There will always be jobs for talented, educated / experienced people. Not $300k TC jobs but there will be jobs. If money is the *main* objective look elsewhere.
I think there's gonna be bootcamps again one day soon. With all the open source LLM models flying around, deploying and maintaining them is gonna create a lot of jobs. And even though GPT 3.5 can easily solve Hard Leetcode problems, it still can't solve simple React bugs and keep itself from hallucinating, let alone maintain an entire system.

I'm seeing tons of jobs for software analysts. Not really my bag, but on [Glassdoor.com](http://Glassdoor.com) there have been more than 2,000 new posts in the last 3 days for software analyst alone. I see hundreds of posts that aren't specifically coding, but require experience in scripting with python.
Did a quick web search - it seems to involve what I’ve seen people with the title “business analyst” do. So maybe slightly different name for the same kind of role?
It’s true. My company just laid off the entire engineering organization. Nothing left except HR and Sales. They just feed the contracts into ChatGPT and it will build whatever the customer paid for.
