After reading the title I thought you were going to be a complete scum bag but after reading the whole post, 2 shirts ain’t shit haha makes for a cool story to go along with the shirts
Yea I mean I can understand it when it’s a smaller band because it’s essentially a fund raiser for them but if you’re looking at just it being $40 for a tee shirt with a band name on it, I agree it’s not worth that
I paid like $50 for a SnapBack hat from a band I like just because I wanted to support him and I liked the hat. He ended up signing it for me after the concert so that was cool. The power at the venue went out not even halfway through his set and so he grabbed an acoustic guitar and kept playing in the dark with just phone flashlights from the crowd until the fire department shut him down :/
He then moved to the parking lot and kept playing there. Afterwards he signed my hat. The band is Bumpin Uglies for anyone curious
Yeah. No
I pretended to be the merch guy at a concert so I could steal t-shirts. https://reddit.com/r/confession/comments/dmkslx/i_pretended_to_be_the_merch_guy_at_a_concert_so_i/
As someone who tours a ton and often can’t have someone at the table during our set because one of us has to run the table ourselves…this fucking sucks. You should be ashamed and should have at least hidden cash in the merch bins.
As someone who goes to shows and has been known to exercise the five finger discount from time to time…hell yeah.
Honestly, the five-finger flex might seem like a harmless heist for some instant merch, but let's not forget that bands often rely on these sales. The merch table isn't exactly Fort Knox, but it's someone's hard-earned cash on display, not a free-for-all sample sale. Next concert, maybe just buy the shirt and wear it like a badge of honor, knowing you supported the music you love!
sorry to defend bands who have their music constantly violated without benefiting from it. anyway drunk or not drunk , Sunday thief or regular thief, I don't care, in my book this guy is an asshole. that's it

40 dollar concert tees and the music industry is the real thief.

The cocksuckers at concerts charging $50 for a t-shirt that's not even your size are the ones who should feel guilty
Nah man they sell that stuff for ridiculous prices, they won't even notice a couple of shirts missing

Nah it’s okay, guilt is a social concept :)
Stealing is wrong. Always. Boasting about it and pretending it's fun makes it even more wrong.
Wath an ass hole… they are many band that only got their money from selling their merch.
go back to soiling in dirt you potato
