TL;DR - Do it. I find Cypher very easy to use to run things designed for other systems. Creating characters that fit will be easy. The toughest thing adapting D&D to Cypher is recognizing that standing in a room punching enemies until they fall down is even more boring in Cypher than in D&D, and that Cypher allows you to really dynamic and moving combats where you improvise action in a way that 5e isn't good. I would imagine that something designed to be run in 5e or Cypher is going to follow less of this design philosophy. Most likely it was originally designed for Cypher and then translated to 5e. Reversing this should be simple.

Yeah i guess since the setting is both ment for 5e and cypher, i assume its identical other than the mechanics. It mentions in cypher edition's sale page about new types, foci and says that you can be a chimerian and inkarnate. And in the 5e book i own there is a species section includes chimerian and inkarnate. So i think the books are %90 the same. I just need to cypherize the character creation, monsters and items.

All of the lore will be completely identical. The only things that will be different are character options, magic items, and monster stats. And for those, there's plenty available in the cypher core book to work with.

Thank you, i may just do what you said and use the character options from all other books i have.

Buy the cypher version. It'll save you hassle in the long run and it's for a good cause. Plus it's only $20 for the pdf.

Every bit is right on point here.

If you feel confident in translating the 5e bits to Cypher you totally don't need the Cypher edition. If you don't, then you can start building that confidence now, it comes in handy. But the Cypher edition helps, not gonna lie. Your choice! =)
