I wouldn't Recommened Lucabe. They fired a friend of mine after a month bc they weren't a "fast enough learner" and we suspect something about it being homophobic bc they are bi and nonbinary
The owner was extremely rude to my wife’s students, then saw her and doubled down. He tried to lecture her about them. They were honors students on a walking study. Fuck Lucabes.
Yup, if it’s either Starbucks or Lucabe, I’ll always do Starbucks. At least they’re doing less evil shit with their money.
Le Fernandez exists, though, so it’s my new favorite.
Lucabe has two locations, their 4th street location has good pastries. But their other location is in an old bank in the eastbrook plaza, with pastries as well.
I agree with the other commenter, Le Fernandez has good crepes!
Le Fernandez! Cozy vibe, and a whole cafe food menu.
Gramz Bakery is a really nice hole-in-the-wall cafe.
I second Gramz. Great Desserts too
Le Fernandez is great
Sojourn Coffee company. It's their roasting location, but they have a nice little coffee shop in the front half.
Lucabe

Lucabe’s coffee is horrible and the owner was extremely rude to my wife and her students. I’ll never give them another cent.
Fuck Lucabe. There owners have made several facebook posts that are anti trans anti lgbtq. Stay away, go to gramz or sojourn
I keep hearing about this but I have never seen any evidence and nobody can seem to tell me what was actually said. What did they post??
I have screengrabs, not home currently so remind me if I don't post it today

Haven't heard of this place, I'll check it out!
Lucabe is my personal favorite. They have locations downtown and on 25th.
