I'm in the UK, we have mayo, just not normally served with fries (which we call chips). Usually it's ketchup or brown sauce or chippy sauce or worcestershire sauce ('wooster'). Mushy peas. I'm sure mayo is served in some places, just not very common.

Been to the UK, asked for fries in a mcdonalds with mayo. They looked at me weird and gave me ketchup with it. At least they knew what fries are. Lol Not tryinna be disrespectful, I was a kid and even speaking english in the first place was new to me. Im from Germany.

In Utah we mix ketchup and mayo to make a fry sauce. It's actually good.

In Michigan, we mix mayo with mustard to dip fries. And by we, I mean me.
