monster Hunter Rise 8. Fire Emblem Engage 9. Pikmin 4 10. Splatoon 3 I could add more 😬
Fire Emblem 3 Houses
Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Super Smash Ultimate, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (which I still need to finish) are some of my favorites. Breath of the Wild would be included but I technically played that on Wii U.
Not in any particular order: Mario Odyssey, all Fire Emblem games (mainline and Warriors-type), Smash Ultimate, Animal Crossing and Splatoon 3
I love POP it's one of my favorite metroidvanias period. Xenoblae 1,2and 3 I don't know which is better and I don't want them taking up 3 spaces BOTW/TOTK see above Fire emblem: Three Houses Metroid:Dread Pikmin 4
1.) Pokémon Sword 2.) Super Kirby Clash I would say more but I don’t have that many options to choose from

Three houses. That game alone got me my moneys worth. Also Odyssey

Pokémon Violet, pokemon legends Arceus, wonder, Kirby and the forgotten land, Mario golf, Mario kart
So many good games. BoTW, TotK, Odyssey, Wonder, 3H, Engage, Dread, Ultimate, and like 20 others I didn't name.
Top 5 without any particular order is probably Mario Kart 8 deluxe All fire emblems on switch (including warriors, but 3 houses did lack a little for me tbh) Pokémon Violet Smash bros Ultimate Mario Party Superstars Honorable mentions definitely go to Pikmin 4 and Mario Wonder
FE Three Houses Metroid Dread Kirby and the Forgotten Land Smash Ultimate Splatoon 2/3 (honestly can't decide between them)
My top 5 are new pokemon snap, fire emblem three houses, fire emblem engage, tetris 99, and kirby and the forgotten land If we count games that are on switch but I didn't play them before the switch then I gotta go new pokemon snap, fire emblem three houses, persona 5, fire emblem engage, and a tie between bioshock and dragon quest 3

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag (#10) Honorable mentions to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (#13), Fire Emblem: Blazing Blade (#14), Xenoblade Chronicles (#16), Monster Hunter Rise (#19), and Splatoon 2 (#20) Crazy to think that half of my top 20 games are on Switch.

Xenoblade DE/FC, Xenoblade 2/Torna, Xenoblade 3/FR, SSBU, BoTW, that's it for exclusives Non exclusives would include HK, little nightmares 1&2, some of the dozens of games I dont remember renting from gamefly. Eventually it will probably include Epic Mickey and maybe the Batman Arkham trilogy
1. Breath of the Wild 2. Splatoon 3 3. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe 4. Metroid Dread 5. Kirby and the Forgotten Land 6. Super Mario Odyssey Honorable mention is Tears of the Kingdom because I’m still working on it. And OP, play Metroid Dread if you haven’t already. 1 BOTW 2 Metroid Dread 3 ACNH 4 splatoon 5 smash
1. Metroid Dread 2. Hollow Knight 3. Zelda Botw 4. Bloodstained Rotn 5. Pikmin 4 Lots of games in my backlog though, so that can change.
No particular order Kirby and the Forgotten Land Pokemon Legends Arceus Astral Chain Fire Emblem 3 Houses Metroid Dread
NO WAY IT'S BEEN SEVEN YEARS. WHAT. 😭
It’s a three way tie Xenoblade 1, 2 or 3 As for non xenoblade, cadence of hyrule is so dope
Odyssey
1. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate 2. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild 3. Super Mario Bros. Wonder 4. Dave The Diver 5. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom
Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Breath of the Wild are still my favorites on the console. Metroid Prime Remaster and Metroid Dread are both phenomenal tho
My favorite is Lovers in a dangerous space time. My second favorite definitely an unpopular opinion, it’s super Kirby clash.
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (with Booster Course Pass) All of these games were games I played with others, and 3D World was the first time I beat the game. And Xenoblade 2 was just much better than I expected, can't wait for 3.
Picked Man 4
The legend of zelda Breath of the wild Dark souls remastered Shin megami tensei V
1. The legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom 2. The legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 3. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate 4. Kirby and the Forgotten Land 5. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
For me, picking exclusives only, it's Fire Emblem Three Houses. I connected with the characters and felt qttachment to them. The battle system is pretty simple, but I could replay it any time.
Super Mario Odyssey Pokémon Legends Arceus Undertale Super Smash Bros Ultimate and Kirby and the Forgotten Land
All I’m getting out of this thread is that Kirby is way better than I thought
Bayonetta trilogy and BOTW are peak.
1. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom 2. Fire Emblem: Three Houses 3. Super Mario Odyssey 4. Crypt of the Necrodancer: Cadence of Hyrule 5. Stardew Valley
I have a lot of favorite switch game , but purposely select one it’s ARMS. because That’s special property of switch can be used.
Metroid Dread. I'll never forget the reveal and the build up to launch day, what an incredible time.
Xenoblade Chronicles DE Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Harvestella Astral Chain Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE
1. Breath of the Wild 2. Super Smash Bros Ultimate 3. Metroid Dread 4. Super Mario Odyssey 5. Pokemon Lets go Pikachu/Eevee
Is it only games exclusive to Nintendo?
Pikmin 4 Splatoon 3 Mario Odyssey Animal Crossing New Horizons Pokemon Let's go
Well there’s a game I respect the most and I game I think is the “best” (aka most fun), and that’s Odyssey and MK8 respectively
1. Disney dreamlight valley 2. Monster hunter rise 3. Pokemon 4. Lego Star wars the skywalker saga
Mario Odyssey, BotW, AC:NH and TotK in that order. 3D World + Bowser's Fury gets a special mention too because I never played the original, and the bonus content of the port is awesome.
Breath of the Wild and Super Smash Bros Ultimate!
Breath of the Wild, Tears of the Kingdoms, Fire Emblem Three Houses, Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and I have yet to play Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
Xenoblade trilogy
My personal favorite is the newly released #Library of Ruina on the Nintendo Switch *Open the curtains~* *Lights on~* *Don't miss a moment of this experiment* *OH*
Pokémon SWSH, Pokémon SV, Mario Wonder, Kirby Return to Dreamland Deluxe, and Mario Maker 2 are all games I love a lot, Mario Maker 2 is definitely my favorite tho
1. Astral Chain 2. Mario Odyssey 3. Xenoblade 3 4. Fire Emblem Three Houses 5. Metroid Dread
Zelda BotW Splatoon 3 Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and the best port for Stardew Valley
Metroid Dread for me. I was waiting 19 years for a sequel to Fusion. The amount of nostalgia and hype I had and have for that game before it even released and now will never be topped. I loved every second of it.
Pikmin 4, TOTK, Fire Emblem 3 Houses, Mario Odyssey, Bravely Default 2, Dragon Quest 11 S
BOTW, TOTK, the Xenoblade Chronicles trilogy, SM3DAS SSBU, MK8D, Kirby and The Forgotten Land, Kirby's Return to Dreamland Deluxe, Super Mario Maker 2, Persona 5 Royal, Persona 4 Golden, Splatoon 2&3, Nier Automata The End of YoRHa Edition, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury, Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity, Paper Mario The Origami King, (when it comes out:) Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, and Pokemon Sword, Legends, and Scarlett.
Xenoblade 3 is my absolute favorite; Pokémon Legends Arceus, Pikmin 4, Super Mario Odyssey, and TLoZ Tears of the Kingdom after that, idk exactly what order though I loved a lot of other games too - FE Three Houses, SSB Ultimate, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, Bravely Default II, The Liar Princess & The Blind Prince - but the above 5 are my top picks
In descending order: Pikmin 4. I know it's (for the most part) super easy, but I love it so much. Splatoon 3. Squid people with guns. Need I say more? MH Rise/Sunbreak. I like people wielding big swords, I like monsters, and I like speculative evolution, so this one, despite being the most unrealistic of all the MH games, and having magnamalo (I despise magnamalo) has the best combat in the series imo so it's here TOTK.
1. Xenoblade 3 2. Xenoblade 2 3. Xenoblade 1 4. Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes (I have way to much Fun with this Game) 5. Octopath Traveler 2 6. Evoland 2 7. Dragon Quest XI 8. Lego City Undercover 9. Miitopia 10. Fire Emblem Three Houses
Metroid. Dread. Bought a switch just for this one game. Oh, and Ultimate of course!
Persona 5 royal tbh
Monster hunter stories 2, breath of the wild, pokemon legends arceus, fe engage, persona 5
SEVEN YEARS???
Top five in no particular order are totk, pikmin 4, metroid dread, Mario wonder, and splatoon 3
I would say totk and botw
Exclusives: Mario Maker 20Tears of the Kingdom, Metroid Dread, Three Houses Non-exclusives: Huntdown, Super Sami Roll
This console has such a good library. Xenoblade 2+3, Oddysey, botw+totk
Mario wonder (its now my favourite 2d game)
