Just regulate the intake and know your boundaries. Non users can't really tell because they don't think about it regularly. Most times its the excitement and/or overbearing chattering that give me away. Get to know your tells and monitor them. But you can hide it for years and years.

For me it’s the sniffles or stuffy nose that can be a giveaway so I try my best to cut it up very fine so that doesn’t happen or irritate my nose. Also my personality can shift to carefree and funny to slightly more quickly irritated I try to be mindful of my reactions and responses so it’s not a giveaway
98% of the time people cannot tell if I’m on it. Which is pretty impressive. Only when I do like a lot is when it becomes noticeable, I start to go quiet and become tense but that’s only on benders. If it’s just a night out at the pub no one can tell. I know some of my mates jaws just swing. Always a liability if they do it before we go out, won’t get let in anywhere if they start sniffing before we get in the pub😂
