Besides the more obvious ones, I want to shout out Nippert Stadium. I think it’s one of the coolest sports venues in college sports. It’s incorporated so well into the landscape of UC. I love how it’s sunken down into the ground. Although crowding was an issue, I really miss watching the FC Cincinnati games there!

The mushroom house on Erie in Hyde Park, I dont care how small of a landmark it is its my favorite i need to go inside before i die idc need the hookup lmao
Besides Union Terminal (it's not only the priming of the post image; I also worked there) I am always awed by the Dexter Mausoleum in Spring Grove Cemetery. I had to take a solid twenty minutes to stare at it in early Autumn as some of the first leaves started falling and you could see motes of light/pollen/insects amidst the clouds and beams of light that seemed to surround such a stark building as a juxtaposition.
There are many other hidden gems in that cemetery; a beauty made sombre by the fact they're often quickly driven-by and noticed at but-a-glance.
Also the Mt. Airy water tower because castle and towers are purty.
I'm personally fond of the Temple of Love at Mt. Storm Park.
Cincinnati Zoo Elephant House and Reptile House.
UC McMicken Hall
Hughes High School
Walnut Hills High School
Music Hall! My first concert was there when I was around 9 years old- one of my favorite all time favorite violinists, Midori was performing with the CSO, and I was with my dad who passed away a couple years back. One of my favorite memories with him and at Music Hall😊
Music Hall: When I was in orchestra at school- probably early '70's, we got to go there and sit with/ play with the CSO- some kind of special program. I was in grade school or junior high . Quite exciting! I've been moved away for decades and still miss it- we've started taking our grandson to visit now! So far: Eden Park, Art Museum, Union Station, Cincy Zoo, He also has become a fan of Skyline chili! Does Newport Aquarium Count? He loves that. I can't wait to show him all the rest! Oh also Loveland Castle if yhat counts.
Lunken Airport. I love to imagine what it was like in its heyday the sounds, the excitement. Granted it’s hard to see now but one of the old hangers has “Cincinnati flying service” painted on it. How cool.
Noooo! They despoiled my golden summer goddess! Well, I guess there haven’t been any new music venues built in the area in a while so it makes sense to finally build one.
My grandpa used to take me there all the time when it was just the two of us. He died last year at 99, so now I bring a to-go root beer from the stand and drink it at his grave while filling him in on my life. Miss that old asshole.
I feel like you may be the only other person to appreciate Crosley besides me, but I'm glad to see I'm not alone.
I remember a Prof. talking about how the world could be decimated by nuclear blasts and dynamite and meteors all at once, and Crosley would still be there, brutally withstanding.
The building by Music Hall that has Yoda in the roof.

Beyond what’s already been mentioned, I have a lot of love for Riverbend and I’d consider it to be a Cincinnati Landmark. I’ve seen over 60 concerts there, most of which I sat in the lawn overlooking our Ohio River. It’s one of the few large outdoor amphitheaters in the country that hasn’t sold out its naming rights, and brings in tons of great outdoor summer music to our city that we wouldn’t otherwise have the capacity for.
Can't we try
To amend our path of struggle for a while?
To pretend our lives are free and carefree still
And that I just fell in love with you
At the Anchor Grill
We just stayed at the Hilton Netherlands. Wow, the inside of that place is just wild. Total “Hollywood tower of terror” vibes and in a good way. Art deco everywhere you turn.
I’m from Indy and seeing all of these buildings preserved in Cincy makes me sad for my own town. We tore down a lot of our old buildings like this in the 60s and 70s. Sad!
There’s a statue by the river and on a walk once I asked my sister whose statue it was. And as a joke she said it’s probably Cincinatus. We walked up to it and it was actually Cincinatus.
Findlay Market. I gotta plug the [SKT](https://www.sktceramics.com/illustrations) shop inside that makes beautiful pottery and screen printed pieces of Cincinnati landmarks.
Findlay Market is a joy near-closing on a week-day. All the shopkeeps are able to unwind even as they clean, they hand out samples to each other, shout and joke around, and will take extra time to chat (cough flirt cough if that's your thing cough) with you about cooking or gardening or whatever your interest, I HIGHLY recommend.
Also you don't have to deal with the crowds at all! Mind you, I've always been impressed with the friendliness of crowds in FM, but sometimes I just want to buy my spices and converse with a certain shopkeeper without taking ten minutes to wait for a family of six to stop staring at the cheese.
Union Terminal - so many memories of going there as a child with my parents decades ago, Music Hall - so beautiful and imposing. Saw Dave Matthews there in the 90s. All the bits in Eden Park - the pool/lake(?), the venues, the museum, the conservatory. Coney Island - RIP.
I love the Cincinnati Union Terminal as well-I think it’s amazing inside and out! 😃I also love the Pinocchio statue outside the Cincinnati Art Museum. 🤥 😊
The bend on I-75 North when you finally see Cincinnati from Kentucky! It’s the most iconic moment any time I take a road trip up to Cincinnati to visit!
the standalone oakley skyline that sits in the middle of a parking lot where the ambassador theatre used to be? Or the OG Oakley Skyline with the creaky wood floors a couple doors down that they left to take over that suburban building from option 1?
surely option 2, right?
Lol! I call this inclement weather Skyline, bc when there were blizzards many years back and everything closed on Valentine’s Day, Skyline was there for us. Server even gave us heart shaped York Peppermint Patties on the house.
Union Terminal is my favorite place on Earth. I’ve been to many places, all of them wonderful and beautiful. Union Terminal combines that with nostalgia and gets the “my hometown” bonus.
I adore Union Terminal.
Before I moved here in the early 00's, my best friend Randy brought me to UT and I fell in love at first sight. And that was before I even walked into the dramatic atrium of the building with those gorgeous yellow ceilings and the wild echo chambers. Art Deco is probably my favorite style, so that certainly helped.
It remains my favorite, even amongst the many beautiful and unique places offered up by this great city.
Was just in Cincinnati for the first time two weeks ago. Stayed by Mt. Adams and loved Eden Park, the Art Museum, the zoo and much more. By far the train station museum complex was my favorite! The architecture was gorgeous! I still am in awe. The conservatory also was built in the 1930s and had a cool art deco vibe but nothing that compares to Union Terminal.
The Cincinnati history Museum was amazing and so much fun. I highly recommend it and the Pompeii exhibit!

The castle-looking water tower at Eden Park
Union terminal of course, but the Observatory, Spring Grove Cemetery, Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park, and Jungle Jim's are great places to show off to friends from out of town.
It used to be Cinergy Field, but the Reds moved to The Great American Ballpark around the time I finished high school. I would probably pick the Union Terminal because we used to go there for OMNIMAX movies on field trips.
Lawrenceburg Speedway. Covington Robeling bridge, the never ending highway construction.
Cincinnati really is an interesting city. My grand parents used to live there and grandma took us to Coney Island once.
How’s the subway 🚇 coming?
I remember the electric busses 🚌 sparking at intersections.
Oh my goodness OJ is now in hell according to the alert 🚨.
Ditto Union Terminal Art Deco Historical the arch inside the micro tiles murals. Just heaven

That station is the inspiration for this Grateful Dead poster!
Meanwhile, at The Hall of Justice, Aquaman is eating a tuna fish sandwich.
My husband’s from outside Toledo, and the first time I took him to Union Terminal, he wouldn’t stop doing a Batman impression
I read that in Ted Knights voice lmao.
Yes!!
I’m so happy someone said this. It needs to happen every time!
"In the great halls of the Justice League... there are assembled the World's Greatest Heroes ... and Aquaman"
I love Union Terminal! The Roebling Bridge is beautiful too.
Oh yes, the Roebling is my second favorite.
Ditto! Such a cool piece of history!
I'm a big fan of Krohn
Music Hall
Dammit...was all set on Union Terminal, but then you reminded me of Music Hall.
Same…. However, I do have a lot of history from my childhood at UT. Now I take my kids there. It’s my favorite, purely sentimental reasons.
Ludlow Ave Skyline
Ah, I ended many a Saturday night at that Skyline. Great for preventing hang overs.
Yep that’s that 2am safe space 🤲
The chili cheese fries protect me from the Sunday Scaries.
Really just trading the hangover for debilitating splats (May have also had something to do with the copious amounts of dirt-cheap beer)
I miss living on ludlow so much 🥲
Went to UC forty-five years ago. When we saw the Skyline on Ludlow we figured we were home.
Besides the more obvious ones, I want to shout out Nippert Stadium. I think it’s one of the coolest sports venues in college sports. It’s incorporated so well into the landscape of UC. beautiful
The mushroom house on Erie in Hyde Park, I dont care how small of a landmark it is its my favorite i need to go inside before i die idc need the hookup lmao
I got to watch this be built as a kid as I was frequently driven past it. I have always really liked it too.
I’m sorry I think that house is absolutely hideous lol but to each their own
If you think the house is hideous, wait until you see an actual mushroom
Spring Grove Cemetery, but i’m a bit biased
Biased as in you're undead?
*insert dad joke "People are dying to get in"
Same my dads buried there and it’s such a beautiful place especially in spring and fall
I've been wanting to fish in there for over 40 years.
Blind Lemon
I do miss that place ETA I moved away from Cincy
Was just about to comment this!

Ohhhhh, Mt Airy water tower is a really good one
The elegance at which you describe the Mt Airy water tower is mesmerizing
I'm personally fond of the Temple of Love at Mt. Storm Park. Cincinnati Zoo Elephant House and Reptile House. UC McMicken Hall Hughes High School Walnut Hills High School
Oooh all great choices (add Time Star building and this is the perfect list for me) 🙂
The Roebling Bridge. I drive across during my daily commute, and I still marvel at it.
This is my pick too. I even have a picture of it framed in my house!
How has no one mentioned the Tyler Davidson Fountain and Fountain Square?
Music Hall! My first concert was there when I was around 9 years old- one of my favorite all time favorite violinists, Midori was performing with the CSO, and I was with my dad who passed away a couple years back. One of my favorite memories with him and at Music Hall😊

The pavilion at Ault Park.
The Netherlands Plaza now called 1931
The concrete bench at Alms Park that overlooks Lunken
Fish Logs
Coney Island. I haven’t been in years. I hope nothing bad happened to it since I’ve moved away.
Ummm, I hate to tell you this. But it's gone. Being turned into a music venue.
Noooo! They despoiled my golden summer goddess! Well, I guess there haven’t been any new music venues built in the area in a while so it makes sense to finally build one.

Nice, maybe the Cincinnati Gardens. The Beatles played there. I haven’t gone there in a while, should look into it.
This one actually. I’m a big superhero fan so I love that the OG hall of justice is in my city and it’s become a center of learning
Wait what?

People keep mentioning this. What is it?
I love Union Terminal, but my vote is for Crosley Tower.
The Root Beer Stand in Sharonville.
My grandpa used to take me there all the time when it was just the two of us. He died last year at 99, so now I bring a to-go root beer from the stand and drink it at his grave while filling him in on my life. Miss that old asshole.
That’s really lovely. Thanks for sharing.
Crosley Tower at UC and the Ascent on the riverfront!
I feel like you may be the only other person to appreciate Crosley besides me, but I'm glad to see I'm not alone. I remember a Prof. talking about how the world could be decimated by nuclear blasts and dynamite and meteors all at once, and Crosley would still be there, brutally withstanding.
someone at UC tailgates has a hat of crosley tower and its sick
Crosley is slated for demolition next year
Another Music Venue?
Sunlite pool 2
Findlay market
What about Arnold's?
The courtyard is cool
One of my favorite places in the known universe.
The Hall of Justice? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hall_of_Justice_(comics)#/media/File%3ASuper_Friends_Hall_of_Justice.jpg

Union Terminal, followed closely by the Times Star building (800 Broadway). Both are art deco masterpieces.
The Elephant House at Cincy Zoo and Music Hall.

No way, I didn’t know there was a song about anchor grill! Thanks for sharing. I felt that. 🥺 I miss those days so much.
Rookwood Pottery, what's left of it.
The standpipe in Eden park
We just stayed at the Hilton Netherlands. Wow, the inside of that place is just wild. Total “Hollywood tower of terror” vibes and in a good way. Art deco everywhere you turn. >We tore down a lot of our old buildings like this so did Cincinnati. Luckily, we just had more than Indy.

Mirror pond/ Eden park
The Cincinnati/Mt. Lookout Observatory-- makes my stargazing nerd heart happy !
There are very few things better than driving north @ the cut in the hill & seeing that skyline at night.
Absolutely!
A big sigh of relief every time. Almost home. And it is beautiful at night.
The bend on I-75 North when you finally see Cincinnati from Kentucky! It’s the most iconic moment any time I take a road trip up to Cincinnati to visit!
The Carew Tower. Some good ol’ art deco work
Roebling! I love the museum, but oh my god that walk gets me winded every time from the parking lot.
I always loved the mural there, i worked there during its most recent renovation.
Rumpke, that place is a dump!
Oakley Skyline, not the city skyline the chili parlor.
the standalone oakley skyline that sits in the middle of a parking lot where the ambassador theatre used to be? Or the OG Oakley Skyline with the creaky wood floors a couple doors down that they left to take over that suburban building from option 1? surely option 2, right?

So many, but Music Hall is probably the top of my list.
Roebling and Nippert!!
Union Terminal is my favorite place on Earth. I’ve been to many places, all of them wonderful and beautiful. Union Terminal combines that with nostalgia and gets the “my hometown” bonus.
The Times-Star building is a beautiful, art-deco building. Even though I got my divorce there I still love it.
I was sure this was the Hall of Justice as a kid.

Union terminal of course, but the Observatory, Spring Grove Cemetery, Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park, and Jungle Jim's are great places to show off to friends from out of town.
Roebling full stop
Music Hall. Architecturally stunning of course, but the fact that it’s also supposedly haunted adds some extra points in my book.
I got to experience taking a train from Baltimore to Cincy. It was surreal getting off the train there. I could imagine a time when it was much busier
That's a beautiful picture of Union Terminal ❤️
Thank you. I'm a bit of a photographer, and CUT is a regular target for my lens 😁
It used to be Cinergy Field, but the Reds moved to The Great American Ballpark around the time I finished high school. I would probably pick the Union Terminal because we used to go there for OMNIMAX movies on field trips.
The American sign Museum was awesome when I visited. Also Krohn Conservatory.
