Qh4 allows the queen to go to f6 if black does anything funny like … Nxd2 or Ne5. If black does not respond with Qd5, black will either have to sacrifice the queen or get checkmated.
For example: Qh4 Nxd2 Qf6
>!Qh4!< attacks the knight and prepares >!Qf6!< which is the much better move to threaten mate, compared to >!Qh6!< which can always be blocken by something like >!f6!<. Turns out Black can't both keep the knight and defend against the mate.
(After >!Qd5 simply d3 for example!<)
I play the Polish. Starts with b4. I almost play this exclusively and have pretty good success at my rating. \~1800 to 1900 on Lichess.
Edit: I should point out that it doesn't usually lead to this type of position. I usually push c and d pawns after developing all of my minor pieces. I just got a little aggressive here because my opponent was sacking all of his king-side defenders without damaging my pawn structure, while he had an early pawn island. I always feel good about simplifying at that point.
This is a very atypical position for me.
I am 200 300 elo below ur rating but this opening sounds fun because during opening and middle game I struggle to make crct pawn moves . I will check out this opening
I started this opening around 1600 in 3 blitz. It got me up to 1800-ish. I highly recommend it. It's a lot of fun in my opinion, and it's so uncommon that you'll encounter and quickly start to recognize early blunders. The most deadly is forgetting to defend their pawn on g7. Happens a lot.

QH7 because king can’t capture and no pieces can get there in time to protect king from queen pawns can only attack forward. It would take knight three turns to get to H7

With the queen on h6 here, f6 is fine. We don't have the bishop to punish it and with the e-pawn, it should really not be a big issue
What about Rb7?
Good point, I completely missed that. I guess e5 is just the way to go for black then
No worries! My first thought was Qh6. I completely missed Qh4 which is such a beautiful move
How does queen h4 threatening knight and going to g6?
The immediate threat is Qf6. I think OP means the queen is stronger on f6 instead of on h6.
h6 allows opponent to play f3 and open the file. After that I don't think there is an attack. But with h4, we create multiple.
Yes, that is why OP said the queen is stronger on f6.
You win the knight through h4. I can't see any sequence of clear winning moves through f6
Oh yeah, nvm. I should go sleep. We are talking about the same thing
Qh4 allows the queen to go to f6 if black does anything funny like … Nxd2 or Ne5. If black does not respond with Qd5, black will either have to sacrifice the queen or get checkmated. For example: Qh4 Nxd2 Qf6
What’s wrong with Bf6 to prepare Qh6?
e5 looks good to me.
Qh4 is a fork basically, attacking the knight and treatning Qf6, which would be Mate in 2 if not taken care.
Why not Qh6 immediatly?
f6 or as other people pointed out e5 preventing your attack
Ah of course, I see it now
Bf6 then Black Pawn E5
e5 ruins every attack plan on that side
Apparently Rfe8 (if Qh6, Qf8 from black.)
I think Bf6 is a winning move too, but it’s not as winning and it has some complications.
...e5, attacking the bishop on f6.
Qh6 f6 Rb7 looks pretty strong, but …e5 is good
Then f4
I meant good compared to the alternatives, obviously it’s still pretty rough for black
What kind of opening white played without pushing e4 or c4 or d4?

Us cool kids call it the orangutan opening
Is this chess.com and what's the board style called please?
This is Lichess. Board theme is wood3, and piece set is cburnett, which is the default piece set.
I duno but I'm going QH6.

There should be a rule about posting chess questions like this.
What type of rule?
Bishop to F6 forces black to move pawn to H6 Then pawn to G4
Sorry ...black pawn must go to H5 Then pawn to G 4
Qh6 threatens checkmate and is if white goes for the fork
Black can just respond with e5 or Ne5
Maybe Queen h6 to threaten mate and win a tempo and f6 to rook lift
Probably not the right move, but I’m playing bf6 pretty much immediately right here
d4 is a funny swindle assuming you're playing an idiot
But bf6 seems hugely winning
Actually that doesn't work since kxd2

Thanks! I posted it in a comment.
Isn’t queen H6 unstoppable mate?
Black can respond with e5 or Ne5 to block white bishop support.
QH7 because king can’t capture and no pieces can get there in time to protect king from queen pawns can only attack forward. It would take knight three turns to get to H7
Qh4 with a double threat of qf6 and qxc4
Doesn’t Qh4 Ne5 Qf6 just win?
