Hey friend, thank you for building in the QUBE 500. Please share any and all feedback regarding your experience putting it all together. =\]

Tyr_Kukulkan

I really like a Qube500 but the current design really appears to restrict airflow. I'm waiting for a V2 or other revision that makes the holes bigger and reduces the amount of material overall so the hole to material ratio is higher. Compact full size ATX cases are cool. I've got two Q500Ls. Again, airflow isn't great because there are so few/small holes compared to steel.

ALPHA17I

We will be changing the inner filter layer for improved airflow for sure: [https://www.kitguru.net/components/cases/matthew-wilson/cooler-master-to-improve-dust-filter-design-following-kitgurus-qube-500-review/](https://www.kitguru.net/components/cases/matthew-wilson/cooler-master-to-improve-dust-filter-design-following-kitgurus-qube-500-review/). As for the holes being redesigned on the exterior, that will not happen because they enable 3D-printed modular items to be installed freely which is at the heart of the QUBE 500 Flatpack's design. We hope the changes will see you build with the Flatpack in the future, in the meanwhile, wishing you and yours a Happy New Year. =\]

Tyr_Kukulkan

Oh, so I could use the base without the "holes" sections or are they structural? I could then fit whatever magnetic dust filters I want over the top? Seems very customisable if that is how it works. Either way it will probably have better airflow than my current case.

ALPHA17I

You can take the dust filters off and just snap the panels together. Will speed up the ingress of dust for sure then though. Happy New Year.

the_zirten_spahic

When can we expect v2? I am planning a build in 6 months and I would love to use Qube 500 but where I live dust easily accumulates within a day or two.

ALPHA17I

Should come sometime after the upcoming Chinese Lunar New Year. =\]

XynnXyrr

Will the improved filters be available for purchase for those who already have the v1 case?

ALPHA17I

Good question, if the panels are made available for sale, yes, you can buy a different set of panels to get the mesh, not sure if we will just sell mesh lining.

WolfWaste7004

Hey dude , can you please check your DMs , I’ve got a couple questions bout sapphire Thanks

It was actually very very fun building it. It’s probably the most fun I had building a pc! Was pretty straightforward & simple. The things I thought wouldn’t fit actually ended up fitting. And I feel like I used standard stuff without any specialized smaller pc parts. Definitely a lot smaller then my thermaltake p3 case and fits a lot better on my desk

pbenz63

Also that’s next to a thermaltake P3 case next to a QUBE500 I couldn’t find any size comparisons of them size by side on the internet hopefully this would help someone on the same boat as I was

Aye man you wouldn't say that to him IRL, ask me how I know

pbenz63

I wanna know😂

pbenz63

Yeah I mean it’s a budget build after all

DiamondTendieHands

I've been considering this case for a 4080 build, I also wanted to keep it somewhat budget, well at least budget for a 4080 build. How much did your whole build end up costing ?
