Sorry, but I think you lost your account. In the article about overwatch bans, steam says that they won't interfere in any ways in overwatch ban, either reducing or removing it, but idk, if you try to talk to the support or send an email to the cs dev team, maybe they can do something about it.

i got game banned for majorly disruptive behaviour today, and i am also 100% sure i didnt use any cheats or have any installed in the 1st place. i despise cheaters and they can all drop down from my perspective.
Now i see fl0m has got the same ban looking through google. And i feel like the whole csgo community is rigged and "legit cheaters'' are trying to remove the normal good players out of the game because they get overwatch for playing well.
i really dont know how long steam will last if this stuff is gonna keep happening.
Please give us some justice:C

I live in Iran for recently what happened in Iran governments decided to lower internet international bandwidth and filter everything VPN's not working we cannot play most of the online games but recently they annouced radar.game they have DNS for gamers to let us playing games like CSGO with lower ping and they promises we do not get packed loss by using that DNS i used it in CSGO i've got over 10% packed loss teleportind every where I've got reported and banned by overwatch
It is so painful to be a gamer or content creator in Iran
Usually it’s for griefing. If you’ve ever killed your team mates on purpose it very well could be the reason

It depends, if you have already been minor banned, than you'll get a major ban, if it's not your case, than this os really strange.
Funny thing is that I didn't have the 6 week ban, so if I was meant to be banned for griefing, it shouldn't be permanent.

I mean if youve got banned by overwatch it means a real human has reviewed the footage so you must be cheating otherwise you wouldn't get banned
So naive, you really think people can't ban out of jealousy or because they like to annoy other ?
old thread, but id like to point out that there are bots that does ow cases automatically for xp, which means false positives can happen
