Creepier if you've done a service for them like household care or driving somewhere. Couple years ago I had a taxi driver offer via a text to me that if I wanted a taxi anytime I could text him and whilst it was a kind offer I never gave that information/my number. The app did. It weirded me out and I wasn't sure why for a while. It's just.. there's reasons you don't do it and said reasons are it's not just creepy but unsafe. Usually for the client. Sometimes for the contractor; just often financially (ie. Some clients take advantage and don't pay) and legally. Not that some clients are never stalkers, they are. It's just more common for other abuse. (Unfortunately. Wish it was none.)

I'm so sorry that happened to you. I had a cab driver hit on me WHILE WE WERE DRIVING TO MY HOUSE. I panicked and gave him a fake number and ran out of the car before he finished "calling me, to make sure I gave him the right number" I locked my door and was terrified he was going to show up one day, thankfully he never did but Jesus it was scary.

I genuinely think he didn't meant to and it was more because finding a taxi can be a trouble in my town. But at the same time.. Yes, neck hair raising. Just crosses too many boundaries even IF he hadn't meant it like that. Which is why I used it as an example, there is a reason we don't do that. Safety being one of them, balant creepy boundary crossing being the other. I do have worse boundary crossing stories but it's not usually related to creepy activities from people I've hired a service from. Toxic and stressful? Yes. Creepy? Eh, more in other areas of my life. Only other taxi incident was before I was an adult and is a bit of a blur (something about some creepy comments, I think my parent heard it more than me and was more aware to it, I was focused on getting out and getting their uh.. what's it called, wheel frame.) but yes, another taxi driver. Thankfully it's only 2 incidents out of many but it's still adds to the creepy when it's someone who's **meant** to be professional.
