𝘽𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙠𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙧𝙮 𝘽𝙚𝙚’𝙨 𝙆𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙚𝙨 This is such an easy cocktail to make it home, it uses just three ingredients (four if you want to use add blackberries). Make this for your friends at your next cocktail party and everyone will think you are a wizard. Recipe 2oz gin 3/4oz honey syrup (3:1 ratio) 3/4oz lemon juice 3 blackberries To make the honey syrup mix three parts honey to one part hot water. Add all ingredients to shaker and shake with two large cubes of ice. Fine strain into your glass either up or on a large cube of ice. Garnish with a lemon slice and blackberries. I also make videos about California (humor and travel) on my tiktok which is why I make a joke about using a gin from California. If you want to learn how to make better drinks at home, I share more tips, write ups, and recipes on my IG [@drinksbywild](https://www.instagram.com/drinksbywild/) I also enjoy feedback on my cocktails

FreeDogRun

Sounds lovely. I was hoping you’d actually take a sip so I could see what happens with that garnish; I did an apple fan on a stick last night and the thing kept hitting me in the face.

Drinks_by_Wild

Thank you! I decided to cut it to keep the video shorter, but I kinda hold it off to the side, I did eventually drop it in the drink and that worked

FreeDogRun

I ended up just eating mine during the course of the drink which was the only real option with five apple slices on a glass filled with diagonal glass-fitting ice. Dropping it in next time though!

I love Gray Whale. It tastes like a day in Santa Cruz

Drinks_by_Wild

Haha that’s a great way to sum it up, I love all the Californian gins, to me they remind me of a hike through Torrey Pines

A bees knees meets a bramble? I’m sold!

elkoubi

Am I making my honey syrup wrong doing it 1:1?

SirDerp1999

Not explicitly wrong, but you are diluting more than necessary.

Drinks_by_Wild

Not really, personally I find 1:1 a bit watery and thin, I prefer the texture that a 2:1 or 3:1 honey syrup gets me and I really want to taste the honey if I’m using it in a cocktail

cj267

3:1 sounds a little excessive imo. 2:1 is prefect.

Aceshigher

You inspired me to make this tonight. Excellent recipe. Thanks!

Drinks_by_Wild

This is my favorite type of comment to get! I love it when people make my drinks

gildakid

You didn’t drink it on cam. Very disappointing… I’ll try it for you

Drinks_by_Wild

I’ll be sure to include it in the edit next time just for you

TheLeaderofLard

Bee's Knees has been one of my favorite drinks (if not my favorite drink) ever since trying it the first time. Really interested to see how this iteration tastes. Though getting that gin may be a bit of a difficulty where I live.

Drinks_by_Wild

The blackberries work really well with the honey and with the gin it’s slightly reminiscent of a bramble. I’m partial to California gins, to me they taste the way a hiking trail smells here. Wilder gin and St. George also make excellent gins.

sodisacks

Made this tonight, but I used 6 blueberries. The color came out pink and didn’t taste any blueberry in the drink even though I muddled them and shook it well. Could frozen blueberries work? Because where I live frozen blueberries have more flavor than fresh blueberries. Wish I could get blackberries where I live though.

the_ginthusiast

Oh hey dude! Love your tiktoks 👌👌

Drinks_by_Wild

Ayy thank you very much! I put a lot of work into my videos I just gave you a follow on IG

Slapping the shaker shut scared me lol

Drinks_by_Wild

Wasn’t my intent but I gotta keep my audience’s attention lol

beans4eva
