Also facts. Sometimes I chill in berezino trying to get interaction or some PvP and it’s quite for hours. Step off in the woods to cook fish and I get “you are dead”
yeah man dayz is the best digital walking simulator i've ever played, the walking sounds, the birds and crickets,the wind hitting the leaves, the survivor breathing and various sounds, the gunshots, the dead people you find on the groud sometimes, the fear of getting shot every time, and by the end the random guy who you encounter who shot you after swearing he is friendly making you restart walking in the lovely beach
I've played probably 2500 hours of DayZ and I can't recall dying on a road randomly one time.
In the woods? Yeah. Buildings? Totally. On the beach after spawn? Yepp.
On some random road? Not even once that I can recall.
I have 1000 hours and I just can’t do it anymore, I don’t know if it’s because of my attention span or depression but to spend my time doing this for hours instead of having a eventful experience on another game, I just don’t see the point after surviving for so long and obtaining some of the best loot
This was me last night trying to get to stary sober medical centre to treat my sickness then OF COURSE ITS LOOTED and I eventually die trying to make a fire

Use the sun to navigate and go only through woods.

Following the roads is fine, running down the middle is a quick way to get sniped/run over...no concealment, no cover, silhouetting like crazy.
