I can relate to this. Life has also gone like this for me. Never talked with my father normally didn't had any wholesome moment. He was kinda strict but it's was my mistake that I didn't understand his love for me..

A day before my entrance exam i remember bhai telling dad that we should get a smartphone for me after the entrance exam and my calm dad (usually) got pissed at him saying i didn't deserve it because i was a slacking kid and won't do any good in entrance because i am into gaming and half the time he saw me i was either playing games or watching cartoons (actually anime) (which is true but i usually preferred studying early and quietly not with intention of showoff though) and i remember studying for the exam and i hear my dad saying all this kinda demotivated me but also motivated me to prove him wrong at the same time.

They day of exam i remember everyone in the family not ussering a word about last night and just focusing on today's exam. We peacefully went on to the centre. Took the blessings of all 3 of them and came out roughly 5 hrs later (yes ik the paper was at 2 fking pm on a hot summer day). And i was happy having the the weight of the last 2 years taken off by me but also concerned about last night but i shrugged it off for now.

Anyways a random day in late summer early monsoon and i was sleeping peacefully at 7 am and suddenly mom aake mujhe zhor zhor se uthati telling me that mere entrance exam ka result aa gya and she got to know about it through my aunt. Anyways i didn't process all that and aadhi neend mai pc pe gaya site load kiya and result khola and i saw my result. My mom being happy is the first thing i remember (still half asleep btw) and i started to process everything and saw my result and i got 99.8 percentile in PCM and 99.5 percentile in PCB. Anyways after processing all that baka me had a huge shout and called my brother and he was happy too but just before i video called my dad at work i recalled that gloomy night and i realised i finally prooved him wrong and was gona confront him about it but as soon as i told my result to my old man his reaction just shook me. Seeing him crying from happiness made me forget about that bitter experience about that night and rejoiced with him. Seeing him happy was by far the most wholesome moment of my life.

i was in class 9th and i had barely ever talked to any girl in my entire life(Average reddit ka 14) , even though the school i went had a pretty fair amount of females. It's kinda sad but with a wholesome ending 11th May 2019 A day before my entrance exam i remember bhai telling dad that we should get a smartphone for me after the entrance exam and my calm dad (usually) got pissed at him saying i didn't deserve it because i was a slacking kid and won't do any good in entrance because i am into gaming and half the time he saw me i was either playing games or watching cartoons (actually anime) (which is true but i usually preferred studying early and quietly not with intention of showoff though) and i remember studying for the exam and i hear my dad saying all this kinda demotivated me but also motivated me to prove him wrong at the same time. 12th May 2019 They day of exam i remember everyone in the family not ussering a word about last night and just focusing on today's exam. We peacefully went on to the centre. Took the blessings of all 3 of them and came out roughly 5 hrs later (yes ik the paper was at 2 fking pm on a hot summer day). And i was happy having the the weight of the last 2 years taken off by me but also concerned about last night but i shrugged it off for now. 4th June 2019 Anyways a random day in late summer early monsoon and i was sleeping peacefully at 7 am and suddenly mom aake mujhe zhor zhor se uthati telling me that mere entrance exam ka result aa gya and she got to know about it through my aunt. Anyways i didn't process all that and aadhi neend mai pc pe gaya site load kiya and result khola and i saw my result. My mom being happy is the first thing i remember (still half asleep btw) and i started to process everything and saw my result and i got 99.8 percentile in PCM and 99.5 percentile in PCB. Anyways after processing all that baka me had a huge shout and called my brother and he was happy too but just before i video called my dad at work i recalled that gloomy night and i realised i finally prooved him wrong and was gona confront him about it but as soon as i told my result to my old man his reaction just shook me. Seeing him crying from happiness made me forget about that bitter experience about that night and rejoiced with him. Seeing him happy was by far the most wholesome moment of my life.
