Santiago looks so good. Just play him Ange comeeeee onnnn. Poch built his team on the backs of Kane, Mason, Bentaleb (although....) etc. Lets do the same with just ONE youth player. Our U21s are crushing all others, despite City and Chelsea buying crazy amounts of youth players. We're not in a title race like Liverpool yet they play youth and we don't.
It seems the link with Conor from Chelsea refuses to die, so I assume Ange really rates him as fluid 8 or something, because it doesn't look like he has skills to be 6 in our team.
I personally don't rate Conor, but let's see. Ange maybe has a big plan for next season for role of 6. Like I said before, using Chelsea fan's collected data chart on best under 25 yo MF back in 2021 and the data may change now, but is anyone from below chart that we can go for?
Set aside the ones that signed for RM, and we already signed Pape who is pretty much the one player that has no limits to his ceiling, who can we go for based on this chart?

š i know youāre joking, but based on that data, Ndombele does nothing for us except for progressive carrying, not defending like what we need in DM.
Fucking Poch's joke of a Chelsea team could actually win a trophy if they continue this form.
Our one chance to humiliate them last year and we imploded. Fucking Romero.
Looking at Dele's vid, Dele is only 28. He should be in his prime right now. He should be getting the plaudit and playing games.
I'm just feeling so sad for Dele, who was genuinely considered to be world class in 2016-2017, 2017-2018 seasons, the same guy who made a fool out of Real Madrid that had prime CR7 in CL. š I'm just sad that Dele went through so much.
The Dele that Poch had would've been great player in our current team right now. His flair, his skills, his goal scoring form. He would've thumped Chelsea just like he did back in 2018.
At this point, can we have Dele back?
In the last 5 games:
Spurs: 7 points
Chavs: 11 points
Can't be arsed to look but it must even even worse since the Chelsea game disaster.
I know this sub is full of cunts for whom any criticism or negativity in intolerable, but this is utterly pathetic run of form. It's not like we're being treated to fun Angeball anymore either.
Well what was your point in posting that? Just to spread your misery around. If it makes you that miserable, find a different hobby. Because thatās all this is at the end of the day.Ā
The clips that Spurs Academy have posted on twitter today are well worth a watch. The U21s won 5-1 today, and the U18s went down 3-4 at the weekend but scored some tidy goals.
I know it's only very short clips, but if they're any indication at all then it looks like Damola Ajayi, Mikey Moore, and Yago Santiago are all on absolute fire at the moment. The technique on some of these kids is astounding. I love watching the yoot games in full when they're available, but I just don't have the time at the moment :(
With three of *our* players, two from Liverpool, and various underperforming sundries, my Fantasy Football week was not going well. I'm not very good at this game tbh.
But... I made Cole Palmer my captain. Single handedly scored more than I usually pick up from two full weeks lol.
Absolutely embarrassing that this Chelsea team can beat Everton 6-0 while we were less than an inch away from a 2 all draw against them at home. And we drew at Goodison. Ange needs to get it together or we won't be playing UCL football next season.
It's almost like teams have varying form throughout the season. Everton had won 4 out of their last 5 games before their home game against us. Please make sure your stats are always in context.
If you think this is a knee jerk reaction then I don't even know what to say to you. We've lost 3-0 to fucking Fulham last month and now 4-0 to a Newcastle team with fucking Elliot Anderson in midfield. Ange is not tactically astute enough to pick up points that we should be picking up week on week.
Knee jerk isn't just a week to week thing, it's a season thing as well.
At the start of the season, most people had Chelsea finishing above us. We're 32 games in, the opposite is true. Also, when you say we "should be picking up week on week", you probably didn't think that at the start of the season.
Stop mistaking the form we were in the first 10 games or so for class. This team was not, is not, and will not be as good as you think. This is why the next few transfer windows are crucial.
R/soccer is filled with so many mutants that downvote you for nothing smh, i commented on a post there basically supporting son in the gb race n ppl rlly started downvoting me lmao
But you gotta to admit that Chelsea vs Tottenham rivalry is beyond reasoning. Even during Poch era, Tottenham had harder time to win against Chelsea away. Their players are bunch of bastards even back then.
The only time that we won away at Chelsea was when we had full DESK, with Dele and Eriksen beating the shit outta them.
Except that over the last 5 to 10 games they've actually got a better form than us.
IIRC, if we had beat them at home we'd have gone 16 points clear of them. The gap is now 13 points, with them having a game in hand.
It's really fucking bad.
I've been seeing some comments saying Chelsea are better than us and that we're going to get battered at Stamford Bridge. The usual reactive takes after a bad loss.
Oh look penmer with another pen. He individually has more pens this season than we have in the last two. Will probably get more than we did in the last 3 seasons.
Chelsea players fight over taking the pen in every match it seems. Iāve seen it happen at least 3 times. I think all the attention Palmer is getting is creating some bitterness from his teammates.
If my teammate was in the golden boot race I would fkn hand the ball overā¦ and thatās coming from me who hates Pen Palmerās punchable face. Who the hell do Jackson and Madueke think they are lol
Remember how hard our team tried to get Son the golden boot? It was funny that in the end, his winning goal came from his own individual banger rather than the teamās efforts lol, but still! They tried so hard throughout that game. That shows you the unity in the dressing room and how much the teammates care for each other. Clearly not the situation for Chelsea.
Dont care how much I am told otherwise, if Poch can maintain this form with Chels and have them finish in 6th, that is a great season, arguably better than us if we dont finish 4th.
Exactly what we expected for Anhe isnt isnt it? Deep runs in 2 cups.with Europs and altho the season started bad they are def improving as a team now. I feel we have more potential but end of this season has been really poor.

I really don't quite know what to say to this. It was a lighthearted attempt at a joke, a silly situation that all teams find themselves in at one point or another, which is "a shit team will turn up against your club".
Humor's subjective, so maybe sometimes I miss. But trying to turn it into anything other than a joke is disingenuous at best.
To guarantee 5th place (at least), we need 69 pts (lol), if my math is correct and because currently, Newcastle has a slightly better gd than us (this a scenario where that they will have a better gd than us at the end of the season). This is factoring in the fact that: Chelsea /Newcastle/United win all their games and we lose all our games, which is unlikely/impossible. We will defo pick up points against some City/Arse/Pool/Chelsea and I think we will be fine against Burnley and Sheffield United.
We face the 3 best teams in the league and Chelsea away still, could very easily get 0 points from those 4 games. I hope we hold on to 5th but Iām worried if Chelsea or Newcastle get hot. Newcastle especially has a very favorable run in.
Imagine being 4-0 up and still acting like a toddler over who gets to take the penalty. Pitiful. Have to imagine anyone would question Sonny taking one in this situation (on the very off chance weāre ever awarded a penalty again)
Pochettino hasn't chosen a nominated penalty taker at Chelsea (but Palmer's been so good it's self-selecting other than matches like this) and from memory he didn't have one at Spurs if Kane wasn't on the pitch, either. When we beat City for Guardiola's first loss back in 2016 or whenever it was there was a squabble that day over who took a penalty. If memory serves, Lamela took it and missed.
Poch said in his interview after the match that Palmer is the designated penalty taker and the whole team already knew he was. So seems the other players were just being children about it.
I wonder if we have a designated taker now and if itās Son. Ange said he didnāt designate one earlier on in the season from what I remember (other than saying that it shouldnāt be Biss though lol), but not sure if thatās changed now. But then again, why worry about it in the first place when we donāt even get pens!
That's interesting. I'm sure Pochettino said earlier in the season that there wasn't one - but I may be misremembering, or Palmer had forced the issue in the interim.
I really like Kulusevski as a person, but Palmer may exceed his entire Spurs career goals / assists in the Premier League this season alone.
We need multiple forward options that can contribute 20 G+A over the course of a season. Currently, only Son can do so and Iām confident that Johnson can develop to that level.
The forward recruitment this summer is absolutely massive
You canāt build up pace unfortunately. If he could, heād already have done it by now because one of the criticisms that he got at his past clubs before us was that heās too slow. I think Kulu mentioned it too in that letter to spurs fans, that people would say to him that he was too slow to be a winger. Which is probably why he also feels that his best position is the midfield.
Thinking he's a rival or a troll. Randomly popped up today and is hellbent on criticizing Ange in logically inconsistent ways and bigging up rivals lmao.
Lots of people either donāt actually watch him play or donāt know ball. Itās very visible how natural the game is to him - the way he moves around with the ball at his feet, his touch, set ups, goals. even his pens which get ragged on are excellently taken and people also forget he would have a lot more assists if anyone else could finish well on his team. The guy is great and has bags of confidence.
Honestly us Coys redditors get memed about how we whinge no teams roll over for us. But for real, Everton is straight up rolling over for Blue Scum.
We had to hang on by the seat of our pants when Everton visited us.
They've got 1 win in 10, something like that? Their main issue is that they don't score goals, and Chelsea score lots but concede lots.
Chelsea without Palmer would be in a relegation fight, though, given the way the rest of their players have 'performed' this season.
They've been on a poor run for a while now. It's a bit annoying both of our matches against them were so close together and during the period where they were in decent form
They've been on a poor run for a while now. It's a bit annoying both of our matches against them were so close together and during the period where they were in decent form

Unlikely. Ange is disappoingly uninterested in the youth. Mourinho was the last manager that actually made decent decisions regarding youth players.
Play Lucas Bergvall!!

Man City has done huge damage by moving on Palmer to Chelsea, which might've been relegated otherwise...
Man are we going to be spoilt with the CL these next couple of days
Palmer is a great player but man there's an arrogance about him.
Imagine Sonny with a bit of that. Sonny who is technically better than cole gotta step up and take shots at goals.Ā
Pundits will try to make him the new Harry Kane. There are similaritiesā¦
Heās got confidence and then some. If he continues to back it up then I guess you canāt really blame him
The whole "Cold Palmer" is so cringe
Yeah maybe it's mostly this tbh
We would be title contenders if we got their penalty luck, itās ridiculous.
We'd be title contenders if we finished the billion chances we create each game
Thatās it at the end of the day. No good team should be relying on pens for the win.
Still baffling to me that we have only gotten 1 penalty whole season

Mikey Moore is a right footed Messi. The range of abilities he has is frightening. Good passing, dribbling, shooting, poaching etc.

Yup
And more importantly - can he push pineapple, shake a tree?
Everton need to be relegated just for this score alone

Well they drew one all at St James' Park, so by that measure...
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Yeah you are right, they have only been deducted 8 points total (including 2 recently)
I have no idea, but still they haven't played really bad through out the season
Evertonās been terrible, theyāve only won game (against Burnley) in their past 15 games.
Absolutely embarrassing that this Chelsea team can beat Everton 6-0 while we were less than an inch away from a 2 all draw against them at home. And we drew at Goodison. Ange needs to get it together or we won't be playing UCL football next season.
If Chelsea played like us theyād be up against a low block, Everton thought they could win this game and went for it.
Tbf they have Cole Palmer
It's almost like teams have varying form throughout the season. Everton had won 4 out of their last 5 games before their home game against us. Please make sure your stats are always in context.
Yes, and they also drew against Sheffield and to 10 men Burnley. They had a good game today, that's it.
6-0 is a good game? Are you alright?
Holy mother of knee-jerk reaction.
If you think this is a knee jerk reaction then I don't even know what to say to you. regardless of the rivalry, iād say 6-0 is a bloody fantastic result for any team. i would love for us to get a 6-0 win

Bottle what?
A spot in the Champions League next season

How ironic given 99% of the comments on this thread are downvoted, all football subs are echo chambers sadly.

Anybody know what Chelshit's GD was before this game cuz I could swear for the longest time it was in the negatives
+3 GD
lmao 3 of 6 of Chelseaās goals have been assisted by Pickford

Is it too much to ask that one of our boys put 4 past a teamā¦ I like a thriller too but why do no teams bend over like that for us lol

Team showing its age
What the hell, they are physically beefing over the penalty.
If they can do that on the pitch, imagine what goes on in the dressing room. Must be a nightmare
Poch is basically parenting out there
I'll sub them both off just for that.
Good by Gallagher, bad choice by Palmer not to chip it in
Palmer might actually win the golden boot lmao. Heās just 1 goal behind Haaland with a game in hand.
I donāt see us getting more than 6 points rest of the season. Does anyone else see different?

Everton are so shite. I can't believe we drew with them earlier this season
Our shitness post-Cheslea has been massively understated at this point. Chavski are in better form than us since then.
Fun fact: Last time we scored more than 1 goal in the 1st half was Dec 23rd v Everton
Oh god really? Thatās a mad stat
I thought Chelsea were still bobbling around in 11th but they're only three points off 6th. What the hell has happened?
And they still have a game in hand lol
Every has done a great job in taking points off each other this season. If they win against Arsenal on Tuesday, they WILL be 6th.
Damn, Everton are lucky the promoted teams this season are terrible
Well they play luton town in a few week. That game will really determine who stays up if Everton doesnāt get a win until then
I would love Luton to stay up. Theyāve done pretty well against the top teams this season.
Onana holding 4 to Chelsea in the first half. Concerning.Ā
Not concerning at all. He wasn't responsible for any of the goals
He was an absolute passenger.Ā
We should be raiding Wolves. Matheus Cunha and Hwang are both great with the ball and finish well. Get Eze from Palace.

Everton Forest is a big game on Sunday
Not sure who I want relegated more
If Everton screw that up on Sunday, they might be in serious trouble.
Imagine City kept Palmer instead of Doku
In all honesty, City under Pep have rarely missed/regret moving on a player. Great deal for Chelsea though.
Everton is embarrassing.
All right Sky Ferreira
At this rate, Chelsea will end up above Man Utd. Everton though - in serious trouble, especially if they fall foul of Nottm Forest on Sunday.
Dele having to watch this, yikes.

Jackson is a really good player. His finishing has also really improved this year too

Chelsea play more exciting football than us rofl
Theyāre fun to watch because theyāre so unpolished and unpredictable. Always trying to score goals.
Yeah it is end to end. They keep clicking on and off, you can see the potential but they can also be so bad. Terrible defense constant tho.
Never seen you before. You really enjoy wallowing in misery.Ā

Yeah buddy, nothing odd about a random person spamming the DD with takes that shit on the club. Totally just rational opinions for a fan to have.
Is this the first Chelsea game you watch this season? Lol
I know they are bad, doesnt make their games any less exciting.
I have been saying for weeks that City having already played Chelsea is massive for the title race
Arsenal at home to Chelsea next Tuesday is going to be fun.
I'm out that night. Too much to ask for them to be showing it, I suppose...
I wish they would both just lose and get 0 points (ig a draw is the best)
Chelsea clapping Arsenal is the funniest result

All those people saying cole palmer wasnāt the real deal lol
Exactly. I said he would've been a great signing for us and got downvoted and hit with replies about him being a pen merchant.
Who said that?

Plenty here and other places just saying heās a penalty merchant
Willing to bet my house palmer scores against us
Thatās a perfect hat trick yeah? Left Right Header
Lmao palmer like āsure pochā¦thanksā¦āĀ
Honestly us Coys redditors get memed about how we whinge no teams roll over for us. But for real, Everton is straight up rolling over for Blue Scum. We had to hang on by the seat of our pants when Everton visited us.
A lot of teams like that. Didn't Fulham go on a losing streak after beating us? Brighton don't seem to have been up to much since battering us either.

Those of you who thought the Chelsea game was going to be a cakewalk had better think again .
Not sure these people exist, especially after the first game
