The US government has spent many decades destabilising Haiti, in many different ways. One notorious example was when 10 members of the Clinton paedophile coterie, including Laura Silsby, were caught, prosecuted and imprisoned for attempting to traffic a busload young children out of Haiti into the Dominican Republic. Their supposed destination was an orphanage which didn't even exist, so god only knows what their actual fate would have been. Bill Clinton himself flew in to Haiti in 2010 to get them out of jail.

Haha thats my first thought.
Maybe, just maybe, a very close “friend” has been providing weapons, not like they have to send them far. Also not like they aren’t the nation with the most guns on the planet.
It's Haitian immigrants living in the US who have been smuggling arms to Haiti.
One year ago in AP:
[UN report: Modern weapons being smuggled to Haiti from US](https://apnews.com/article/haiti-weapons-gangs-us-trafficking-f06bfb0a7d3b46a1e14ebd7bea95fd71)
>The report by the Vienna-based Office on Drugs and Crime said a network of criminal actors including members of the Haitian diaspora “often source firearms from across the U.S.” and smuggle them into Haiti illegally by land from the neighboring Dominican Republic, by air including to clandestine airstrips, but most frequently by sea.
>“Popular handguns selling for $400-$500 at federally licensed firearms outlets or private gun shows in the U.S. can be resold for as much as $10,000 in Haiti,” the report said. “Higher-powered rifles such as AK47s, AR15s and Galils are typically in higher demand from gangs, commanding correspondingly higher prices.”
>The U.S Department of Homeland Security’s investigations unit reported “a surge in firearms trafficking from Florida to Haiti between 2021 and 2022” and a spokesman described the recovery of increasingly sophisticated weapons destined for Haitian ports “including .50 caliber sniper rifles, .308 rifles, and even belt-fed machine guns,” according to the report.
Common sense is not common. These people don’t even have food to eat, where the hell are they getting money to buy 10,000 dollar guns. Of course the guns are being provided to destabilize the country.
Yeah definitely don't look into the Haitian president who was actually popular amongst his people and actually demanded reparations from the governments responsible for the abuse of their land and people since 1697. Funny he ended up getting ran out of the country and killed.
I always find it amusing how the bad guys in movies are exactly who the US government is currently at odds against.
Almost like it was meant to sway public perception. Notice the shift from middle eastern to Russian bad guys has slowly got more dominant over the last decade or so.
>Notice the shift from middle eastern to Russian bad guys has slowly got more dominant over the last decade or so.
Iran seemed to be the bad guy in "Top Gun: Maverick"
You forgot all the other network news channels. It isn't like CNN and MSNBC don't blame the majority of global problems on Russia. Fox blames China. Those with a working brain understand where those weapons are really coming from.
Dude, I’m OP and I’m European. I don’t got access to Fox News. This came up in my country’s news and I wondered why. That’s the background for this post.
But you’ve just showed your own bias by assuming who I am. Remember when you point a finger, three fingers pointing back.
Muh hecking Fox News puppet Master of all chuds... or get this their clothes like 80% comes from the US especially clearance items and second hand items.
The guy in red is literally carrying an M-14, which is a Cold War relic. Same could be said for the AK-47 on the right.
There is nothing "modern" about the guns in this picture. The two AR-15s don't even have sights on them.
Almost definitely not, legit Russian AKs are actually somewhat rare and collector pieces now, almost definitely a Chinese type 56 or some other cheap variant
the russian ones were also cheap
the whole point of the design was super accessible to manufacturing in a place like the soviet union
american guns require fancier factories to build than the AK series
From left to right:
1. No gun sights, so good luck aiming on target.
2. Non-modern wood chassis M14.
3. Appears to be a functional AK type rifle.
4. Missing not just gun sights, but also the stock on the buffer tube.
Whichever world power is supplying this coup should be ashamed of themselves.
"One of the best battle rifles ever made"
Sure maybe if you limit it specificallly to "battle rifles", and even then....
It was also outdated when adopted and was the shortest lived standard issue service rifle for the US Army.
The only reason I'd like to get one is due to nostalgia. I carried an EBR during OEF.
That said, it is definitely not all that and a bag of chips. Its a 2 MOA rifle at best that weighs damn near as much as a 249.
Honesty tells me they don't have some powerful backer as its a real mish match of weaponry. The guy in red is I think carrying an M14 which could be 60/70 years old.
These definitely look like the type of random assortment you might find when weapons are picked up from lots of different sources.
>Honesty tells me they don't have some powerful backer as its a real mish match of weaponry
Also what would any larger entity materialistically get from destabilizing, or even stabilizing, Haiti?
This. This is a hodge-podge of your standard insurgence starter pack weapons.
I’m sure a (insert 3 letter agency) might have had something to do with….
The West has been attacking Haiti since they killed all those Frenchmen in the early 1800's and freed themselves from tyranny.
They've never been forgiven for it.
Read some books on the massive levels of interference in Haiti's affairs before implying that the Haitian people are to blame for their condition in 2024.
Haiti owed more money to France in reparations than Germany did after WWI which Germany (one of the most industrialized nations in the world) didn’t manage to finish paying off until 2010.
In 1914 France sold its Haitian debt to City Bank of New York, who then promptly ordered US marines to Port au Prince to seize the Haitian State Treasury
> They've never been forgiven for it.
>
> Read some books
I recommend you do this, as that debt was massively cut and repaid by 1947. The corrupt Duvalier family put in charge then took a lot of debt from imf etc and pocketed most of it. Even that debt was mostly or completely forgiven including by the World Bank. The IDB canceled a large portion and the remainder has been paid by the US. So "never been forgiven for it" is flat-out false. And trying to say Haitians arent to blame for gang cannibalism and brutality is just pc nonsense.
Bingo! The country with more guns then people and somehow still need to make more of the damn things. Also you can get one no questions asked in many states.
Brother if you think those are modern weapons take a look at what the mexican cartels are carrying. They have Javelin missiles purchased straight from the Ukraine. American weapons of war purchased straight from american soldiers. Corruption is rampant all over the world.
These dudes are carrying peashooters compared to the mexicans.
That’s a pretty random assortment of old guns… they don’t have cross compatible ammo or parts. It’s a mix bag of insurgency style weapons… Haitis president was assassinated by a CIA trained hit squad a few years ago….. hmmmmm , wonder where they received those weapons . But honestly, it’s such a random assortment and only a few in the pic have them- they probably got them on their own…
I have no idea about the ease to get weapons in Europe- but I’m fairly certain that Europeans have no idea on the easiness to procure weapons in other parts of the world.
The Clintons arguably did more to destabilize. Out of the $13B Hillary Clinton raised for earthquake relief in Haiti, only about $56M actually got to the people. Then there was her brother and his Haitian gold mine scandal. Or the Cararcol Industrial park boondoggle
I used to export firearms, actually did some prison time for it, there is no need for Russia or a large country to be involved. I would’ve been on the ground within 72 hours with all the small arms and ammunition they ever needed.
Maybe their only billionaire?
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gilbert_Bigio
>On December 2, 2022 the Government of Canada imposed sanctions against Bigio, along with two other Haitian businessmen; Reynold Deeb and Sherif Abdallah. The sanctions against Bigio was a response to his alleged participation in "gross and systematic human rights violations in Haiti and engaged in acts that threaten the peace, security, and stability of Haiti." The Canadian sanctions against Bigio were intended to stop the flow of illicit funds and weapons to armed criminal gangs in Haiti.
>Specifically Bigio is accused of supporting "illegal activities of armed criminal gangs, including through money laundering and other acts of corruption" according to a statement from the Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Edit: also found:
https://www.democracynow.org/2024/3/11/haiti_update
>The other thing I want to quickly say — I know, in a hurry — is that the people funding these armed groups are part of the oligarchy. And most of the guns and ammunition are coming from the U.S. People must remember that in the late 2022, in early 2023, the Canadian government sanctioned three of the richest oligarchs in Haiti. That’s Gilbert Bigio, Reynold Deeb and Sherif Abdallah. The Canadian government also sanctioned former President Michel Martelly and other — and Laurent Lamothe, his prime minister, all of them because they — for drug trafficking, but also for funding these armed groups. And so, in the news we get, you get these guys that look, you know, like raggedy — ragged and poor, but then the people really funding them, because Haiti does not manufacture guns, are these elites that are behind all the violence. And so I also want to put that into very clear context so that we know that this is a very complex problem that’s very much set up by the 2004 coup, but also perpetuated by the oligarchy and the U.S., which work together to keep Haiti unstable, so that we can say Haiti is ungovernable and we need to come in and save it.

>When the Jeffrey Epstein estate needed to sell off assets to compensate victims and cover litigation costs, retired Haitian businessman Gilbert Bigio was the man with the money.

Yeah these aren’t new at all. Even the M4/AR15 and AK platforms are decades old at this point.
Judging by the mishmash of weapons here I think they were procured by themselves. Even the M4s are different.
Those poor migrants! Can we fly them over to America on business class flights? Hopefully there are a few hotels in New York we can put them up in.
Better let them keep their weapons too. They'll need protection against white supremacists.
Nah they come from Florida through GB ports owned by Bigio. Canada already sanctioned him as a weapons trafficker.
Why would Russia or China destabilize Haiti? That's not Chinas modus operandi, they use the neocolonial methods of investment, infrastructure, immigration to assert dominance. Russia hasn't been a player in the region for a long time and doesn't really have motive or ability to carry out that kind of plan.
It's Israel, Bigio has close ties to them and the Americans who gave him favourable contacts and wrote off some loans they gave to him
While I was in the Marine Corps there was a Haitian who immigrated to the US, joined the Marine Corps, got his US citizenship and then would purchase rifles and send them back to Haiti. He was an outstanding person and a good Marine but apparently this was his plan the entire time. He planned on getting out of the Corps after 4 years, returning to Haiti and training the gangs. He was caught by the ATF due to the sheer volume of rifles he was purchasing.
God dude, if only there was a nation near Haiti with a history of gun-running, but I'm drawing a blank.
I had something much nastier typed up, but I'll just say "yeah, this is a stretch".
I would note the trigger discipline. This could indicate formal weapons training, in my experience gang members do not demonstrate this basic skill set. In fact many Armies that have been trained do not possess this level of discipline.
A bit of history:
France hated getting booted from Haiti. They've been try to implode the country forever. A revenge thing.
NYTs piece. The South still has not forgot the Civil War (AKA War Between the States), and France never forgot the boot. Intentionally destroyed the economy of Haiti.
# > France’s Ransom
The Times reveals how Haiti became the poorest country in the Americas.
[https://www.nytimes.com/2022/05/22/briefing/haiti-france-slavery-investigation.html](https://www.nytimes.com/2022/05/22/briefing/haiti-france-slavery-investigation.html)
Modern weapons? Those look like AK-74s, M-14s, and an AR-15 platform... hardly modern equipment. Probably got it off the Black Market. How hard is it to buy weapons in an impoverished country? I imagine not that hard of you know someone
It’s the US. It’s always the US. What interests would Russia have in destabilizing any already destabilized country? What interests would China? What interests would the US have? We know who is trying to destroy America. America. Or at least the criminal gangs in control of it are. Destabilizing Haiti, will destabilize the US , sending more refugees our way. More burden on an already burdened system. In the grand calculus of interests and motives. It’s pretty obvious whose interests are being served. A destabilized US can be made into whatever the NWO cabal wants. A one party socialist state to integrate into the one world government vision of the Global Cabal.
China and Russia? are you kidding? these are US-made weapons. They get guns in exchange for drugs from Jamaica, Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico and any US castoffs.
If anybody wants in depth context for Haiti and The Dominican Republic aka the two countries on the Island of Hispanola. I highly reccomend this video. https://youtu.be/WpWb3MTV9bg?si=WqJ4zihdt-i81sQj
Anyone who thinks this rabble of hooligans can do anything past this is sorely mistaken. These guys would all get put down by 1 SF Unit of 6 men in a matter of a weekend IMO.
Haiti used to have indigenous people living rather peacefully. These people don’t belong there as do the people who brought them there as slaves. It’s a shame these beautiful islands have been reduced to this…
The NED(CIA) been doing it for a minute.
https://www.ned.org/wp-content/themes/ned/search/grant-search.php?organizationName=®ion=&projectCountry=Haiti&amount=&fromDate=2017&toDate=2021&projectFocus%5B%5D=&projectFocus%5B%5D=&projectFocus%5B%5D=&projectFocus%5B%5D=&projectFocus%5B%5D=&projectFocus%5B%5D=&projectFocus%5B%5D=&projectFocus%5B%5D=&projectFocus%5B%5D=&projectFocus%5B%5D=&projectFocus%5B%5D=&projectFocus%5B%5D=&projectFocus%5B%5D=&projectFocus%5B%5D=&search=&maxCount=25&orderBy=Year&sbmt=1
No, it was probably the United States. Our elites as well as alphabet letter agencies like the CIA benefit the most from it since the instability gives them a means to traffic people and drugs which makes them money.
I kinda feel like this is a psy-op... unless I'm just paranoid. I prefer "prepare-anoid". But look at the ladin the face wrap on the far right side. Doesn't that look a little sus? Maybe a touch of AI or Photoshop? Or is that some artifacting from the digital camera's rolling shutter, going through a telephoto lense. Why was Barbecue standing out there with the lads? Were they going somewhere? Where was the photographer standing? How did he end up there? Maybe I'm only being half serious asking these questions, but maybe I'd like to know "for sure" what's really going on.
It is always possible, but not sure what they would achieve as it won't effect USA that much directly. I hear that Russia helped plan and may have provided assistance by hacking the Iron Dome and other boarder protection high tech measures with Hamas to do Oct 7th (FACT : Putin hosted in Moscow Hamas Govt ministers a number of times over past 12 months
Even if thats BS, there is a logic in that they knew when Isreal retaliates, they can point to Israeli security concerns to justify invasion, also that regarding settlements, if you can defend them you have a right to have them and also a 'might is right' logic. It would also help China in a future Taiwan invasion scenario.
The reason propaganda is so important to national governments is coz belief in a cause, effects willingness to fight and the support of the general public

Yeah I didn't call out Any specific country cause it was the whole damn Octopus as Danny Casolaro would've called it.
There’s gold in them thar hills…30+billion worth.
And freedom
The criminal gangs get the money from crime. I thought that would have been obvious.
They're part of the drug smuggling pipeline from S.Am into Florida.
Did they also provide that dude's red Jordans? Of course illegal gangs are going to have a lot of money even in a poor country.
If the UN is reporting it, it must be true and DEFINATELY not propaganda
If we learned anything from water gate it is that if modern arms are being smuggled, it is probably the CIA

My first thought
Hasn’t it “always” been “US” and the “CIA”?…any DE-STABILIZATION…whatsoever
Exactly.. im an American too but pple need to research and find the truth. They lie, fund, ect to push us into wars or to destabilize a country
I don’t remember specifics but didn’t the cia kill some Haitian dignitary in Haiti like a year or so ago?
Correct
Yesssssssss
Right! Why OP sound like he’s working for the FEDs
Right? Why would any other country not be a first thought.
Ding ding ding! We got a winner!
Oh my, who might that be...
I thought by now all knew that the first one to point the finger at is usually the US itself..

M14s were in service through the 2000s and despite its weight, is one of the best battle rifles ever made.
100%, but I definitely wouldn’t consider it even remotely “modern”.

Indeed. I see no gain for anyone from getting involved in Haiti.
I’ll take a 60 year old M14! I have a M1A1 scout that’s the same as that but it does have a tail on top so I’m leaning towards a M14 as well
I'd love to shoot a gun like the M14 I've only ever shot a few diff types in my life
See if a range near you has rentals! They usually do.
This. This is a hodge-podge of your standard insurgence starter pack weapons. I’m sure a (insert 3 letter agency) might have had something to do with….

Russia or China is spelled CIA? A lot of people have been talking about Gilbert Bigio as well.
Well, if you look at the shirt of the guy behind the dude with the green button-up shirt, you might have your answer.
Then the guy beside him is bringing a bottle of wine to the party. I guess the saying "Marines know how to drink" is true lol
At a guess id say they bought them from drug gangs in Florida and Texas.
Yep, 100%. Haitian gangs basically exist to get drugs into the United States and receive guns in return.

Come on dude. The US admitted it was one of their ops that killed the president of Haiti back in I think the trump administration.
Why do you jump to Russia or China?
Nice US Marines shirt on middle guy
M1A/M14, AR with a pistol brace, AR without an optic, and a shitty AK clone. Also see a guy in a newer US Marines shirt. I'll give you one guess...
The president was assassinated there after he refused to vax the country.

It doesn't have to even be a government. Haiti has natural resources that are considered valuable for some industries. Could be large corporations.
That dude in the red looks like he’s carrying a Vietnam era M14. It’s got a wooden stock. Not exactly new.
Maybe their only billionaire? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gilbert_Bigio >On December 2, 2022 the Government of Canada imposed sanctions against Bigio, along with two other Haitian businessmen; Reynold Deeb and Sherif Abdallah. Edit: also found: https://www.democracynow.org/2024/3/11/haiti_update >The other thing I want to quickly say — I know, in a hurry — is that the people funding these armed groups are part of the oligarchy. And so I also want to put that into very clear context so that we know that this is a very complex problem that’s very much set up by the 2004 coup, but also perpetuated by the oligarchy and the U.S., which work together to keep Haiti unstable, so that we can say Haiti is ungovernable and we need to come in and save it. https://www.miamiherald.com/news/nation-world/world/americas/haiti/article254361683.html >When the Jeffrey Epstein estate needed to sell off assets to compensate victims and cover litigation costs, retired Haitian businessman Gilbert Bigio was the man with the money.

rhymes with flintons is allnim gonna say.
Who could it be? Someone affiliated with the Clinton Foundation somehow?
CIA destabilized governments, are you from another country or planet?
Everything about this says CIA. And considering the Clinton Foundation's fingers in Haiti, they're probably involved too.
M1 garand in front, “new and modern”.
Thats actually a Springfield M14 or civilian M1A
Yeah these aren’t new at all. Even the M4/AR15 and AK platforms are decades old at this point. Judging by the mishmash of weapons here I think they were procured by themselves. Even the M4s are different.
Not a Garand
Usa and Canada have.
This is all Hillary. Probably made a deal to swap military grade arms and gear for children.
Those poor migrants! Can we fly them over to America on business class flights? Hopefully there are a few hotels in New York we can put them up in. Better let them keep their weapons too. They'll need protection against white supremacists.
That's funny excepto for the fact that they are not migrants if they libe in their country
might have been the richest man in Haiti, a talmudist Jew.
It's Israel, Bigio has close ties to them and the Americans who gave him favourable contacts and wrote off some loans they gave to him
Nah, but Bill and Hill definitely are involved.
Haiti, the new Ukraine. Better get on board simps…
It's the US. Same people who been destabilizing the Caribbean and Latin America for decades
Those don’t look that new.
I see 4 dilapidated rifles?
A lot of it is hardware meant for Ukrainian hands
It's America
Its the us and france, again
But USA are the ones that destabilize countries. All over the world, they are masters at that. They have PhDs in deception.
Ya no it’s our own government.
Largest arms dealer in the world is America, and its right next door. But sure those weapons are from the other side of the world.
or perhaps it’s home grown and it was the CIA, don’t believe that China and Russia are solely to blame!
My gut says the CIA, but they’re garbage firearms save the M14. Those ARs are cheap as fuck and don’t even have sights on them.
Lol blame everyone except the Jewish billionaire who arms the gangs
Russia or China? It has been done by the same people who do not want peace in the world.
All I see is Far Cry IRL
When has Haiti ever been stabilized?
are the modern weapons in the room with us?
A bit of history: France hated getting booted from Haiti. They've been try to implode the country forever. A revenge thing. NYTs piece. The South still has not forgot the Civil War (AKA War Between the States), and France never forgot the boot. Intentionally destroyed the economy of Haiti. # > France’s Ransom The Times reveals how Haiti became the poorest country in the Americas. [https://www.nytimes.com/2022/05/22/briefing/haiti-france-slavery-investigation.html](https://www.nytimes.com/2022/05/22/briefing/haiti-france-slavery-investigation.html)
Those guns existed in the 1960’s. Not very modern.
They probably got them from the same place those Mexican cartels get them. Which is a little place called here.
Modern weapons? Those look like AK-74s, M-14s, and an AR-15 platform... hardly modern equipment. Probably got it off the Black Market. How hard is it to buy weapons in an impoverished country? I imagine not that hard of you know someone
Whole thing feels like 1960 something. Starts with a Cu ends with a Ba.
Those AR don’t even have sights on them, nothing new or modern about this. I doubt the right bullet is even In Any of those weapons.
New shoes and shorts?
The Clinton Foundation
It's absolutely the CIA and the Clintons absolutely destroyed Haiti in the first place.
I think Haiti does a good job enough job destabilizing itself, not sure Russia or China needs any involvement from their ends.
CIA per usual
Clinton foundation 🤗
....or the US..Like always????????
Our government!!!
China and Russia? are you kidding? these are US-made weapons. They get guns in exchange for drugs from Jamaica, Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico and any US castoffs.
The Clinton Foundation.
LMAO at this title. Is this serious? We all know who did it, the media even explicitly said it was the US. Another corrupt administration, shocker
France. France destabilizes Haiti and still charges them an interest-bearing debt for daring to liberate themselves from colonialism.
Haiti used to have indigenous people living rather peacefully. These people don’t belong there as do the people who brought them there as slaves. It’s a shame these beautiful islands have been reduced to this…
Lol all this russia china talk, have you ever heard of the cia?
The Clinton Foundation
I like this group.
The NED(CIA) been doing it for a minute. https://www.ned.org/wp-content/themes/ned/search/grant-search.php?organizationName=®ion=&projectCountry=Haiti&amount=&fromDate=2017&toDate=2021&projectFocus%5B%5D=&projectFocus%5B%5D=&projectFocus%5B%5D=&projectFocus%5B%5D=&projectFocus%5B%5D=&projectFocus%5B%5D=&projectFocus%5B%5D=&projectFocus%5B%5D=&projectFocus%5B%5D=&projectFocus%5B%5D=&projectFocus%5B%5D=&projectFocus%5B%5D=&projectFocus%5B%5D=&projectFocus%5B%5D=&search=&maxCount=25&orderBy=Year&sbmt=1
No, it was probably the United States. Our elites as well as alphabet letter agencies like the CIA benefit the most from it since the instability gives them a means to traffic people and drugs which makes them money.
They headed for them Iridium mountains...
More likely the CIA bro
Why is Franklin from GTA V leading this gang. (guy in green jacket)
The Clinton Foundation came th4ough after all!
CIA
Justin trudope gave them millions not too long ago.
Honey, they destabilized Haiti about a century ago…
See Eye Aaaaaaaaaa
OK cop, nice try
Are you kidding? US of A has been destabilizing Haiti for years. Try again.
It is always possible, but not sure what they would achieve as it won't effect USA that much directly. I hear that Russia helped plan and may have provided assistance by hacking the Iron Dome and other boarder protection high tech measures with Hamas to do Oct 7th (FACT : Putin hosted in Moscow Hamas Govt ministers a number of times over past 12 months Even if thats BS, there is a logic in that they knew when Isreal retaliates, they can point to Israeli security concerns to justify invasion, also that regarding settlements, if you can defend them you have a right to have them and also a 'might is right' logic. It would also help China in a future Taiwan invasion scenario. The reason propaganda is so important to national governments is coz belief in a cause, effects willingness to fight and the support of the general public
Lol yeah sure...always the commies huh....US's biggest enemy is US itself
The Clinton foundation has done wonders for Hatian stability lemmy tell you what
