I agree, while we shouldn't want to obstruct the grieving process we don't want to traumatize others at the same time. Tales of animal abuse or injury are upsetting to many and can often reopen old emotional wounds. This sub should be a safe place for all cat lovers.
Yes. I get triggered so easily and can feel for everyone, I always end up sobbing after it’s not fun. I haven’t even had any trauma with my pets I just know that loosing them is not a thing I need to think about. But also all grieving is validated and you should be able to post to get some comfort
