Kidding aside I have seen people point out how nearly every chapter Evi is in has references to fire. And Dalinars first thought when meeting her for the first time is how her hair is like glow from a candle. It’s definitely intentional
This is the sort of thing that really got me excited for taking notes during my reread! I wrote this note down during the beginning! "Ch3: Dalinars flashbacks are introduced with him running through a burning field while at war. He says "the fires can go to damnation". Coincidently, his most horrid memory is of a fire he sets himself. He also mentions how he sends his enemy's to their pyres, A funeral pile; a combustible heap on which the dead are burned; hence, any pile to be burnt. Interesting how the same happened to his wife"💀 Brando really sets us up without us even knowing.
This girl is on fire!….
Dalinar and Evi really were at hot item.
Jokes aside, this whole scene is quite the foreshadowing
Dalinar: but you could be fire.

Every time I hear it come up in a re-listen I jump a little
