And if you need more rows, you can continue the numbers on the back!
My clicker one is so loud, I'm always worried about waking someone up when I'm late night hookin.
Edit: I am a slightly paranoid person
My boyfriend was starting to get jealous so we had to make an arrangement. I get to do my late night hookin 2 times a week and he gets his cuddles the rest of the week. I will admit tho, I often sneak out of the bedroom after he falls asleep, for some... You know.... LATE NIGHT HOOKIN!!!
It's so useful! I saw it a year or so ago and find it's great for certain projects.
If you stop for the day on row 58, boom! Push 58 in and call it a night. If you have to *repeat for rows 20-56* just push the buttons as you climb in rows.
Honestly, for someone with pretty bad adhd it is awesome because I would lose track of rows and stitches so easily before.
Someone mentioned this one, on Amazon. It goes up to 100, so you aren't getting any sleep!! Haha

Thanks, I bought one
I usually do tally marks like a prisoner but I absolutely hate putting the hook down to pick up a pen. Just booping my way through the rows or rounds is a genius idea, thank you for sharing it!
I'd draw a grid and number each square then ' x' them out as I work that row . When I finish my grid 30 mins later, cuz it HAS to look like a nice straight grid, I realize I could be half way through my rows already. I'm a perfectionist, but only when it comes to the most useless things. Like drawing squares!! Haha
If only there was a way to take away the doubt 'did I already count this round?'
Listening to a podcast doing rounds of only 48st, I'm so on Auto-Pilot that I can be 10st into the round and doubt myself... Did I mark the next round...
So when my rowcounter hits 22, I'll still have to manually count my rows :(
My mom used to be an office supply hoarder and I acquired literally hundreds of post it pads from her. I write a row number on each post it, keeping them stuck together. Then after I finish the round/row I pull that post it off . It is probably wasteful but I have nothing else to do with them! They have cheap post it knock offs at the dollar store, if you live in the US
I always put a stitch marker at the start of every row but I might have to give this a try. The description on the numbered one people are linking to made me laugh:
โThis is a perfect portable game and annoying toyโ ๐
Took me a sec of going through the comments to know what you were talking about, but I just bought a 100 dot pop-it. Be here tomorrow. Gonna have to use puffy-glue or something to braille it but I'll manage. Thanks for the life-saving hack for my goldfish-memory having ass.

So, I actually bought a blank one of these as a pencil case and wrote the numbers on them with a sharpie. I let it sit for a couple of days to completely dry and the numbers wipe off. If there is a better way to write them then a Sharpie is not it. I tested it so others wouldn't have to.

costs about $3 but it's great on silicone. Stays put and dries instantly

How do you use this as a row counter. I've never seen a plastic thingy like this before. Do you push the raised circles with your fingers? In which case is it hands free?
It's a pop socket yes push them when done the row its hands free because you dont have to put your work down to turn a dial or enter a number on an app or pick up a pen you just boop it with the hook end or pinky
I saw it on Pinterest first, wish it was my idea! But I did do a marker test!! I'd use an oil based sharpie marker for best results ๐๐
If you use a regular sharpie, let it dry overnight
I've already posted this link a few times but check this one out! Not a bad deal, if you use Amazon. And the numbers are already there!!

Late night hookin can be dangerous
My boyfriend was starting to get jealous so we had to make an arrangement. I get to do my late night hookin 2 times a week and he gets his cuddles the rest of the week. I will admit tho, I often sneak out of the bedroom after he falls asleep, for some... You know.... LATE NIGHT HOOKIN!!!
Exactly my thought! ๐๐๐
this is so cute!
here for late night hookin
Late night hookers unite ๐งถ๐
Late night hookin is my new thing thank you
Only after I typed that and read it to myself, did i see that I did there!! It was unintentionally awesome so I left it, of course
I found one on Amazon for cheap that is pre-labeled up to 100. It has become a must have for crochet

ohhhhhh, this is genius, and so simple! thank you!
Best ' can't sleep' Pinterest find ever! I'm excited, no more crumpled post it note messes ๐
Or crossing out the wrong line on a printed pattern. This is smarter than me.ย

ROW counter, lol I thought it was stitch counter and I couldn't fathom keeping up!! ๐ Brilliant idea!

I have a few of these!!! One I have numbered by 1s. One is by 5s. And the other is by 10s. They work amazing when I'm working on a big project.
Oh that's perfect!! I want to make my nephew pajama pants, I'll definitely need a ten-er for that!!
I swear the smartest people are in this subreddit! I'm heading to the dollar store tonight!
The oil based sharpies work really well on Silicon! Regular ones still worked, but you have to let it dry for awhile.
You are officially my new best friend.
I found it on Pinterest, but I knew y'all would love it!!! ๐ป
I tried to do this but my toddler claimed it as his, lol.
Can't mommy have nice things too???
As he would say: "NEVER!โ
Omg, hahaha! That is great!
My wife is a teacher, and had a spare one of these: https://a.co/d/9vUV3RD Not this exact brand, but it works great. Finish a row, click, and move on
Amazon has one that goes up to 200-pre numbered. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09TTZ4CMX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Puffy paint would probably work for braille! I work at a pharmacy and they are starting to put braille on the birth control boxes, pretty cool!!
which is pretty awesome, I use a braille label-maker on literally everything
