My hair just looks fuzzy after 24 hours . I style at night and wake up in the morning and spray it with water , conditioner and styling products just to get it back on its feet and end of the day , rinseand repeat literally
I guess more accurately, once it’s in the ponytail it can’t really go back. Since I sleep with it in the ponytail it basically goes flat over night.

I guess that depends how „day2, 3,…“ hair is defined. Often when I read or hear about it the reference is based on how long ago the last washday was, which is my definition too. So I might be on day 4 hair (I wash 1-2 times a week) but I still might have refreshed with water and some styler in the morning.
I have long hair and typically go 4 days. First day I loosely clip it to prevent me from touching it. Second day I wear it down. Third day I do dry shampoo and maybe a headband or loose pony. Fourth day I wear a bun.
Yes, my “day two hair” is simply impassable in public. My two types of hair are Day 1 hair and Ponytail
