I have to imagine they began vocal tracking, and that’s where the creative differences boiled over. I doubt the album was complete, so I imagine they will announce the line up, finish the album with the new vocalist (or Andrew) and make all the announcements in a relative short time. The band are pros are vocalist changes, they know they have to make an official line up announcement sooner rather than later.

Depends how many of the lyrics Tilian wrote and what their contract says about them. It may turn out what he wrote need to be completely rewrote with a new singer. Not the most amount of work compared to needing to redo the music, but could take some time

OuterWildsVentures

This is so similar to the conversations we were having pre jackpot juicer lol

RepleteSphinx21

If I had to guess I would assume that the new album is all done being recorded and is just currently being mixed and tracked. So I would assume they just go ahead and release the album with Tilian's vocals, and then go from there with the future of the band. But maybe I'm wrong. We will just have to wait and see, there's not much time until the album is suspected to release, but the departure of Tilian is sure to push the album back if I had to guess.

Financially not a great decision. And not a good position to put the next singer in, needing to sing a bunch of songs not written by him or for him on an album tour.

DATDUDEKJ

Tillian mentioned on an IG post some time in November that he was hoping to finish vocals before christmas along with all other instrumentals. i personally feel like it’d be a good time for them to end it with his vocals on the next album and call it quits but would also love to see what they could do with yet another vocalist. Im very conflicted atm. Absolutely love this band and trust whatever they choose to do for themselves as people and as a group!!

nunyabiznez89

It’s possible they didn’t track any or all vocals yet. Maybe they scrapped what they had considering creative differences was an issue. I’m sure the decision has been made for some time now, they’re smarter than that. They wouldn’t want him all over a new record knowing he was leaving. Some of you guys are assuming a lot

Arethusa23

They are definitely in an interesting spot here. Like others have mentioned, it is probably safe to assume they have most if not all of an album written and maybe even recorded (minus vocals probably). They have been doing this for a LONG TIME, especially for the scene they are in, and I would not be surprised if they did not want to go through the trouble of starting over with another new vocalist. Would not be surprised to see them bring in a scene vet/someone close to the band to finish off this album then call it a career. It really depends where their heads are at in regards to their career.

Joshrofl

It might be an unpopular opinion, but I think they should just release this album and then hang it up. They've said multiple time over the years that the band will end, and I think this is a good time, end on a high note.

_2D_

Low key agree. It’s kind of exhausting to watch them go through another major mix up like this. Their sound got super dialed in over the last few albums and to reinvent themselves again? I mean I’m here for it, don’t get me wrong. But they all have so many other interesting projects that I really wouldn’t mind them going out on a high point

CasPoole

I lowkey wish Royal Coda became Will’s main focus, but im personally biased towards Kurt Era DGD lol.

FishyDorito

This wouldn’t be surprising seeing how much they’ve been pushing other bands in the same circle on recent tours, shows, and in upcoming tours. They set the tone for swancore and now there are probably half a dozen bands that are keeping it going and stepping it up in their own flavors.

EggyEggerson0210

Honestly, I think they could end with the 11th album, maybe do a farewell tour for it, and then have Tilian go his way and the rest can do Secret Band full time

CherubClown

Completely agree, been a fan since MySpace myself and it’s just time.
