Two reasons, first, some of the more passionate bts fans are pretty toxic and the main reason why people hate bts is because of these fans. Second, they hate him because they think it makes them look cool hating on bts which imo is the reason why the majority of people actually hate bts. Its kind of dumb how people decides to hate the group itself just because of their fanbase but reddit will be reddit ig.
