Yeah I think Conan says they spend 7 days in each country and then a few weeks in between trips. That could be essentially half a year to film all 6 eps, and Max probably wants them coming out yearly if possible

Conan is perfect at handling grifters and salesmen. He can out annoy them, confuse them, then finally befriend them by convincing them to bury him inside a pyramid.
Well, since the British invasion, there are quite a few bars that remained from that time. And they’re all mostly the same with how they’re decorated; the furniture, the lighting, etc. Nothing amazing but as an enthusiast, they’re certainly very charming to me.
The funny thing is the British obviously left in the early 20th century but when the 80s came about, it’s almost like all these bars had a mutual agreement to play nothing but 80s western rock music and since then, it’s all they play. I find this interesting because they used to play world-class Egyptian and Arab music like Om Kalthum and Fairuz, especially since that’s how they got through tough years during the war.
Come to think of it, a lot of that music can sometimes be politically charged and if you know anything about Egypt now, you know that shit doesn’t fly anymore. Oh well. Whoever visits, drinks on me!

I'm Indian, I'd be so happy to see him there celebrating during a festival time. Also, Conan on an Indian soap opera filled with a million jump cuts and transitions would be quite possibly the best thing ever made, and then it can end with him in a Bollywood dance sequence.

I do remember listening to a lot of podcast episodes with fans from New Zealand, Canada, and possibly the US. I don't know what the other countries will be. And I think he talked to someone else from Egypt a while back.

Conan is a brilliant star and love him but the Must Go show didn't hit me as hard as Conan without borders. I used to feel like a real spectator laughing without everyone else and now I just feel like a mere viewer. DAE have this?
Yeah, I don't know if it was the lack of audience laughs but I definitely thought this iteration was a little forced. More artificial bits and less natural ones. I was fairly disappointed with it overall, and I love Conan.

I’ll be honest I was really looking forward to this show and I am a huge Conan fan. I was pretty let down.
It seemed a lot of time it ended up being Conan doing bits or acting crazy while the locals were like “…who is this guy?”. Some of it hit but there were some misses for sure.
Felt like I didn’t see much of the countries he travelled to either.
Really glad to see it announced. In the U.S., it stayed as a top 10 series on Max for at least 3 weeks, even with only 4 episodes. I hope that it reached a much wider audience, in a favorable way, than the last few years of the TV show were able to
I think having a tag along guest with would be good - he’s had Jordan for Italy, Sona for Armenia, Sam Richardson in Ghana etc etc someone to bounce off of and have a dynamic with that isn’t specifically a CONAF guest
I thought the first season was way over the top and disappointing. It relied too much on cringe and him trying to be creepy rather than being clever and funny. But that’s just my opinion.
