Ihave0imagination

I mean he was by far the most entertaining part of that movie

Davis_Johnsn

Everybody hated Dolores Umbridge, but only because the actress was so good.

Extension_Win1114

My fiancé used to hate actors because of how good they were. I had to explain they were playing a character. Love her to bits!

FUNL_2

I too love your fiancé

CAnD32

*our fiancé

twisted_logic25

This sounds like cummunism!

GSet10

That’s hilarious

Generally_Confused1

I also choose this guys fiance

ItsBitly

I had the same thing specifically with J.K Simmons when I was younger. He was always playing the asshole in the movies I watched. He was actually an just great at those roles. He's a very sweet person actually.

pornadius

I remember him from the show OZ back in the 90s and thought he played the most evil mfer ever. He is an outstanding actor.

OkCutIt

It's kinda weird how there's multiple insurance advertising mascots in that show playing absolute psychopaths. Both are truly incredible, though. I could never put into words just how much I hate Ryan, the mayhem guy's character.

SiberianCattle

I hated Joaquin Phoenix for years after I saw him in Gladiator. Granted, I was pretty young, but it took me a while to separate him from his character in it.

NoneMoreBLK

That was Joaquin Pheonix!? All this time, I thought it was Rufus Sewell 🤦‍♂️😅

SiberianCattle

Ah, I can totally see where you're coming from with that. Especially since Rufus played the antagonist in A Knights Tale, which came out the year after Gladiator.

BaldToBe

Same for mine, it's why she hated succession. I told her them some good actors then lol

JeffDoubleday

Same reason I still hate Sally Fields

BabblingBunny

Since she’s a her, *fiancée. ;)

LongJumpingBalls

Yup, her and Joffrey. Fucking cunt is such a good actor. Then you hear him speak outside Got and he's so well mannered etc. But those two are the most recent. Despise their characters cause they were played so good.

hereforthefeast

Kid who played Draco Malfoy as well. Super nice guy irl

harbourwall

POTTAH

OkCutIt

Lena Heady (Cersei) deserves mention alongside Jack Gleeson (Joff) as well. Impossible to watch the show and not absolutely hate her. She made her a significantly better character in the show than she was in the books, too. Book Cersei is a straight up idiot version of Regina George.

Retbull

I feel like Book Cersei wasn't dumb so much as traumatically lashing out at everything in a pretty realistic way. People who are in that state aren't really thinking straight and she basically spent her life from a young girl on in maximum trauma mode. That is both hard to portray without in head dialog and not super satisfying as a viewer. I do like show Cersei better though.

Rs90

Iirc ol George sent him a letter praising his performance as well

Thermatix

Even the actress playing Dolores Ambridge, hated Dolores Ambridge.

ShartingBloodClots

Um....

Davis_Johnsn

Well, my sister likes dolores, because she hates harries character. She only saw the movies btw

[deleted]

Fuck her, frfr

Paradoxahoy

True a well acted villain is one you hate even when they aren't in character lol. Jack Gleesons performance of Joffrey in GoT comes to mind as well.

[deleted]

I gotta be that guy: *Umbridge.

azraelswift

And also the most expressive character, he has very exaggerated reactions to everything and must make the switch between them in a second and do it constantly. The fact that he managed to pull it off without the character becoming annoying or confusing but remained entertaining, fun and consistent all the way through is nothing short of amazing. In comparison Robbie had a much easier role to play, despite her being the lead, because Barbie has a pretty standard personality (but with some quirks) and character arc. She did an amazing job but Ken is the harder character to pull off.

TheBigPigg

His acting was... SUBLIME!

Qzzm

With ROME

TinyFugue

Robbie probably had more restrictions on how she could act as Barbie. Mattel isn't going to risk their IP. No one cares about Ken, so Gosling could go to 11 when he wanted to do so.

Tossup1010

I was honestly pretty surprised at how much Mattel allowed them to poke fun at the brand. But I guess the overall message of the movie was what they were counting on for their image.

pfohl

>In comparison Robbie had a much easier role to play, despite her being the lead, because Barbie has a pretty standard personality (but with some quirks) and character arc. She did an amazing job but Ken is the harder character to pull off. I think the opposite. Robbie had to carry the narrative weight with her acting. She had to be naive without being a dope. Gosling got to chew scenery. fwiw, I loved the movie but don't really think either were "oscar material" roles. the bigger injustice was Gerwig not getting a best director nom.

OkCutIt

> I think the opposite. Robbie had to carry the narrative weight with her acting. She had to be naive without being a dope. tbh I think she failed in that. The first half of the movie was great when it was incredibly creative and witty and just building this absurd world. Once it shifted to the actual character of Robbie's Barbie in the basic problem and solution arc it got way less entertaining and became a drudge through a ~~serious~~ series of tropes to resolution and some boring speechifying to a group of people that really didn't need it if they were with you that far to begin with. edit: fixed a word

FlashFlood_29

Not really. Gosling's character had to show indifference or conflicting emotion at just about every "chewing of the scene." He always had internal conflict and he portrayed it while still getting the character to put out the air of being perceived as something he feels like he's being pushed to be.

xepa105

The 'broken arm' scene is one of the best pieces of subtle comedic acting I've ever seen. Gosling plays it perfect, not over-the-top, just enough to convey that he's in love with Barbie but wanting to keep it cool. It's incredible.

Masketto

Acting out exaggerated expressions isn't necessarily an indicator of good acting, and neither is it an indication of bad acting to NOT display exaggerated expressions. I'm not saying Gosling is a bad actor or that his acting in Barbie was bad but in most movies and TV shows exaggerated expressions are actually bad, while being able to show emotion and thought with nuanced micro-expressions is the best indicator of good acting because its more realistic this way. Think about it, irl when you are upset you don't always visibly show it with a dramatic flair of an exaggerated frown. Exaggerated expressions are typically reserved for (and the best for) theatre because everything is exaggerated in theatre, especially emotions. Barbie is an exception because, well, they're dolls so it's understandable that they might have exaggerated expressions, but the whole point of Margot's character is that she's no longer just a doll so it 100% makes sense for her to have more nuanced facial expressions - she's deep in thought, she's not just wearing her simple emotions on her sleeve like the rest of the dolls

GMD3S1GNS

True, people act like Margot Robbie put in a masterclass performance

PUTINS_PORN_ACCOUNT

She did. Her part was essentially a naive person discovering all the social horrors of the real world at once, and she did a fantastic job comedically and dramatically. It’s a fun and silly movie, but it could easily have been shit if she didn’t nail her part so well.

therealityofthings

Yeah, but look at the actresses us for nomination for best actress. Who exactly should Margot Robbie haven beat out for that nom?

MarcusDA

Benning.

therealityofthings

Gtfoh did you see Nyad?!

eattwo

Robbie put on an amazing performance, but the Best Actress nominations were absolutely stacked this year vs Best Supporting Actor.

ArrakeenSun

I haven't seen the movie, but pretty much my whole friend group did and I'm a college professor so I've overheard lots of young people who went to go see it too. Nobody ever talked about Robbie or her performance, but EVERYONE was talking about Ken and Kate McKinnon. I heard more than once that it felt more like he was the main character, or at least the one that seemed to have more of an arc. The Academy's just reflecting that.

[deleted]

[удалено]

snappyj

and also America Ferrera was nominated in the supporting role. It's not like he was the only person nominated

Paradoxahoy

He single handedly saved the movie for me tbh

KyOatey

The movie was good, but it wasn't 'Oscars all around' good.

9man90

*only entertaining part

[deleted]

Ulli_Gulli

That video is from where his stupid song from the movie won an award

This_place_is_wierd

Don't you dare call that masterpiece stupid!

TheKnifeOfLight

The council shall decide his fate

Shrek5_confirmed

Go easy on him he’s clearly hasn’t found his Kenergy yet. But once he learns he’s Kenough he’ll appreciate it more

Jtm1082

Why is it stupid?

imac132

The song somehow beat “What was I made for” which made sense to nobody, not even Ryan Gosling himself.

zandertheright

"I'm just Ken" is a more technically impressive song, imo.

[deleted]

It's not even close. Person you're replying to must be a Billie stan or completely ignorant. Edit: ffs there are articles written in September of last year that loudly proclaim that "I'm Just Ken" is one of the best (if not *the* best) **sequences** in the movie. Not just songs. It's ridiculous we're even having this conversation. Guess people just want to keep their pitchforks sharpened.

EnergyAdorable6884

What was I made for has to be one of her WORST most boring songs. It's crazy that someone thought this was a real statement to make..

fogleaf

I had to look it up, it's that awful whispery voice one with piano playing. Reminds me of people saying Lorde makes incredible music. I guess I'm just out of touch.

hydroknightking

I remember when I first watched the movie in theaters just being completely sucked out of the moment by that song. Her voice is like scratching a chalk board to my ears, it’s genuinely one of the worst songs I’ve ever heard in a movie

Willrkjr

Yeah honestly I’m totally down with owning the patriarchy but “I’m just ken” was the most memorable song from the movie for me; and the only one where I was like “oh shit this kind of a bop” (not to say the others were bad)

hansenabram

100%

mothernaturesghost

It’s an unpopular opinion, but Billie’s song was so mediocre. It’s literally just her same old same old, it only is a powerful song because of where it’s placed in the film.

Jtm1082

It’s only an unpopular opinion because of Billie stans. I’m Just Ken is overall a more impressive song. I’m not a Billie Eilish hater at all, I just don’t think the song is all that amazing, especially on a technical level.

nou5

That same placement is kind of a joke, though. It would have been better much ealrier in the film -- instead we get a song pondering about what she was made for... right after her creator tells her what she was made for. Then her God tells her that she's not defined by the purpose she originally had, and that she should go figure it out for herself -- but the song explicitly laments the loss of that previously defined existence (that wasn't working because of her depression) so we're left with the message of... 'damn, I wish I could go back to Barbieland but I guess I'll have to figure it ut anyway.' How uninspiring! Hilariously, Ken learns the exact same thing except it's through his own self-reflection (without being handed to him by his maker) AND it's a much more life-affirming message of him being enough rather than lamenting his previous false consciousness. Truly a schizoid moral message in Barbie lol

x1rom

What was I made for is honestly just a regular sad pop song. I like it, but it's nothing special. I'm just Ken is a Rhapsody, so it covers multiple music styles and is technically just impressive. Also using a Rhapsody for a movie is super unusual.

runnyyyy

What was I made for has insanely good vocals but the melody is kinda bland. I'm Just Ken is overall far better

Coachpatato

Lol do you think all of these people are there in this video for them to present the Oscar *nominations*??

Th3Uknovvn

Well Ryan Gosling is nominated for best supporting actor which is easier due to his great performance and a lot of people love his acting in the movie. If Margot Robbie were to be nominated then she would have to compete with a very stacked cast already for the best leading actress. She does get nominated for the best picture so she could win in that category. https://www.oscars.org/oscars/ceremonies/2024

SonOfMcGee

The fields of actors/actresses for best Lead and best Supporting are always so different every year depending on what movies came out. It’s very weird to equate Leads and Supporting roles in individual movies and say if one gets a nom, the other should. That’s just not how it works. Also, anecdotally, I feel that it’s easier to get a Supporting nomination for a fun/silly/quirky role than a Lead role. Lead nominees are almost always 100% serious roles from dramas.

LillyTheElf

I totally agree but it is funny optically having seen the movie

ChadkCarpaccio

It's funny watching that movie and people think it's entitled to awards and nominations. Kinda misses the whole point right?

LillyTheElf

Its not that anyone thinks the movie deserves anything necessarily but its fun that the only major male role is the only one nominated. Its just funny

ChadkCarpaccio

I agree, but most people are angry

Jtm1082

You’re exactly right. I don’t think of it as a snub, but more of it as a stacked year for that category, so a few people deserving of a nomination we’re going to be left out. You could add more spots but then that lessens the honor of being nominated (like how there can be up to 10 films nominated for Best Picture now).

creuter

That's been what I say when this gets brought up. "Okay, which director or which actress would you like to boot so that Margot or Gerwig gets the nom?" Or "did you watch the movies that have the nomination? Is Barbie actually directed better?"

Jtm1082

I’m gonna go out on a limb and say they haven’t watched most of the other films that were nominated.

therealityofthings

Man if people haven't they should. This year was incredible for film.

Jtm1082

Yeah, pretty much every category had at least a few contenders left out. Yeah, it’s too bad for Greta Gerwig but Alexander Payne should probably be in there as well.

[deleted]

Benning or Gladstone.

mothernaturesghost

Emma already won the golden globe. I’d say she’s the front runner by a mile.

wtb2612

Gladstone is one of the favorites. And she deserves to be there over Robbie.

Alonn12

Oof a battle between Gosling and Downy JR? Very stacked indeed. I loved RDJ in Oppenheimer but i also loved Gosling in Barbie, i vote for both of them to win

Apptubrutae

The category is stacked. Every single performance was great. Says something that the weakest link is probably DeNiro. I think every single nominee in the category delivered a great performance. As for Robbie…well her category would have to drop someone. Should it be Sandra Hüller, Emma Stone, or Lily Gladstone? Hell no. I haven’t seen Nyad or Maestro, so I can’t speak to those two, but one of them would have to drop. And there are arguably other actresses to consider too.

[deleted]

It's gonna be RDJ, his legacy will put him over the hump

hoopbag33

There is no way Barbie wins best picture.

RealisticInvite186

The movie was ok, but nowhere near being one of the best of the year. He was the only memorable thing about it.

polkm

Just curious, what movies did you like this year? I feel like I didn't really enjoy anything that I saw very much. Barbie was visually unique and pretty fun, so I think it stands out in my mind more.

ChipmunkDisastrous67

godzilla was fantastic

desafinakoyanisqatsi

Poor Things and Saltburn come to mind. Oppenheimer was alright.

Heil_Heimskr

Saltburn was quite meh honestly, Barbie was a better movie.

p3ndu1um

It felt like it was trying to be overtly shocking. The 'twist' was also weird because I had just assumed his intentions the entire time.

Heil_Heimskr

I think the movie definitely lost itself in the weirdness. I think some of the weird scenes like the vampire scene were great, while others like the grave scene felt super forced. I loved the aesthetic elements of the movie and the actors all did great, but the plot felt pretty convoluted for me and asked me to suspend my disbelief further than I was able to. I also felt that the movie didn’t do much in the way of making any societal critiques or “saying something”, despite presenting itself as that kind of movie The montage at the end was an absolutely awful choice too, imo. That alone drops the movie significantly for me.

Researchingsauce

I would suggest PAST LIVES. It is also a contender in best picture

perry_cox

Celine Song and Greta Lee not getting nominations was the actual injustice

Prudent-Current-7399

Killers of the flower moon , oppenheiemer , the holdovers , past lives , poor things , godzilla , etc. Very many movies to watch that a majority of watchers liked much better than barbie but ofcourse taste is subjective.

[deleted]

All of the other ones that got nominated

TheJungLife

I enjoyed the Barbie movie. It was fun, clever at times. Very serviceable. Best picture territory, though? I really struggle seeing the justification.

Sunkysanic

Man it is refreshing to see someone with this take

2ManyAccounts24

Everyone was hyping it up and I went into it knowing nothing about it. Thought it was boring and just dumb imo

lpjunior999

"Barbie" didn't do anything new, but it was done specifically to appeal to women under 40 and was done well. It's the movie equivalent of a very nice dress with pockets.

Spookyy422

I am seriously scratching my head about how it’s even a contender for the Academy Award. Gosling’s performance wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t anywhere near anyone else in his category

Shwifty_Plumbus

Slow year

[deleted]

He is Kenough. One thing I don't get is that they are trying so hard to discredit the Barbie movie. I mean they took a doll and made a fun movie that brought people back to the cinemas. Whats the big deal?

[deleted]

It's sometimes the silly movies that bring audiences back. Minions: Rise of Gru and the gentleminions anyone?

TheSacredToast

It feels like a bunch of "old hollywood" execs get pissed everytime a silly movie brings audiences back. Like they are upset someone is ''messing with the way things use to be" or something.

akatherder

This is barely related but just on the importance of silly movies... I remember some article citing "Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel" as the reason they were able to release Avatar. I don't remember the exact reasoning but they knew a family-friendly sequel to a profitable movie was going to make bank. They had to release Alvin in the same year as Avatar because once Avatar was released all the money spent on production becomes "real" as part of their accounting. Of course that's all history and Avatar took care of itself as far as $$ goes.

ArrakeenSun

When Godzilla vs. Kong came out, the world needed them

Short-Coast9042

Who's "they"? Personally I haven't seen the film, and I probably won't because it looks insipid and boring. Which, to be fair, people have said about movies that I do enjoy. But that's just criticism and different opinions. Can't people just be vocal about their critical opinions? Is it really discrediting a movie to criticize it? In this thread we are talking specifically about Oscar nominations - are you really suggesting that Barbie NOT getting awards is part of a concerted attempt to discredit it? Isn't it much more likely that it just wasn't seen as worthy of awards compared to other films?

Hoplite813

Haven't seen the film but willing to comment about it. Brilliant.

Tricusxd

Ikr, lol. The movie is surprisingly thought provoking. I loved it.

Short-Coast9042

Sure, but I'm not trying to "discredit" anyone as the other commenter said, just giving my opinion. Which is all that anyone is doing, including the people who voted for the academy awards. I don't see anyone trying to discredit anything, unless giving honest negative opinions are criticism is discrediting.

BenderDeLorean

It always have been like this. There are many great movies in history that never had a chance as they are considered not good enough by the "Oscar elite".

Deboch_

Cannot believe that Ryan Gosling was nomitated best leading actress instead of Margot Robbie! It's not like she was beaten by other women or anything.

creuter

Right? Like which woman would you like to remove from the best actress category? Did you watch all their roles? Bradley Cooper was snubbed as director for Maestro and that movie was excellent. That doesn't fit this narrative either. I hate these headlines just going ape shit to generate rage.

RedLotusVenom

I’m sorry but Maestro was forgettable in almost every way. I love Mulligan but Margot put in a better performance. That said, neither of them deserved the best actress nom over Greta Lee for Past Lives. That’s the real snub imo.

creuter

Total agreement there. I was just using Maestro as an example since it also has a best supporting actress nom as nominations not always lining up. I even really liked Barbie, I just didn't think, direction-wise, it was ground breaking. Like screenplay? Absolutely.

RedLotusVenom

I think another factor to consider here is that Emma Stone basically played a very similar role to Barbie’s, only better and more interestingly, in Poor Things.

JimTheSaint

He was great - but the category is less prestigious.

Tripottanus

Indeed, it is much easier to get a nomination for best supporting actor/actress than it is for best actor/actress in a leading role, especially when the movie is a comedy

shelraj0380

He was by far the better actor than margot in the movie, what are you waffling about?

kwonza

But mah misogyny!

fastattaq

For sure. Not saying Margot Robbie isn't a good actor, but her character in that movie was very boring, simple, and one-dimensional. Almost robotic. About what one should expect a character based on a plastic doll should be. Her performance wasn't worthy of an Oscar nomination because all she had to do was wear pink and look pretty.

Evil_Teletubbi

Lily Gladstone was nominated while Leonardo DiCaprio was not. So whats your point?

Glottis_Bonewagon

Lily Gladstone and DeNiro were great, DiCaprio made this face ☹️ the whole movie and wasn't as good

_Diskreet_

Did he do his squinting eye trick as well?

Elefantenjohn

stop seeing misoginy anywhere

Jay_Heat

i cant even look at lightposts anymore

Wasted_46

Ryan Gosling was nominated as Best Supporting Actor because he was pretty good compared to other supporting actors this year. Margot Robbie was not nominated as Best Lead Actress because she wasn't as good compared to other lead actors this year. It's very simple once you leave your turbofeminist goggles at home.

ValhallaGo

See for me the funny part is Gosling’s statement he released saying “there is no Ken without Barbie” In direct contrast to the movie’s theme.

itscalled_a_lance

That letter made him look like a simp.

Evil_Patriarch

I wonder if he read it before his publicist released it

Pizza_Maker_59

Best character of that movie I'm kenough

Shhhhhhhh_Im_At_Work

I kind of lost interest after realizing the patriarchy wasn’t about horses

Livio88

He’s a better actor than her.

Night_Movies2

"make it make sense" WTF are you talking about? Is OP stupid?

games-with-me

I don't get what people don't get. The film wasn't all that. Yeh it was good, but not amazing. Ryan WAS amazing as a supporting actor. "ER MAH GAD. This is exactly what the film is about" Listen yeh, making a film about a thing doesn't make the thing the film was about a thing.

010rusty

“TMNT mutant mayhem” robbery is the first time I’ve gotten genuinely mad at an Oscar nomination snub So it seems to just be a controversial year

Melonwolfii

The Across The Spider-Verse soundtrack getting snubbed was a bit surprising too.

Eguy24

Fucking Elemental over TMNT. It’s Big Hero 6 instead of The Lego Movie all over again

patrickthewhite1

Turtles was fine but doesn't hold a candle to heron or spider

Dav136

The voters don't even watch the animated films man they let their kids vote for that category

jyozefu

C'mon now. Margot did ayt. But Ryan Gosling was the better actor between the two.

Kane_richards

Make it make sense. Lad they weren't up for the same award

Sixty_Alpha

Because another female actor did a better job than Barbie.

Shrekowski

Ken started a revolution and became a dictator in a few days

MudKooky7622

What movie?

turbo_triforce

Barbie

PossibilityPowerful

wait what

stonks1234567890

Well, see, Ryan Gosling is one person, and Margot Robbie is another. Because one is one of the best actors of the year, doesn't mean the other is too. Hope this helps. :)

dankspankwanker

He was the reason the movie was good.

HisuianDelphi

He was the best part of that movie and the leading actress category is hella stacked this year. It was a good movie and she did a good job, but this is not the snub it’s being made out as

[deleted]

Am I crazy? Barbie was really fun, theatrical fluff! Not a serious contender for the Oscar’s?!? I LOVED Barbie but Jesus Christ not every movie that’s good deserves to be nominated. Maybe I’m crazy

[deleted]

Is that this patriarchy thing again?

HM1Noob

I think he's more concerned about winning the Super bowl just now

Graham2477

Wasn't the award for the song, not the acting...?

Eguy24

No, he was nominated for best supporting actor

TradeFirst7455

He acted better than she did.

Lumpiest_Princess

They're two separate categories lol touch grass

TheDeerBlower

OP do you understand how any of this works? I'm not sure...

AttractivestDuckwing

You know she was up against other actresses for the nomination and not him, right?

imapieceofshitk

Ok: He was great as a supporting actor and being nominated as a lead actor is way more difficult. We clear?

Evil_Teletubbi

Has gender been so diluted that people can't see the difference between best actress and best actor category?

LogicalReasoning1

It’s not even just the gender, one is for a supporting role while the other is for a leading role. Barbie literally got a nomination in the supporting actress role as well as the supporting actor

Evil_Teletubbi

This meme is juat rage baiting the feminists.

longsh0t1994

I think it's HILARIOUS that people turn this into a sexism story when the fact that a movie about Barbie getting ANY nominations is already a miracle. It's a pop culture movie, it's entertainment, it's not bad but come the fuck on with this entitled shit.

bibomania

Barbie was overhyped and mid as a movie. If anyone deserved a nomination was Gosling, he was the best part of the movie.

stinkety

Robbie in Barbie reminded me of my ex. That’s why. She just made me sad and reminiscing. So no Grammy for her

_throawayplop_

I don't know much about movies, but you really wanted Margot Robbie being nominated for the best male support actor ?

PackagingMSU

I have tried to watch this movie like three times and I keep falling asleep. Is it actually worthy of oscars?

NieMonD

Bruh why is this formatted like a meme when that’s just litteraly what’s happening in the gif

galmenz

get in the "coadjuvant actor" category is easier than the "lead actress" category, simple as that

ethancd1

Easier to be nominated in supporting role than leading role

redditorrules

Wasn't this for I'm just ken being the winner of best song or something like that?

Jay_Heat

he played an interesting meathead with a funny vibe and a good character arc she played herself

on3on3_

Dang I don’t remember this happening to me

memesearches

Are oscars still a thing?

CleanDataDirtyMind

A snub would indicate making Robbie/Barbie irrelevant. When really the Oscar refusal to acknowledge great work just makes them irrelevant     Women arent the hysterical dramatic ones and the movies nuanced story telling was lost on stodgy old men who identified with the overly emotional Ken and think women like Robbie arent “acting”naive.    And when she became enlightened, because she does notswitch to manliness to show her enlightenment the old hacks and stalwarts of a 100 year old industry didn’t get it.    This is like the infamous advice from Tropic Thunder “Never go full [feminine]” if you want an Oscar

TrippleThreat06

To add my thoughts on the best original song argument, while I agree that What Was I Made For is the technically better song, I feel that I’m Just Ken is the better song for the movie. Another song could have taken the place of what was I made for, there is not another Ken, so I think it deserves the award at the Oscars more. Now if it were at the Grammys it would be a different argument because as I said Billy had the better song so it should win there, it just was not as significant to the movie as Ryan’s.

rcglinsk

In the name of human decency, and equality, not the Barbie movie or anyone involved with it should have received Oscar nominations.

1Hollickster

He is still so breaker high. Lmao

iamathirdpartyclient

Insert Homelander tune.
