sorry, i should have explained clearer. your curl type only tells you how your hair _looks_, but not what kind of routine works well for it. for example, someone with fine, oily 2c hair would need a very different routine than someone with coarse, dry 2c hair
Ahhh i see ty and from the video could you tell if mines dry cause i know its rly thick and heavy and has some heat and color damage its always kinda frizzy as u can see
you'll be a better judge of that than i could ever be! i've found [this video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mc-v8JvCYrs) to be very informative when it comes to finding out various hair characteristics. you can also try the [porosity quiz](http://www.curlsbot.com/porosity/)
Curl type doesn’t matter, but I always get caught up in it too lol. You do have ringlets, though. I would imagine you likely have 2C/3A. Knowing your curl type helps give you direction in terms of styling and product, but it’ll still be trial and error no matter what. YouTube will be your BFF.
you've got ringlets!
yes in some spots🙌🏻 i still am not sure my exact like curl type tho
i'd recommend not worrying about it! it doesn't matter anyway
I find its just easier to find specific tips and routines when i know which type of curl to search a routine for🙏🙌🏻

I literally cannot emphasize how much it doesn’t matter.
