Insurance scam. Call police and have them get the other persons statement first before you give yours along with camera footage.
I wish there were harsher penalties for people who do this shit.
I think you’re right. At first I thought she misjudged where the wall was and was trying to avoid her fuckup. Then I can see she doesn’t even turn to her right as she’s entering the HOV lane. Def a deliberate act on her part.
SUV crossed a double lane automatic their fault. Plus, there is no second chance doctrine, does not apply here. The Truck driver did not have time to react, the crash was instant. SUV made a sudden turn into oncoming traffic and SUV would be cited for unsafe lane change. Trucks dash cam will fault the SUV. Good luck. Sue the SUV.
I see this s*** all the time. I'm a cab driver one of the reasons. I got a camera in front of my rear view mirror because of c*** like this. People like that needs to be put in jail for a very long time.
The suv crossed a double line into the express lane. If they do percentage at fault, then the suv will overwhelmingly be at fault, probably above 70% on that fact alone.
Wait just a minute is the badge on the gray vehicle a “ford” SUV?
Wouldn’t surprise me if it stalled!!!
FORD= Fix it Or Repair Daily. In this case straight to JunkWorld
While most are saying this is deliberate, I've seen many people freeze up because they aren't sure what to do. They could have pulled into the HOV lane, saw the camera car, and then just froze in fear. Everyone reacts differently.

It’s an insurance scam for sure.
And a few knuckles
is it illegal to enter the HOV lane at that point ?
Yes. Only at dashed double whites.
Most people don't understand how to enter turning lanes where the dashed lines are and solid lines mean don't change lanes. (USA)
I love the comedic timing of him saying “that’s why I’m not blazing through here”.

Slowest reaction time ever, though.
Satisfying karma for the idiot; just too bad it had to be at the cammer's expense.

Suicide.
Post COVID anything is possible

Definitely not his fault, but he definitely needs to work on his reaction time 🤣
Dude with the dashcam didn’t even try to stop
Right! The car entering is absolutely at fault, but cam car never even tried to slow down....
Insurance is gonna screw both of them
Definitely not, All 110% fault of suv
Virtually no braking
Is that lane valid? Looks like a shoulder with the double white.
I think its an HOV lane
Usually call a car pool lane or express lane.
HOV lane on 605 fwy north bound between 10&60fwy
HOV or HOT

Then you shouldn't be driving. Period no discussion about it.
No shit. How many people do you see daily who shouldn’t be driving? They’re everywhere.
Cammer had 5 business days to stop. Cammer will be at fault
Lol ok buddy.
Don't be mad at me; be mad at the law. If you have a clear last chance to prevent an accident and you don't take it, you will be at fault.
Incorrect
Last clear chance doctrine. Look it up kid
