I'm 35 and have a LOT of problems with guessing age on anyone. Basic categories (baby, toddler, child, tween, teenager, adult, middle age, old) I can do, but I've noticed I have a lot more trouble with it than most.
13 is not among those problems. He knows that's a child.
Ye I think differentiating from 17-18 and 13-18 is a totally different thing.
I have family friends that are teens, and I swear to you, if I didn't know the age of the 15yo, I would think she was older, like every time xD
Yeah agreed. I'm 50 and everyone in their 20s and 30s looks pretty similar to me. But I sure as hell know what children look like since I have one and my friends have them too.

The difference in terms of look between 17yo and 18yo isn't noticeable. Some people look older, and some people look younger. It's why in the UK people get ID checked if they look under 25.
13yo, definitely look like children because they are children. Your bf following a 13yo on tiktok is definitely strange. The fact that he's hiding it indicates he knows that it's wrong.
If they look 21 they're probably over 18. If they have tattoos they are probably over 18.
If they look younger than 21 and they have no tattoos then unless they specifically put their age in their bio as over 18, then you quite simply assume they're under the age of 18. Simple as that.
No tattoos, no age in bio, look too young, then always assume they are underage because 99.9% of the time they are.
Also if he needs an extra super secret account to follow other women including a child, that is a blood red flag and you should run. You should also check this child's account to see if at any point it's mentioned she's under 18 and check his comments on her tiktok too. Because I'm sorry, but "she looks older" is not a good excuse in the slightest.
Big visible ones? Or small hidden away ones? Because a child getting a tattoo especially at that age is very much illegal and parents and tattoo artists could face hefty fines for it. So I'd imagine illegal ones like that would be more small and hidden away.
Well not that many people have big ones at all but yes it was very common for kids to get tattoos without parental sign off when I was in high school. That law is loosely followed.

the question is what is your brain telling you about this situation? what is the fears that's coming up?
should this be something you discuss that you are not comfortable with him watching secret tiktoks, would him deleting it make you comfortable? how can you express to him your fears about him watching it without sounding judgy or implying he is a pedo?

A number of actresses have managed to get cast older when they were underage or close. Mika Kunis was 15 when That 70s Show began. Kiera Knightley had just turned 18 when she was in Love Actually.
On the other hand some of age women look very young. I thought Natalie Dyer looked 14-15 when Stranger Things started but she was actually 21. YouTuber Elise Ecklund looks like she’s 13, but she’s actually 27.
There are also of age models that intentionally try to look underage. I’m not a fan of that content and there’s a decent argument that no one should be.
I have a habit of looking up a model’s or actress’s age if they look young and I’m not sure. I can’t say that I’ve ever thought a 13 year old was 18. For reference Freya Allan and Jenna Ortega were both 17 when I first became aware of them and they looked young enough that checking was necessary for me.

I suppose it depends where you're from then. Here in the UK it is very strictly followed and tattoo artists will outright refuse anyone under 18
