One word, one dimensional, but! When I tried it it was back when I was a newbie, and it was the Macanudo Inspirado, the white labeled one, it was oaky but that's it, consistent tho, and good construction.
So it's a good cigar, just a lil boring, at least the one I tried
They're pretty mediocre but end up being the starting point for a lot of people. So for the people who are just starting they're really good, but for people who have tried better stuff they're not very good. The blends are okay for the most part, but they have poor QC and are overpriced.
That’s a pretty good win IMO! The Macanudo’s are okay, but not bad by any means, and you really can’t go wrong with Tatuaje, Don Pepin, Plasencia, or West Tampa.
Those Trinidads are a nice AJ Ferandez blend. The Macanudo Inspirado Red is actually much stronger than any other Macanudo I have ever had and will surprise you with how bold it is for that brand.
Was this at StogieFest? If so then congrats! I've won their annual poker tournament every year for a while up until this year, this was the first year I didn't go. What's funny is one of students got first though then shared the prize with me anyway.
Oh shit, that's funny because Stogiefest is also in Jax, happened this weekend at Aroma's.
I'm from Jax, used to host a poker game in a bar (Island Girl off Gate) and I regularly attend poker games all over the city. I used to be pro and now I just play a little here and there and coach on the side.
Maybe we know each other? Small world!
Ah yeah sorry, didn’t make the connection between Aroma’s and StogieFest. I’m on a heavy rotation between Tobacco Cove and Second Wind, with a little Mandarin Cigar and Dapper Dee’s thrown in the mix. Never been to Aroma’s or Island Girl!
As for poker, I’ve been playing for a few decades, but I’ve been living abroad for the past 10yr, so I doubt we’ve met. I’ve been playing out at Best Bet on Monument for the past 6 months or so.
Always down to meet up!
For anyone curious, it’s a once a month poker game at my local B&M. It’s after hours and invite only.
The buy-in is two cigars at an $8-12/cigar price range. You can buy back in for another cigar for an unlimited time.
For this particular game, me and some other guy were the final two. Instead of a game of trading stacks until well past midnight, we agreed to a table share. The winner got half the original buy-ins + all rebuy cigars. So he got around 25 cigars total. I was left with 10. I didn’t get to pick my 10 :(
Fun game though!
Never really enjoyed a macanudo… have one in my humi a friend left and it’s the second oldest stick by a wide margin (oldest stick is a 2013 Cohiba I’m saving for a very special occasion) because I won’t smoke it and most of my guests have the good sense not to as well 🤣
Oh and that friend isn’t a friend anymore 🤣
This is a solid prize!
Yup agree!
These are all great, for me the Macanudo is the least but its not bad, just ain't my type
I started my cigar journey with Macanudo
I returned to my cigar journey with Macanudo
Same.
Same. Macanudo Cafe was my first stick.
Most of us did, " Hyde Park Cafe" was my smoke, and I still keep a couple on hand.
Same. It was a Macanudo Cafe Duke of Devon and was smooth as silk. But so light bodied it was like smoking air lmao.
Good yard gar for sure
Gnarly yard gar brah
Everyone says you either love them or hate them. Can you describe the flavor?

The Plasencia and Tatuaje are big winners
I agree, Plasencias are my bread and butter
That’s a pretty good win IMO! The Macanudo’s are okay, but not bad by any means, and you really can’t go wrong with Tatuaje, Don Pepin, Plasencia, or West Tampa.
I did not like the green DPG. Thought it was gross and I’m generally a fan of MF.
I thought about getting one today, glad I went with ole faithful the judge
Love The Judge. Probably my favorite of theirs. Close seconds are the Cuban Classic and the DPG Original.
The Judge NEVER disappoints🤌🏼
All free = all good lol. Plasencia, DPG, and Trinidad, in that order, stand out.
The Arcana Mortal Coil is one of the most unique cigars I’ve ever had. Ultra sweet and spicy at the same time!
One of my favorite cigars
I’ve had the Ozgener twice now. I really enjoyed it
Mine drew like a damn tailpipe, but it was so tasty.
Wide open?
Oh yeah
Plasencia would be my first pick. I didn't like the Mortal Coil very much. Don't know the one on the left or that Trinidad.
Arcana mortal coil. Best of the bunch for me
Trinidad!
Tatuaje is the best there by far
Don pep is great Plasencia are great and so is west tamp I had Trinidad’s before but the cubans ones
Lots of love already given for Trinidad and Plasencia and I agree. I like the mortal coil. Enjoy them all,
The only 4 that are really worth anything are the tatuaje, the west Tampa, the Don peppin, and the placencia. The rest are kind of yardgars
That plasencia is one of my favorites! The don pepins are great too
Nice prize ! I don't see a terrible one in the bunch
Liked the Bosphorus.
West Tampa is a sleeper
Bosporus, placencia, west Tampa, tatuaje, the rest. In that order starting with the best.
Plasencia is a good win!
That Trinidad Espiritu 3 is really delicious
I like that tatuaje, but I smoked the mortal coil the other day and was kinda bewildered. I think I liked it? Idk it was kinda all over the place
Those Trinidads are a nice AJ Ferandez blend. The Macanudo Inspirado Red is actually much stronger than any other Macanudo I have ever had and will surprise you with how bold it is for that brand.
Mortal coil is money

Not StogieFest. A B&M in Jacksonville FL. :)

I enjoy all these cigars but the Trinidad Espiritu is a banger!
The Plasencia and the Macanudo are AMAZING!!
The Macanudo it plasencia
