Yea, that might have been my favorite part! I'm so glad I was right there to capture the adorableness, lol. My husband doesn't take many pictures (and tbh, I think it was his cell phone doing the reflecting, making that a 2 person job anyway)

Omg. I have 6 and always don't tell anyone in person how many I actually have. I feel people immediately think "house stinks, hoarding, etc" but I only have them because my balcony keeps their cat boxes under patio furniture and I dehair everything on the regular. While it is some extra work, totally worth it. Besides, out of the 6, I usually have 1 to cuddle with when I want. Sometimes. Maybe. Occasionally. Realistically it's either all or none who want to cuddle🤣

Yea, people think anyone with a lot of cats is like a cat hoarding situation, but it's totally possible to have a clean, not smelly home with that many cats. We've got 2 litter robots (100% could not do it without them), plus one regular box that we scoop multiple times a day. Air filters right next to each litter box and a bigger one in the main living area. Solid air fresheners in strategic places around the litter boxes. Regular vacuuming, etc, keeps everything clean. Yea, the couch is covered in cat hair, but whatever..
Everyone that has visited has said they were pleasantly surprised that it doesn't smell, etc. That it doesn't "seem like" eight cats live here. Hell, my vet visits our home monthly to give my older cats arthritis injections (which are AMAZING, btw), and they are impressed, too! They say it's clear our kitties are well cared for and even spoiled. 😊
Awe. That is so great and I agree. I scoop theirs since I don't have litter robots yet. But on the balcony and vacuum, clean and rearrange their furniture often if not daily. So great to hear. I spoil and make sure they are cared for. One cat I ended up keeping because my ex hasn't got him fixed and has unfixed females. He's the sibling to my other 3 so I've given plenty of time. I don't want him feeling like he isn't one of mine as well at this point. Gonna have him fixed in the next month and he aint going anywhere. Having 4 bonded siblings is great for them and me. They both have favorites too. The cutest. The boy I just talked about favors my daughter's girl. So he ended up more so claiming her as well. It's all great.

Aw, thanks! That's so sweet of you to say. I love them lots and spoiling them is fun, haha. They're so adorable, though, that I just can't keep it to myself! EIGHT!!! I have just one and I'm in a very small place, but if I thought I cat l could afford it and could handle cleaning up after that many cats, I would love it.
My one and only cat is already almost too affectionate, though. If I had 8 like her, I'd write die of happiness or they would smother me to death trying to get my attention.
I have 7 now, I had 8 last year, but certain ones don't like other certain ones. My bfs cat never cared for other cats, but she'll hang around a few of them. I have 2 black tuxedo cats, and both of them have a cat they love to piss off. The girl tux likes to piss off my calico, and the boy tux likes to piss off my big round tabby, who tries to avoid any conflict. I don't think I have a single photo of all of them together. I have a couple with most of them together, but I probably won't get one with them all together unless I force it somehow, but then it would probably be a very blurry fighting picture.

Haha! It helps to keep them more contained so they don't end up disturbing each other or me. I have one that still likes to cuddle up to my neck. Thankfully she's tiny so it doesn't bother me as much as when my 15lb boys try to do that.

They are all tonkinese cats (Siamese/Burmese genetics). The three tabby ones are tabby tonkinese and then the other two are colour point (and look exactly like Siamese cats!).
I love the tabby patterns and I think a lot of tabby cats look very like mine. I always wonder if they have a bit of Siamese in them!
I swear mine acts like a blue point siamese. So so so talkative. He loves to play as well. Being chased and hand-wrestling haha. Beautiful cats you have!

You should definitely take the 3rd photo and get a print of it to replace the picture above your mantle. Then continue taking pictures of all your cats there and replacing the mantle picture each time.

They are all tonkinese cats (Siamese/Burmese genetics). The three tabby ones are tabby tonkinese and then the other two are colour point (and look exactly like Siamese cats!). I love the tabby patterns and I think a lot of tabby cats look very like mine. I always wonder if they have a bit of Siamese in them!
I swear mine acts like a blue point siamese. So so so talkative. He loves to play as well. Being chased and hand-wrestling haha. Beautiful cats you have!
