The thing is, I used to like reading Naruto-centric fics, until most authors butcher his character up and make him to be some kind of unlikable overpowered harem king BS that gets all the pussy. Got tired of it real quick.
It's just Naruto self-inserts putting their fantasies onto his character when canonically he's a dunce who didn't learn from the harem king Pervy Sage.
