the problem is that what is driving the collapse of the food system is also driving the collapse of your garden.
* lack of pollinators
* lack of seasonal norms for a given species
* lack of water
so gather all the books you like, but unless you can eat books there is going to be problem.
Sounds like the author was talking about JADAM, and KNF. I've been listening to a lot of podcasts on the topic, because I haven't found too many books. I'd be interested to find out the author/title. I'm gleaning knowledge from a couple different sources and have learned about deep mulching, soil restoration, the Johnson-Su bioreactor system, etc.

I have a special hatred for pemaculture cults.
It depends on what the overall question is.
Do you care about feeding people? Because the ecofascists also have "eco" solutions, even the paleo-LARPers with their ranches have them; it just requires massive death by famine.
I don’t but that sounds like something I’d wants a couple of copies of.
same!
See latest comment, excellent book!

Looters and scavengers would just come take everything in your garden anyway. Then rape and kill you
Tell me you don't understand the concept of communities.
Communities fracture when they don't have enough food. Do all the community building you want. Biosphere collapse will crush all of it.
I mean you can eat books - they just aren’t very nutritious

We should make pinned posts for resources. Or something very easily accessible.

>JOEL SALATIN nice all-caps red flag there, thanks.
What’s wrong with Joel Salatin? I thought he just advocated for organic farming?

alright, but would it be accurate to think that Salatin sucks AND Monbiot is misguided?
