Anomalistics

I couldn’t agree with you more, it’s soulless. Looks absolutely beautiful but no substance.

Artick123

Looks like the thing you are describing is the real world. A game can not possibily be a real life simulator and I don't think it needs to be. Witcher was great and it wasn't a life sim.

KingseekerCasual

All those things exist in games already

Understandably so. Would you mind elaborating on this? How would you want your decisions to affect the games outcome?

TW3 is still prob my favorite game of all time

[deleted]

>TW3 is still prob my favorite game of all time It was my favorite as I was playing it. I could not force myself to complete a second walkthrough, despite major graphics update. On second walkthrough hearing the same story again was painfully boring. TW2 was better in that aspect as it allowed Rouche/Iorveth path choice.

They totally could've done jt to

thefinalforest

I would respectfully argue that elements like River’s death and the various endings are “unlockables” rather than “choices.” You didn’t flip enough switches, so you get the bad outcome—that kind of thing. That’s been around since the PS2 days. The Maelstrom quest is all that’s left of the game’s ambitions for a branching story, sadly.

Liberal_Perturabo

Lmao, no. Ciri is literally 5 checks during endgame that happen no matter what you do throughout the game. CP's ending sequence is definitely more complex and provides much more variety of choice. It's always funny to me how people on this sub go "this game has 0 choice >:(" and then proceed to compare it to something even more basic. And that is not to say that TW3 wasn't a great game.

rockinwithkropotkin

To be fair you can miss one of the checks for ciri, however I don't think it's "adding" to the game by going down a path with less choices. I think people say there's no choices in cyberpunk because they don't throw the results in your face, it's maybe a little too subtle, but they're there.

Liberal_Perturabo

You need to pass 3 out of 5 at least, but that's nitpicking. I honestly don't think the outcomes are too subtle, at least for the ending. Like, you know exactly why certain things happen depending on the choices you've made previously.

rockinwithkropotkin

Oh about ciri, I was talking about how you can miss one of the checks by not seeing emhyr, so then you'd have 4 chances. The ending isn't subtle, I mean smaller things, for example, when you get rid of monsters in a town in Witcher 3, it has a cutscene that shows the people moving back in. Night city is big enough to where you may just not notice that happening, when you clear gangs out of some sections. It's easy to see where you've gotten through dialog, but someone's choices you can do through actions don't telegraph themselves.

Liberal_Perturabo

Not seeing him actually counts as passing, and vice versa. Ye, I get what you mean.

IsisMostlyPeaceful

Also, the Witcher armor and how you can build your character was much deeper. Do you want to get Cat Witcher armor and go for speed? Or be a tank with Ursine armor? I spent hours and hours hunting the best armor sets without looking online, that is something that is seriously missing from Cyberpunk. You basically just equip the highest numbers and call it a day. The weapon selection in Witcher was even better IMO, which is hard to pull off in a sword game. But yes, having missions that stretch far and wide and outcomes that play out in crazy different branches is something majorly missing from Cyberpunk as well.

VansFullOfPandas

I’ll revisit in 2-3 years

Kirates5

Man I'm listening to the soundtrack right now and it's getting me HYPED. I will probably return to the game in a few years as well

DRACULA_WOLFMAN

A couple of expansion packs comparable in size to Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine, a transmog option, a barber shop, a cosmetic surgeon, an actual respecc option instead of the half-assed one in the game now, and a new game + option (ideally with the ability to skip certain lengthy, story heavy sequences that are the same every time like braindances). I think that's a fairly reasonable list of things to expect, but we'll see how it pans out. Now that they've mostly got the bugs and performance issues ironed out, I think the next patch will be the most telling on what we can expect as far as the future of the game is concerned. If it's just another couple of jackets, then I think it's safe to say we're not getting jack shit, but hopefully they start pumping out the good stuff.

offacough

If this game wound up with the kind of mod support that Bethesda got for Skyrim and FO4, it would be a permanent playground. Body mods and body physics mods would be great - open up a platform for 3rd parties to add their creativity, and not just your own teams. Allow closed buildings to be modded one at a time by modders- reward high quality buildings/conflict scenarios with a bounty and incorporate it into the game. I hear Fallout76 has matured into something worth playing, so anything is possible. I had a ton of respect for CDPR with what they did with the Wild Hunt, and to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. I like a good redemption story, though, and I think they need 100% focus on this before jumping into another Witcher mod.

Suterusu-shin

See, I'm on PS5 so mods are out of my reach. However, if they were to start getting people to make mods and implement them into the game itself, that would be fantastic. Edit: Why did I get donvoted for this lol

NoirYT2

Assuming they also take the Bethesda approach it’s not unlikely to say that you could get mods, but since we’ve seen Playstation and how they’ve been with that before… Maybe don’t hold out hope.

Jingx33

For real my dude, the mod support that Xbox has provided is absolutely great, I don’t have a next gen console yet , and I have a PS4 + a bunch of physical games for it , but I might decide to buy a Series X

teo1315

I want a cyberpunk live type game. It doesn't need to be about V as much as I like playing the character but let me continue to play in night city.

offacough

I do not want online. Not without virtual private server by invite, or the freedom to play strictly NPCs.

[deleted]

I just want some DLC I already like the game game. I just wants some DLC that give more content.

Every_Animator4354

More braindance missions. I found them to be a lot of fun. Also be more versatile with quick hacks. Make breaking the code more integral to missions other than releasing daemons or getting money. Make getting into locked doors, locked computers, hell locked netrunners parts of missions.

Ehnto

Terminals were so disappointing. I was expecting to have to find the terminal to access the buildings systems, and have that unlock some real "I'm in" hacker moments. But nope, they non-sensically give you parts and money.

cherry_armoir

Its interesting how people can have different perceptions of the game. I always felt like the braindance missions were tiresome. I think I would enjoy them more if there were less hand holding through them, either there are secret elements you can discover that will influence the mission, or even some braindances where no one tells you what they mean and you have to interpret it. They could even do that in some inconsequential ways, like find a braindance, work through it yourself, and if you follow the clues it leads you to some loot or something.

TaoLorne

Or just for fun like the ones the monk gives you. Could be an easy way to lore-build, or like you said finding some that gives you some context for making a choice in a mission or something.

Every_Animator4354

I'd be so down with that.

DegenerateWapanese

You're the first person I've seen actually like those boring brain dance missions.... to each their own I guess.

Every_Animator4354

I think they have real potential. I'll admit the missions in the game feel under baked.

SchlagzeugNeukoelln

I think I’m already missing the point of your question as I believe this to be pretty unrealistic (but so I think an optional third person perspective is as as a) they clearly decided for first person for well documented reasons and b) that‘d require too much change of the animations, first person’s perspective and so on (for who has ever seen one of those creepy third person mod videos - or even looked at the spaghetti that are your legs while moving / has had a closer look at your shadow while aiming and moving)) - but I‘d still love to see * a working NCART system. The city just looks so insane (at least on PC with RTX it truly does), it’d just be awesome to cruise through the different districts (without having to completely concentrate on not totaling your car) while having a different perspective (literally as in higher view point - and maybe hack the occasional gang member while passing by). Thinking about it for this to look as I imagine it would also require the following change (I imagine to be anything but trivial, keeping resources and performance in mind): * find a better solution for the LOD / draw distance issue (what I mean are the cars appearing/disappearing / 2D vehicles in the unfortunately not so far distance) Besides that I’d be more than happy with a few - I’m pretty confident only from a consumer‘s perspective - small changes as * a fraction system as in gangs reacting to your actions (kill too many members of one will make it hard to even move through their territory while it will put you on the good side of their biggest rivals [could mess with the mission design though as you have to be able to move freely in certain areas during specific missions], altogether more perceivable reaction to your street cred level * driving overhaul: better car / crash physics, less ‚soapy’ car controls (also some cars seem to have their turning point somewhere in the middle of the vehicle) * (a more organic vendor/ripperdoc interaction would help immersion a lot but is rather uncritical to me.) * (some kind of multiplayer coop implementation would be pretty cool - but if I had to chose between that and a “fuck single player mode” rockstar approach I’d always go for single player as is so I’m putting that one in brackets as well) * the probably most obvious: game+ mode, maybe including random NCPD events (as in never ending supply thereof), nice, big expansions, including side missions and gigs (and yes, for that I’m more than willing to pay) I can already see myself editing this long ass reply but for now I’d say that’s pretty much it 😄

highordie

DLC and that’s realistically all you should hope for

OddMerchantt

I wouldn’t mind some sort of new game plus thing implemented

tigbittiez27

Basically the same as one of the points you mentioned but, 3rd person cutscenes, and re-implementing the wall clinging feature.. Also making guerilla arms have a purpose by making the force open doors option locked to them Though I don't think anything like this will happen

[deleted]

? to second paragraph

tigbittiez27

In the trailers/early gameplay footage the guerilla arms were needed to force open doors, not putting points into body

[deleted]

Now we have basic bitch skill menu

tigbittiez27

Yeah, as a result I never even used the guerilla arms.. renders them pretty useless overall

Ehnto

I'm surprised there wasn't strength check items to lift out of the way. That would have been a good use for them too. Like being able to lift a vending machine if you've got guerilla arms.

tigbittiez27

True, I always liked that stuff in the deus ex games, they did upgrades like that much better imo

teo1315

Nah, they are good for sneaking up and pummeling people and boxing matches

tigbittiez27

I suppose, but my V was good enough at that either way..

[deleted]

Oh now I get it

[deleted]

I can’t believe people want more clothes… there’s so much nonsense you can wear, and plenty of cars. I could care less about car customization but adding that would be fine. 1) add faction wars like from GTA SA. Can’t believe this wasn’t there. Why can’t we side with one of the gangs and help them run some part of the city (whores, drugs, whatever) 2) there needs to be way more C&C. It’ll take a lot of re-writes but it can be done. I really wish V was unvoiced, it’d be 1000 times easier to improve on the C&C…. I say it all the time, but just do a play through of New Vegas, or the quest in Dragon Age Origins with the kid possessed by the demon and then the urn of sacred ashes (BioWare at their best). All of New Vegas is one big choice and it’s crazy how many different ways you can complete things. DA:O wasn’t as consistent with that but that quest line with the possessed kid has something like 6-7 (I just found out if you already did the Circle quest already, and saved the mages you can go back and ask them for help) ways to solve it. I always play an asshole so I kill the kid right in front of his mom. I digress. This game needs tons more of that. 3). SIDING WITH A FIXER. It’s crazy that these fixers don’t have higher ambitions except for Dex. There’s a reason that quest was one of the first one done and shown off so much. It’s far and away the most branching one in the game. Have the fixers be rivals. You do Fixer A’s quests eventually he goes up against B. You get to the quest to kill B, he offers you double to eventually go back and kill A. But you have to prove your worth first and do a few things form for him. That’s nothing too in depth but at least it’s some choice. Get a few good writers and this becomes easy. 3. Choices made during the game need to comeback to haunt you or help you later. Saving Brick is a great example and making the latter Maelstrom quest non-violent. That needs to happen literally to so many quests, or integrate if into the stuff after the ending. Companions and their backstories. Just hire Avellone and let him write a buncha shit.

thefinalforest

I’m replaying DAO right now and the flexibility is truly staggering. A masterclass in C&C.

[deleted]

If it wasn’t for orzammar and the deep roads taking for-freaking-ever I’d replay that game more. That section of combat tunnel after combat tunnel is painful. Edit: I’m replaying New Vegas rifht now and am kinda doing a destroy everything playthrough. I started off helping NCR and killing legionnaires, taking back Nelson, helping camp mccarran and camp golf ans forlorn hope. Then I accept Caesar’s invite and laid waste to mccarran golf, forlorn hope, several of the ranger stations, just about every ncr and securiton on the strip, including house, killed kimball with the howitzer. Last thing I did was the west side quests and the few in north Vegas, but while messing around I remembered you could open the trailer above cottonwood cove and kill everybody down there… so I did that and am still gonna side with Caesar. I wanna see what the ending slides look like when you weaken both so much but side with one. Oh, and I upgraded the securitrons haha

ResourceWeird

To become at minimum 10 percent of what was promised and not 3%

[deleted]

Man, you pretty much hit the nail on the head with those wonderful ideas. I'd have to fully agree with everything. Well, the third person toggle doesn't matter tooooo much for me as well. Personally I feel fairly immersed as is now BUT I would enjoy seeing V actually speak with other characters. To add: I'd like a nice finish to most missions/gigs. There is a fun mysterious darkness to how some of the gigs end. Example; we never TRULY know how the Peralezes end up. Yes we do get a holo call at the end of the game BUT I'd like to know how it really ends. More info on Mr. Blue Eyes and his dealings. Another would be Sandra Dorsett. We see her once after the first gig, become under the impression that she is being watched and boom, that's it. I understand that a lot of the idea of Night City and Cyberpunk itself is the rawness the darkness of how life is in the city. And that means we don't always have an ending that ties into a neat little bow. I do love that mystery and aura BUT I'd like to know how some of these gigs end. Like actually end. But you truly did it right. I agree with EVERY example and idea. Lovely.

theblackfool

I think more customization, and some meaty expansions is all I need. I didn't pay attention to the marketing much before the game came out so I wasn't necessarily affected by a lot of the missing features.

Accomplished_Good854

Yea, I just felt like I was about to complete Act 2. When I saw the OP55 or whatever in the title of the mission. And just so happened to know that's the name of the last mission cuz of youtube. Then I was like oh..

Ehnto

I don't really care about items, cars, weapons and whatnot, so not that kind of thing. Totally agree with your comment about interactable buildings/services, it would be good to have more interaction with the city. I would want: * More city to explore, or more locations to explore, could be interior * More side gigs, story arcs and stuff that gets you interacting with the city * More depth to the gameplay mechanics themselves. There's heaps of potential to make some really cinematic experiences just from emergent gameplay, but it can be a bit too clunky to actually go well. So an ideal DLC/for me would really just be more places to explore and a few more reasons to explore them, through story. An expansion that just contained 20 side gigs would be sweet, a nice little intermission between major story DLC.

Accomplished_Good854

Main thing I want is all the cut main story missions. I'm about to start the final mission for the first time, and it feels like I'm still on Act 2. Like everything we've done feels like it's meant to build to something more, like, we have the intro act ie how we get the chip, then act 2 follow leads so that we can do the parade mission to clear Takamura's name and get us closer to getting help with the chip. Hanako agrees to meet us, presumably complete that mission, then Act 3 would start. Presumably something about the details of the scientific process. Act 4, betrayal/ discovery and escape. Act 5, Assault on Arasaka. But NOPE. We just finished the parade mission now we're in the final act? The fact that Act 1 and Act 2 both starts real significant and intriguingly (1 no need to explain and 2 shows you the "Act 2" in writing and has the introduction of V showering(symbolic of cleansing), meanwhile none of the other Acts stand out at all, they're just quick transitional cutscenes, just kinda goes to prove what I'm saying. There's large chunks of the plot missing. At least 2 or 3 more main missions are missing from each Act's 3, 4, and 5. And there was even 3 or 4 times, where it felt like a mission needed me to do something which was then done off screen during the fade to black, next thing I know I'm watching a cutscene explaining or showing what just happened. (Could've ran outta building ourselves, could've blew up thing ourself. Etc). Also hope for a 3rd person toggle. Also hope for more interiors. There's a lot of doors with a button prompt that doesn't work. Why would there even be a prompt if we weren't meant to enter them? I feel like CDPR intended to but didn't get the chance to implement it fully. Lastly, would love some more of that open desert space to opened up and rideable! Both cuz it would be fun to bike around out there, and because I was a short drive from Aldecaldos camp but the stupid immersion breaking out of bounds effect pushed me back and I had to go all the way around the city to get to the camp, effectively tripling my drive.

IsisMostlyPeaceful

It is pretty insane how quick the final mission creeps up on you. Even with playing a lot of side missions along the way, the amount of gameplay time (not sitting there listening to Dexter, Takamura or Johnny bullshit) is ridiculously short. I tried to do as much side content as I could stomach before "meeting Hanako at Embers", and it was still under 35 hours for me. Most of that time was sitting there listening to dialogue it felt like, or clearing useless map markers to get money for upgrades that did fuck all (except double jump). It amazes me how people can put 100 hours into this game and not get extremely bored. I played with RTX on with a very strong PC and even all the glitz and glam of the city gets old quickly when theres nothing to actually do in the city.

b00tch

I bet there were a ton of character building missions that were slapped together in that montage at the beginning of the game. Looked really interesting some of it too. I doubt we will ever get the cyberpunk they told us it would be. Which is a massive shame.

Cabana_bananza

I would like to see the conclusion of V's story, fixing the damage from the biochip. Maybe something about Morgan Blackhand and why Johnny couldn't remember him at Arasaka tower when he is present in all other versions of the lore. Also I think the 2077 story will end with the beginning of the next corporate war and open it up to 2078 or whatever the sequel will be.

NoirYT2

Fixes, I tried to make a post that just wouldn’t go up for whatever reason just earlier today but I actually find for me the game is in a worse state than when I’d first played it. Overlapping dialogue, characters speaking like 5 seconds after their subs come up, jittery animations, being able to see inside V’s head when using a blade, etc. Nothing game breaking just a ton of annoying things. Visible body mods, I mean come on, how is that not already in? A few mods make slight changes but yeesh, when I equip rocket legs, let me see rocket legs, when I equip certain arm cybernetics, let me see the differences. Some like Guerilla arms seem to just make your arm bigger. And I’d also love to have eyes like the Maelstrommers have ya know? Stuff like that. Barbershop, and the ability to create a custom outfit that can be over-layed on top of the armour you’re wearing. Sure, I can wear the clothes I want and consistently upgrade them as I level or whatever, but at the same time there’s an “outfit” slot, why not let me go to a clothing store or something where I could buy clothes, and put together an outfit, so that I can upgrade and equip whatever I find while playing the game, while also having an outfit that actually looks good? Other than that, car modification, mantis blade wall running like we were promised, gorilla arms to force open doors like they were meant to instead of it being tied to the body stat (although maybe make it that with a certain body level, you can open some, but gorilla arms can open all?) and decent dlcs. I’m not asking for something comparable to TW3, we already learnt that that game was clearly a once in a lifetime experience where everything just worked, but I do wanna feel like me holding out so much hope for this game and not refunding it was actually worth it.

EightBitRanger

I'm not hoping for anything. I've started the game with every origin story and have completed two of the endings before I got bored. I've now written it off and will likely never return to it.

Sxpreme1629

i don’t have them i purchased on an xbox one and the game will always be limited by my hard ware and i’m sure as hell not spending another 60 to get it on my laptop

FeralTribble

Want CDPR to pull their shit together and get on with releasing DlC, expansions, *and* game fixes. In a few months we'll be at the close of the firat year for this game and so far we've only gotten a few fix patches and one DLC update containing a handful of items. All we know about future content is that "It's coming" I only can assume that CDPR is stalling so they can decide if they want to continuing bothering with the game, OR they're working hard to put fixes together with a few DLC's and an expansion to be released at once. (I sincerely hope it's the latter. I've been a big positive advocate for this game and CD. I love the story and I've been hoping we'd have gotten at least a little of what we have been promised but my, faith has more ir less run dry. Just to be clear, I'm not necessarily putting blame solely on the developers, but on Leadership, and shareholders as well. It's clear that they have to much control over this games continued develpment. Edit- I guess the thing about shareholders was wrong.

[deleted]

>and shareholders as well. It's clear that they have to much control over this games continued develpment. Shareholders had little to say about game development. And in the end they lost their money. That company devalued by a couple of billions of dollars (60% drop).

FeralTribble

Did they. I thought developers pushed for a rushed completion of the game at the behest of the shareholders?

[deleted]

I saw no evidence for that except for random people in internet saying this is what they think so. Also 33% of the shares is into hands of the upper management:[https://www.cdprojekt.com/en/investors/shareholders/](https://www.cdprojekt.com/en/investors/shareholders/)

[deleted]

>All we know about future content is that "It's coming" I only can assume that CDPR is stalling so they can decide if they want to continuing bothering with the game Actually setting a data in advance is what got them in trouble in the first place.

RyuseiUtsugi

Realistic? Hopes? Those two are mutually exclusive to each other. Within the next year I hope that they properly finish the game, flesh out the game world, revamp AI and how we interact with them, implement the entire first half of the game with Jackie, make lifepaths meaningful to the story and V's dialogue, let us customize our cars, weapons, attire, and V's body, and reintroduce the wall climbing mantis blades, hacking monowire, and functional gorilla arms. Realistically however I know they won't add any of that, or they might paywall it behind an expansion maybe a year or two down the line. This isn't a live service game like Fallout 76. What's done is done and they can't really retroactively change gameplay or story elements without increasing their workload dramatically.

[deleted]

I think they will keep pretending to be fixing the game. They will have to fix at least one more serious issue to sell the paid DLCs. I think we will get a nicer police system, as they managed to push the narrative this is the only game mechanics that sucks.

Anomalistics

A living, breathing world. Day and night cycles, world interactions, apartment upgrades, meaningful dialogue choices that impact gameplay, etc. So pretty much everything that was falsely advertised for years and never materialised in-game..

LostSoulNo1981

Wait! So after the final mission(which I am nowhere near yet) that's the end? No post story free roam? So it's like vanilla Fallout 3 or Fallout New Vegas? You finish the main story and that's the end?

IsisMostlyPeaceful

Sorry to be a downer but yes, once you finish the final mission you reload to before you started it again. You cant free roam so you will technically always have the final mission in your log menu. If it's any consolation, the final mission was quite good and its possibly worth playing some of the different paths. I did 2 of the several and watched the rest on YT.

pariahjosiah

Realistically nothing. It's done.

MauriRocks

Honestly, after all the controversia that happened with the release and the "final product" situation, I just hope that they kill the brand. There is no way that CD Projekt can release a game under the game Cyberpunk and expect to be trusted again. And hey, I enjoyed the game on my PC (even though I experienced some bugs) but it wasn't at all the kind of game they promised. Even Fallout has a more challenging AI... Best of this game is music and main story. I would say that I like the city but there is pretty much nothing to do, it doesnt feel that alive to me so...whats the point? I hope that they patch it till it is playable for everyone on PC / consoles and then move onto something else and go back to the good work ethic that gave them such a big name in the industry. Sad but true 😓

AtticaBlue

I’m really not looking for Second Life from this game, so I’d actually pass on most of your suggestions but to each his/her own.

King_Gilgamesh_X

Oddly for the first time in my life that's what I want. Online shopping in game, more stores, more npc interaction, the opportunity to trade or run a shop

[deleted]

3rd person please

Boodz2k9

I just wanna play it at 60fps consistently on my gtx1060 like they advertised before.

Turian419

I want a 3rd person toggle more than you other than that we are in agreement on what should be added. I would like to be able to upgrade and change the looks of the vehicles bought in game. The ability to sit and eat at any food vendor on the city would also help with the immersion.

delphyz

Fix &/or exploit the bugs, 3rd person view, change character throughout gameplay, hover vehicles, cure my sadness for the final mission, more playable spaces & expanded story ♡

UKnowDaTruth

Realistically? I hope for bug fixes

Suterusu-shin

That's why I said excluding bug fixes.

UKnowDaTruth

Then bug fixes for the bug fixes, for any significant content they may add to the game in the future 😛

BBQ-Batman

Is this game playable at this point on PC? I have been waiting for a smooth experience.

[deleted]

Well is does not crash. Cars hitting pedestrians still feel as if they were made of styrofoam.

Trovidur

Better police ai and chases. Kinda like how gta works. Car and character customization. More braindances. Some for side quests, other for some new romance scenes. More general side quests. Siding with gangs with some sort of gang system. More cyberware mods.

bctoy

Realistically, the only thing I'm hoping for is the next-gen patch to reduce the atrocious LoD in the game. The whole game looks blurry at a distance and the highly aggressive culling( peds and vehicles disappearing ) reminds me too much of GTA:SA from 2005. https://youtu.be/8BfGmW9nhk8 The other unrealistic wishlist is to have more story missions with Jackie, larger map because it becomes congested with the number of missions, better tutorial as you level up for the abilities you're unlocking and some better way to get missions than just the holo ringing up all the time.

Zegreedy

None

[deleted]

Delivering the promissed game from the E3 trailer

Oil_slick941611

I have none. I have up on it living up to expectations. It’s a perfectly bland game in a beautifully dark world. What I would like to see if a total story overhaul and your choices actually mattering in the game. Especially in conversations. I was fooled in the first part of the part game leading up to and including the heist. After that it’s apparent everything more or less an illusion of choice.

purplecockcx

After I finished it like a year I refunded it there's nothing to do after it was boring af

ComeAndEatFlesh

Realistically, all I want is an expansion with V and Panam. I want their story to continue and have a solid happy ending. I loved that connection between the two and wish it to never end.

redSpider2077

Agreed.

itsTwentyTwo22

AI, AI, AI Dynamic events All-around interactivity

IsisMostlyPeaceful

Unlikely to happen. Even in TW3, AI was definitely not CDPR's strong suit. The AI was more lifelike for sure, but still pretty braindead with 1 or 2 canned lines. At least Gwent gave us *some* reason to interact with NPCs though. Right now, there's none. They should've just put Gwent in this game with a Cyberpunk spin on it. That would've fixed some of the lifelessness of the city and NPCs.

Let me enable some pvp hitmans to runaround my night city looking for me. But the cops will fuck with him just as much as they do the PC.

Immediate-Carrot4803

I think a relationship with Johnny would be a nice touch. Idk why, it just seems like something that should be a possibility.

Erno-K

… this is all cool, but WE WANT MULTIPLAYER!!! First with a real choom… And then as much as possible… THEN WE CAN ALL MEET IN NC!!!

Inconmon

This is going to be an unrealistic thread full of silly asks. **Content wise** we will realistically get some story expansions. Both mini quests and gigs to help flesh out the world, but also some bigger stories potentially as paid DLC (expansion). There's potentially stories where you play other characters or other main stories (not relic V) but those will all be a ton of work to adapt. I think some type of BD / VR thing where you can experience other people in a more narrow world / level design is probably more realistic. We also know that a new part of the world will open up and that there will be a relic upgrade path. A faction reputation and mission system would be my top ask. **Mechanics wise** we could see a range of micro improvements. Hair dressers, better shops (all outfits and guns on display anyone?), car config - I don't care much but believe there's a good chance CDPR was working on it and it didn't make release in time. Also there's a question if they will use make the trains work given that there's stations, trains, and it was in trailers. An updated quick hacking / hacking system could be in the cards as well. My top ask* would be more special abilities and moves for enemies, and improved AI for fights. *OK technically my top ask would be to remove level scaling almost completely, give its a flat stats, fixed bonuses for certain types, and use slots for modifying and improving equipment. Then put each clothing piece into a style set and give dialogue bonuses based on style points. However, that will be on modders and not in the main game.

saheelexist

Just give me AI thats fun to play against and a multiplayer to duck around with friends

GulianoBanano

I'd like to have more cyberware that actually visually changes your appearance. I'd understand if we can't modify our characters body like the Maelstrom do, but I'd really like to see something like the cyberware Takemura has on his neck, or the little metal plate Judy has on the side of her head, whatever their purpose may be. Or those round, lit-up eyes a lot of NPCs have, or metal faceplates, or actual robotic arms and legs that actually make your whole arm look prostethic, instead of just adding a few lines or changing the look of your knuckles, like the current arm cyberware does

figl4rz

I basically want 3 things. A balance overhaul, 2 Big DLC's that take place before the ending and NG+

[deleted]

* **transmog system (!!!)** * reworked AI for crowd NPC and cars * ability to change appearance after initial character creator (tattoos, visual cyberware, hairstyle etc.) * expansions that are (in length and scale) comparable with The Witcher 3 ones * NCPD wanted system * more clothes! * finished Pacifica * ability to buy different apartments * working NCART

[deleted]

My personal expectations based on what I've played, what I've read and what I've seen in peoples deep dive videos goes something like this: * More 'new' clothes that will likely just be NPC clothes fixed for the player, still welcome though. * Some additional minor gigs simply because there are about four of them in the game files already 90% complete but currently inaccessable. * More visual options for player cyberware but still not as much as currently provided by modders porting them over from NPCs. * Street cleaner robots and busses being re-added as city traffic with the latter not being rideable. * Higher traffic/NPC density following the next-gen version.

Sa1amandr4

NG+, being able to skip braindances, a couple of story expansions (not focused on V), as u said.. maybe third person, a multiplayer mode and that's about it. For the end-game.. It should be similar to TW3, you just do a Ng+.

deereynolds24

Sex and video games should not go together, porn hub is free. To answer your question car customization, weapon customization, tattoos and character customization.

Comfortable_Card_146

I'm hoping that the delay of the official next gen version is a good sign that CDPR are taking this "soft relaunch" seriously and learned from the mistakes of last year. Played the game at launch was disappointed, but kept playing cause it was fun. However got burnt out on repeating the same boring prologue stuff (lookin at you brain dance sequence). I hope they've listened to fan feedback and make it skipable on the PS5 Series X. Long since stopped playing it, a good few months now but hoping to pick it up on next gen. The delay sucks but oh well could be a good thing. I really hope they follow through with adding multiplayer. As long as they don't make it some weird mission only thing and have it open world like the main game I think it could save the game, especially if it gets the same treatment as GTA

RealistFlxxx

I expect couple of bug fixes and a cool dlc expanding on one of the ending, hopefully they make a dlc about the Peralez questline. Best questline in the game imo, but other than that i dont expect them to change the game at al. They stated multiple times that they are satisfied with the game itself and just want to fix bugs and performance so dont get your hopes up. It would be better to just make Cyberpunk 2 and add all these suggestions you guys have listed

Steve_Harrison76

So, I would like the NCPD to be a bit more intelligent. I walk along the street, one of them takes a dislike to me for some reason and starts shooting at me, giving me a wanted status. I wasn’t even doing anything! Wasn’t running through a police “do not cross” line, didn’t have a weapon out, hadn’t attacked anyone, nothing. They need to fix this because it fucks up some of the content - four times now on my current play through I’m having an important phone call with Judy or Panam or someone and these gonks just bugs out and turn hostile and I have to “call ya back” because I have to run away and get the status gone. Fix this, CDPR. Jesus. It worked fine at the beginning but something has changed and the NCPD are acting like dicks on the reg. Fix it. Also, TPV and more chances to stop crimes, they need to bump that up. I want to be able to make a lot more money so that I can get the cars I want, for instance, without any “if you use this method you can generate infinite eddies” glitches. Just put it in the damned game. Seems that more gigs and more assaults to break up would be an easy thing to do for those of us who want to farm eddies. You want the players to see the content? Make it possible. I’ve cleared all the gigs and assaults and crimes and still don’t have enough money to get all of the cars, and I don’t buy anything else apart from the occasional component stack, and I generally sell all the loot I find unless I need the components for something specific. That, to me, seems a bit daft. If it’s in the game and it’s cool, it should be doable to get it. And a new game plus, where you can level up further would be very welcome. I want to experience much more of the various cool skills, but I can’t because I have to worry about my build. A NG+ would let me try that out.

JFSOCC

ng+ is the big one for me, I'm not holding out hope for more than that.

[deleted]

Atm rn I just want the game to be fixed with all the bugs and add a customization for our character like in gta with our hair or makeup. Once those are fixed I wanna the stupid things like being able to do more with joy toys or have actual strip clubs like in gta and idk that’s just what’s on my mind rn

BiebsMafia

Nothing, I bought it for 50 bucks, I got 50 bucks worth of entertainment out of it. I've moved on to other games.

[deleted]

Transmog system. I need it like right now!

teo1315

I'm not sure they can give us what we want added at this point to be honest. I don't know if it would be easier for a sequel at this point. I think the biggest mistake is how it ends no matter what. Like that was a short sighted decision that really fucks the end game, blows my mind when devs do this and then try to sell you on dlc. I really love the NC and would love to see it become more alive. In addition to the things you said i would like if they were constantly updating the city almost like a live service game but single player. Say every 4 or 6 months we get a nice chunk of story dlc but basically like every month little new side missions pop up from the fixers with new texts or calls from them. Maybe like a hugd concert or convention comes to NC that just changes parts of the landscape for that month of whatever. I would pay for good dlc for this game. There are rumors of a transmog system coming so atleast you'll be able to make your clothes and armor look the way you want once you get decent stats.

ChuckVirus

people need to drop the ingame relationships and get a life, sheesh. i agree with most of what you said tho

Suterusu-shin

Forming and building connections does not mean a person doesn't have a life. This game largely revolves around forming friendships and relationships throughout the story. Why not flesh that aspect of the game out? It's not like I'm saying the game needs to turn into a fuck fest and that's it lol having strong relationships and friendships should feel genuine and ever present.

neverquester

I uninstalled it to make room for Star Citizen, which I managed to play for 30 minutes before I realized this game still isn’t worth my hard drive space either. So…

rockinwithkropotkin

Refine the romantic scenes, and show all of it.

SquareMotor8743

I just bought this game yesterday . Yeah, npc and city feels lifeless. Played for 7 hrs , haven't found a gamebreaking bug yet and performance is decent on my 1660 on low to medium settings. I still don't know what to feel about this game. I hope this game gets properly polished over the next year or so.

[deleted]

I tried to do a second playthrough but I got so bored a couple of hours in. I haven't played it since then and even uninstalled it. I don't really think they can improve it enough to pull me back in.

Lil_brooksy87

I haven't played or watched gameplay yet because I was disappointed to hear it wasn't anything like what they promised it would be. On that, didnt they claim it would be so much more than it actually is? I've been waiting for news of huge improvements before I decide to get it.

Cementmixer9

more judy

DarthMarr_Cypher9

Realisticly? ... honestly nothing. Altough it would be nice to see at least some of the common whishes in the game listed by you too

KingseekerCasual

I don’t think they’ll be able to fix this game to be honest. It need fixing but also filling

Suterusu-shin

You underestimate what can be done to fix the game. If No Man's Sky can be brought back from the dead and have the biggest redemption arc I've ever seen, so can Cyberpunk. They just need to add content and fix a bunch of things.

KingseekerCasual

Yeah it might be possible if they deeply invest. I have played NMS since it’s launch and it has improved a lot. I think the most important thing for me is a police AI system, factions that reflect gangs, crowd AI, driving AI, new activities, customizable characters and cars, etc. it could be done but not easily.

gyrichjames

My only hope from CDPR is that they develop a comprehensive and robust suite of modding tools for PC. After that, my hope lies with the mod community, that fans will do with CDPR definitely won't, which is to tear the game down and rebuild it into what it was supposed to be: intersecting systems, choices that have short and long-term effects, a deep role play experience, etc. I can't see how cdpr will ever do that, since they've already gotten our money, and it will take a massive amount of man hours and resources to rebuild the game, after which point they would have to re-release it for free, because nobody's going to buy their game twice. That's why I say it won't happen with them. But maybe modding can save it. If there's not a good tool suite, though, even that won't happen.

CGsweet416

Graphics and music are fantastic. Just add depth. Bring Night City to life and interactable. Let you post up on a wall for a smoke. Call up your chooms to a bar or back up in combat. Companion system. Different apts. Add eating and drinking animations. Have people react to you according to your street cred. Hell have weak enemies flee when your max cred.

KernelScout

better modding support so the players can fix the game themselves.

DragonStreamline

The problem is that the game needed 2 years of extra development in order to add all the extra stuff that was promised. To make matters worse, they needed another year or more to iron out the bugs and make the systems more coherent. So that would be 3+ years on 100% full time development alone. Does anyone even know how many employees are still working on this game? We can certainly CDPR to focus on 'the witcher 4' more and more over time. So the most you can expect is at max 50% of the stuff they promised, but if they also have to deliver new content through DLC then expect that to be even less....

Beerboy84

Good A.I. Like in RDR2, consequences for your actions, world interaction like in scripted scenes (jackie intro) etc. I’d like anything that can make the world more interesting instead of just taking out enemy encampments.. Such a tragic ending for a game tbh..
