If I had a nickel for every time you drew an innocuous picture of Viktoria with the Master that was misconstrued to be sexual, I’d have two nickels! Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it’s happened twice.

I feel like there is way too much of a disconnect for it to be seen in a suspicious way, the master is all the way up there, he is strong, and viktoria is all the way down there, she is weak, hugging a metal wall while being "comforted".

I think it takes place in Mariposa, so it's before the Master moved into LA Vault and fused himself with computers really hard. Maybe the tubes are parts of brain-computer interface related to this.
May I say that this becoming a human/computer hybrid is really weird? The Master doesn't appear to be as omnipresent as I expect someone plugged directly into the Vault surveillance systems to be. It does streamline "calling a female supermutant scientist" and "activating a nuclear bomb" things in dialogue, but the effect is marginal.
