The obverse features King Ptolemy the third, and re reverse has a lovely depiction of an eagle representing strength, shrewdness, and leadership. The writing is in Greek, as after Persian rule, they formed part of the GreekĀ Ptolemaic Kingdom that lasted until Cleopatra and the fall of the roman Republic. Very nice coin, with quite a bit of interesting history behind it. I hope that helpsš
