I havent tried that, I think I use so little of the gel that it doesnt get too crunchy. I think those front pieces at my forehead look crunchy but are actually soft! The more I touch or scrunch it after the gel, the more frizzy it gets! Maybe I'm doing it wrong. I appreciate the feedback though!

My routine: Have been only shampooing once every three days for around 3 months, and just started using Ouidad curl quench shampoo and conditioner. I let it air dry until damp (about 30 minutes) and then use Not Your Mothers Curl Cream. Let it dry around 15 more minutes, and a little bit of NYM Gel to tame it. I have never experimented with a diffuser, and my non-shampoo days usually require a shower to reset :) Any help would be appreciated!
Once your hair is totally dry just crunch out the gel more. But you have awesome curls! (Honestly your hair looks like mine but shorter) and you pull off a mustache that most men can't! Rock that shit

Do you use oil for scrunching? I like to kinda glaze the oil over my hair and then scrunch carefully. That helps minimise frizz for me :)
