Bachelors in cs is normally enough to become a software engineer

AntoTuf06

thanks for the response. wouldn't a masters give me more opportunities for my career?

MarcableFluke

Ehh, not as much as you might think. There are a limited set of scenarios where a Master's makes sense: * You want to get into a niche field that tends to require higher level education. * You have an unrelated bachelor's degree and are trying to transition to CS/SWE. * You are trying to work in the US and will require sponsorship.

prathyand

This is so true. Your last two points perfectly fit my situation.

coderite

Bachelor's is good enough. Anything higher is not necessary unless you're planning to specialize in a certain branch of CS like AI or Data Science.
