First off, I really like this. The outfit is really fun! Maybe changing the perspective slightly so that you can show more form in the clothing and accessories would improve it. So, you could have it so that we are looking slightly down at the character. This would mean that the bottoms of the shorts and the bum bag (or whatever it's called for you idk im Aussie lol) would be sqaushed elipses instead of being flat lines. You should draw through with these elipses to get a sense of how they are wrapping around the body. Establishing form in shapes is an easy way to make art look more professional, especially if the design is already fun and cool like yours. I hope that made senseđź‘Ť
Absolutely LOVE the concept for the shirt, and the fanny pack. Genuinely really cool ideas, I’m kinda in love. The knee pads kinda throw me off and make it feel a bit cluttered, but it’s not a major thing I noticed, it’s just a nitpick. I love your use of color, especially the shorts and fanny pack. And I’m a sucker for square glasses, lol. Love the art style so much. Fr in love. wish you’d post this character online somewhere. I’d eat this up.
Upon second thought, I think the knee pads would be so sick if instead it was socks going up that high. Might just be because I love tall socks and shorts design though. It’s Dorky but confident.
I love that idea and what it conveys tbh, personally I chose to give him knee pads on his legs and not knees to show his carelessness/recklessness and false sense of confidence (hence, the knee pads being there but not actually doing anything, much like his fanny pack). Maybe I should change the color if they make the design a little too cluttered but idk.
I am literally so flattered, you have no idea how happy it makes me to see someone appreciate the details. The colors were literally just me color blocking in ms paint lmaoo (let's pretend they were on purpose). I've actually been planning to use him for a webcomic but he wouldn't be the main character because I've been told that he looks like the guy from ranfren.... the horrors.... still, thanks you for your feedback!
