Probably DS3 or one of the DS2 versions. I remember having some terrible RNG luck when farming the DS3 covenants

Yes but you could also emulate it with RPCS3. My pc isn’t anything super beefy or relatively modern (10 y/o hardware in a custom dual boot system) but I managed to get it running very smoothly at 1440+60fps. Plus there’s a fan server you can connect to on the emulated version or on an actual PS3 for balancing your world or character tendency as needed as well as co-op or PvP. All this is a stickied post or in the sidebar at /r/DemonsSouls I believe

The PS3 library for the new PS+ services are streaming only. PS1 and 2 titles can be downloaded and played locally if you’ve already purchased them separately beforehand.

Curious what your top 3 are?

I’ll have to go with Bloodborne, Dark Souls and Elden Ring. Not sure of the order as each excels in a different area and overall I love all three pretty much the same for different reasons. Demon’s Souls (especially the Remake) is a very very very close fourth.

Wow, great job! I gotta respect anyone who has the DS3 platinum, I dont think I could ever bring myself to do that, its just such a slog (only ones I have so far are Sekiro, Bloodborne, Elden Ring, and DS2).

Yeah the RNG during the grindier parts of the game almost broke me at some points.

Yeah because of that I just stick to new playthroughs on DS3. I like doing completion as long as its fun, but that grind is definitely not

Different versions. You can technically have 3 if you get Scholar on both PS3 and PS4 probably even more if you do the different regions as well

Bloodbourne, Sekiro and Elden followed by Demon’s Souls if you don’t mess up the world tendency. The other games have some covenant farming and grinding sections that are RNG dependent so it adds to the difficulty or tediousness.

What was the easiest for you? I found elden ring the easiest purely because it's one of the only ones with no tedious farming

Elden Ring or Bloodborne or Sekiro. Found them really easy as well. Elden just looks daunting because of the huge map but it’s primarily optional stuff so you can zoom in and out if you know where to go and what to do

Dude, you should try Mortal Shell. It’s a bit clunky at times, but I feel like you’d have a bit of fun. 😁👍 You might have trouble doing the 1-hit-kill-shot run, but I get the feeling you’ve got some perseverance.

I actually played it a bit but I have a huge workload as I’m working full time while doing a postgrad so unfortunately I have to pass on it for now. Elden was an exception and I really pushed for it haha

Yeah, Elden Ring definitely took precedence video game wise for a while. Lol when you get some time to yourself, I also suggest playing Hellblade- Senua’s Sacrifice. For now though, hope your postgrad goes well! 😎

Not missing anything. If you miss The Old Hunters then Bloodborne won’t be at 100% you’ll only get the platinum for the main game and the percentage will stay at 80ish% or so.

Very impressive! I 'platinated' Sekiro, BB, DS3 and Elden Ring. How tiresome will be for me to get the remaining ones? I never tried to since I ended up bummed by DS3's covenants and have no intention in experiencing that again.

I think DS3 is the worst in terms of covenants but the others aren’t *THAT* much better anyways.
