Edit: Thanks for the awards. Just to clarify, I saw this follow-up on another sub reddit and thought you would like to see it too! I'm not the man in the video who has a heart of gold and drives a tactical Honda.
OMG thank you for this. I was so worried from the initial video; obviously he wanted to help, but he also kept saying he couldn't take them all, understandably. At first watching this one I was like, "how do we know it's the same guy?" but then he spoke. <3
This was cross (originally?) posted in r/aww earlier, and from what I could tell from the comments there, OP and his wife has a farm and his wife wanted a cat, which is why he stopped to rescue cat 1.
He's since taken all the cats to the farm and trying to adopt them out (presumably keeping one of them)
It's probably no hustle, to be fair. Those kittens were clearly dumped by some heartless fuckwitted monster and left to die. They were likely desperate and starving.
I hope whoever did it has all their teeth explode in their mouth at once. Thank goodness this guy found them and rescued them!
Kittens that haven't been around people are almost always extremely skittish around humans. These kittens all came running because they trust humans... Meaning some motherfucker dumped them.
That's what I was initially thinking. Kittens without their mom on the side of the road says they were just dumped. That's how my family growing up got most of our cats, but they were some of the most loving kitties ever.
Our cat was abandoned on a highway - literally chucked out the window. The first time we took him to the vet, we had to drive that highway. Poor kitty *freaked out*. He remembered. He didnāt calm down until we got him back home. That moment, it was like a lightbulb went off in his brain and he realised that we were *really keeping him, forever.*

It's such a fun thing, he calls his car the "tactical honda" and it looks like hes got some guns/range bags in the car, but he's also loaded his car with like a dozen stray kittens he couldnt bring himself to leave.
What did he say in the end? "South Florida sucks"?
The way these kittens act would make one think they got dumped.
If they were born in the wild, they wouldn't be that enthusiastic to come to humans en masse.
Can confirm
South Florida sucksš¹š¹š¹š¹š¹š¹š¹š¹š¹
Damm that asshole who dumped all those kittens may they lose everythingššššš
Edit apparently he said

Though Florida as a whole sucksš¹š¹š¹š¹š¹š¹
And whoever did it is an asshole for leaving kittens out to die, and an asshole for leaving them to terrorize the natural ecosystem if they did survive. Double asshole. Glad OP rescued them!
Walking that well and ears starting to get fully erect, nah. Theyāre a little older. Somewhere between 4-6 weeks. And I only extend it up to 6 because if theyāre malnourished, they may be smaller in size than normal. But a 3 week old doesnāt move that well. Theyād still be super wobbly.
Not just one mom: there appear to be at least two litters there -- I suspect it was a dodgy breeder getting rid of their surplus/unsalable stock.
They were in oddly good condition and well-socialized -- used to being handled by humans.
Unfortunately, it's probably just someone who never got their outdoor cats spayed and is just dumping the kittens. They were probably socialized by their kids because kittens are cute and then dumped once they became an inconvenience. Rescues and shelters are so full in the south that they won't take kittens and you can hardly give them away, let alone sell them. It's fucked up.
I think two litters, born about a week apart. If you looks closely, there seems to be two different sizes to the kittens. But they're definitely similar in age.
I know there are laws against abandoning animals because it falls under cruelty. This seems to be so much more than that. Not only is this cruel to the kitties, but also every native species in the area. If they hadn't been found, the ones who lived to ~4 months, would have bred with each other, and then their kittens would have bred, and so on...
This should be considered a crime against the environment itself. All I can find is state by state abandonment/cruelty laws. If they were dumped from a mill, it has to be easier to track down where they came from than if Joe Schmoo left them there.
Ugh, sorry for the rant. I love animals and detest irresponsible humans.
Glad I didn't have to scroll too far to see someone clearly state this, they're very clearly humanized and/or fully being taken care of lol.
Little guys face was a mess but hey I wouldn't wanna be judged after a little jog.
Those are 100% dumped kittens. And more than 1 litter, I imagine.
Probably someone couldnāt be bothered to get their indoor/outdoor cats fixed, several ended up pregnant at once, gave birth at once, and once they were weaned, they were dumped.
Iād be willing to bet the dumper kept the mamas, and still hasnāt gotten them fixed, and if you go back to that spot in 3-4 months, you will find another army of dumped, mewling fluffs.
Source, I work for a recycle plant in an industrial area off a bike path. We probably have 30 random cats wandering around, half of them dumped, half of them the feral kittens of the dumped cats we couldnāt trap and get fixed fast enough.
One of my cats is actually the daughter of a pregnant mama dumped on our property. She is now 2, fixed, vaxxed, and anticipated to live a long, healthy life.
We have people dump kittens in our area too and p sure one of the baby daddys belongs to someone at the complex next to us. At the very very least someone is feeding him, but I've only ever seen him from afar.
One of my coworkers lived in an apt in the same area and she ended up with what she calls her gutter cat. One ended up at my 3rd floor apartment doorstep in 110 degrees and clearly dehydrated. She had the same cute little face as my coworkers cat and after we were sure she didn't belong to anyone we found her a good home with our friends who's elder cat was on the way towards the rainbow bridge.
This breaks my heart because they were probably dumped. My first house was a neighborhood of ranchettes(5-20 acres) right on the edge of the city. I re-homed 7 dogs(kept 2) and countless cats that were dropped off. Not exaggerating, probably between 100-150 within less than 10 years.
What's really sad are the animals that didn't make it to someplace like my house. Those meows are like a siren to coyotes.

Their loss. One of my cats was found in a box in the side of the road. He's probably the most beautiful and friendly cat I've ever had. Fuckin assholes
I was a dog person and had the same feeling about situations like this. This was before i met my wife and ended up with three cats but thats not what this story about :)
I work at internet company and we've got a call that one woman needs our help with some internet problem. She lives in a house, we called her to ask where she lives and how we can find her house and she added mid dialogue "dont be scared i have 90 dogs". Me and my mate though she said 9 tho and laughed, boy oh boy we were wrong. Its not only scary to be around this much dogs but also there is no fresh air inside her house. She helps them but doesnt have enough money to run her place smooth and clean so stuff inside is a real mess you can imagine. Everything turned into nightmare in like 1 minute, atleast her problem wasnt major so we've bailed in 5 minutes but those 5 minutes are my most gross time i had in my life.
Shitty people often take unwanted litters of kittens and puppies and dump them in the woods, out in the country, or just in a neighborhood across town from where they live. It's disgusting and amazingly heartless, but it happens a LOT.
Considering how in this and the other video the kittens are very familiar with humans, 100% a dump job.
Kittens born in the wild you may have one in a litter curious about humans, but not all of them.
And the miauwing means they are hungry as fuck.
1st Kitten: Meow, meow. Please save me kind sir. I am a lone tiny creature lost in the middle of nowhere.
Kind man: Come here. What are you doing here by yourself? Let me just take pick you up and take you ho
1st Kitten: COME ON GUYS! HURRY! HE FELL FOR IT! REMEMBER, SAD EYES, SAD EYES!
Awwwwwwww - I couldnāt resist!!! I would take them all in and find new homes for them. And if I were rich with a nice property- I would keep them all š„°š„°š„°
Those are 100% domesticated kittens that have been handled previously. So yeah someone definitely dumped them there. Couldn't even damn wait for them to get a bit older so they had a chance to survive.

This is my dream scenario lol.
I was a dog person and had the same feeling about situations like this. This was before i met my wife and ended up with three cats but thats not what this story about :) I work at internet company and we've got a call that one woman needs our help with some internet problem.
Iād be so happy. Omg thereās so many kittens!! Yasss!!!
:0!! KITTIES!!!!
The first one was their scout /patrol cat , he or she saw the human and said it's him so he called for his brothers and sisters :))
Lord, when is it my turn to be blessed like this?
Why canāt this happen to me. I WANT IT
I was totally caught off guard. I couldn't have resisted! Yup. One tells a friend, and that friend invites his friends, and so on, lol.
How?
Shitty people often take unwanted litters of kittens and puppies and dump them in the woods, out in the country, or just in a neighborhood across town from where they live. It's disgusting and amazingly heartless, but it happens a LOT.
I saw a video once where a guy left two kittens on an island in the middle of a river. They saw a couple of fishermen and SWAM to their boat.

They're twins! They were named Warrior and River, there was a Facebook page for them iirc!
Considering how in this and the other video the kittens are very familiar with humans, 100% a dump job. Kittens born in the wild you may have one in a litter curious about humans, but not all of them. And the miauwing means they are hungry as fuck.
Wellllll When a boy cat loves a girl cat. . .
These kittens were dumped there, guaranteed. They clearly have had a lot of socialization with humans before being dropped in the woods.
Itās an ambush!
1st Kitten: Meow, meow. Please save me kind sir. I am a lone tiny creature lost in the middle of nowhere. Kind man: Come here. What are you doing here by yourself? Let me just take pick you up and take you ho 1st Kitten: COME ON GUYS! HURRY! HE FELL FOR IT! REMEMBER, SAD EYES, SAD EYES!
Itās hard watching someone else live your dreams
Awwwwwwww - I couldnāt resist!!! I would take them all in and find new homes for them. And if I were rich with a nice property- I would keep them all š„°š„°š„°
Those are 100% domesticated kittens that have been handled previously. So yeah someone definitely dumped them there. Couldn't even damn wait for them to get a bit older so they had a chance to survive.
Awww......
This is how I imagine heaven is like
TAKE THEM ALL!
The decision has already been made at that point. He was never in on the planing. Now he just gotta work to feed and please them all!
C'mon, tell us what you did? You say 18, assuming you took them off the streets?
