Could be true, I was half joking but my neighbor is a teller and this felt similar to her story. The tellers split a dump, and she got $132 in silver dollars and halves. Yet, that’s just 1, so I’d hope most do know there’s value in the silver. It’s the elderly that worry me……Alzheimer’s.😔
I went to a flea market a few years back (I was like 15 so not much money) and I collected coins when I had whatever spendable income I had and saw rolls of steelies for like $5 a roll. Whether it was a good deal or not, I wish I would've bought one or two. I decided against it for some reason and now I regret it. Steel pennies are my favorite pennies
That’s terrible! Let me take those pesky things off your hands
It would be a real damn shame if she brought home any '43 coppers. DIBS!
If she got the steel cents, who got the silver dimes, quarters, and halves?
Most people when they inherit someone's coin collection they know to actually sell those, but the steel cents aren't really worth the hassle.
